  • Being able to study long hours is important, but what's more important is to stay focused and efficient and not burn out.
    In this video, I discuss the ideas that I use to effectively study 8+ hours with good concentration every day without getting burnt out. These principles can be applied for both studying and working sessions and will help you study long hours with effective concentration and develop a habit of regular studying.

    ⚡SHORT SUMMARY:
    Getting up right: Getting an ideal amount of sleep and waking up at the right time FOR YOU, will do wonders.
    Optimising your mornings: Doing a few things or not doing a few things in the morning can have a huge effect on how the rest of your day pans out. So make sure you do all you can to get a great start to the day.
    Having a “highlight”: Having studying as a highlight for the day and completing it gives far more satisfaction than having it as one of the half a dozen things you do in a day. This also ensures that you do all you can to get that task done that day.
    Building and keeping momentum: Momentum is the secret sauce that makes studying easier. High-achievers accomplish their great and seemingly “difficult” timelines because of keeping momentum.
    Setting your environment right: Having a conducive environment for studying can make a huge difference to your comfort levels while studying. A well-structured environment will help you stay focused for longer hours.
    Avoiding distractions: Distractions are the potholes on your path to success. Find out what your distractions are and find ways to combat them. Be honest.
    Take REAL breaks: When you’re tired of studying, do things that rejuvenate you. This could be talking to friends, going for a walk, exercising etc. Avoid activities that strain you further.
    Treat yourself at the end of the day: Do what you LOVE at the end of the day after studying. This re-inforces a positive habit loop that makes your brain to want to study.
    And finally, make use of the checklist provided above for at least a month to figure out what’s helping you study longer and what is not.
    I’ve taken much time and consideration in making this, hope it helps you!🙌🏼

    AJEY- It's completely okay to not be a morning person
    ME- finally I can wake a 12pm in the afternoon and study
    THE NEXT LINE -
    For me it's the time between 6:40 am to 7:00am
    ME REGRETTING MY WHOLE ENTIRE EXISTENCE 😭 -_-

    The video has straight up facts !! As someone who once struggles in even studying 3 hrs a day to now studying 6 to 8 hrs a day it feels great that I'm actually reaching my goals. And to anyone of you struggling rn..just keep going and trust me you'll surprise yourself someday!!

    Im a full time semi- professional footballer ( I train around 7-8 hrs a day) but I will still say that..to do something this long everyday you've got to love what you do

    Must say, while seeing this video, I felt like in the name of studying for long hours I was just meticulously burning myself out with very little efficiency when it came to studying. Everyday waking up and start studying would feel like hell but still I would drag myself to the study table and through the day, everyday feeling like I did nothing. I guess I now know where I was wrong. Thanks for the video doc, it may sound like exaggeration but truly, it shook and woke me up.
    Also, I am vey very grateful to you for not saying things like "ab tu phod dega" and "ab tu aag laga dega" cause I am a very literal person, I really take these expressions seriously and believe that "true studying" is really "burning yourself" out. That is quite the way I function. Those are my OCD habits still there after therapy.

    I completely agree upon this - take a walk in a break time. I am doing Ph.D. at IIT - Bombay. I have observed that when I take a break and just keep thinking about what I did or the problems I solved are right; many times I came across minor things which I could add or modify. Many a times, during that walk time, I happened to get many different ideas I can work on to make my work better. So yeah, it works for me immensely.

    Focus is something that you as an individual needs to find,I grew up at the time when social media or smartphones wasn't even around but at times I did struggle to focus,so it's all about determination and not distractions,stop blaming your surroundings and take some responsibility,the moment you accept your mistakes and learn from them is the moment you'll notice change in your overall development.

    I wake up ( now lockdown) at 2 pm and sleep at 6 am
    This is my timetable and I utilise all my time well.. 10 pm to 5 am I so attentive 🧡

    Sir I am a NEET aspirant and my biggest distraction is sleep. It gets very hard for me to avoid sleep around 2.30pm after lunch. 😂 I'm going to follow the checklist regularly!! Thank you sir

      @@sabikasajjad2143 I think you are on the right path, I faced this issue a few years back, I had to study and manage an online business as well as Learn other skills, I put in hours but it's useless. The only reason to fix this is just to keep on going, the logic behind this is you are taking up a difficult task thus it becomes harder to overcome it. Taking easier tasks won't work so the only way is to fight your fear. Once someone told me motivation is temporary but discipline is permanent, motivation builds discipline over a period of time. Keep working Hard :)

    I was preparing myself to study for long time in a day for my carrier choise....and when scrolling on RUclips I got your video has recommend and usually I I don't watch the videos longer than 10min.     I stopped checking my phone first thing in the morning. It would take up at least an hour in my first part of the day, and just distract me from what I really needed to be doing.     The thing is on RUclips you have started new I was following Doctor Paramjit Singh( Dr Education) sir who also explains very well.
    I want to welcome you to RUclips & I appreciate your work. You are the right person to expose health scammers of ayurveda etc they can't even read the blood test report or urine test report but start to give free advises on RUclips. I appriciate your guts.
