All your videos are so aesthetically pleasing! I love seeing how organized and diligent you are with your schedule, definitely a motivation for me. I'm a nursing student and your advice is still so useful!
I've been looking for someone who vlog being n medical school. I am loving her videos and tips so far! Thank you so much for sharing I know how hard it is to find time to do this! I am planning on applying to Med school this upcoming year. This will come in handy
so glad to see you allocate time for bible study and church even through in the hectic medic schedule! doing first year of dentistry here!!! really inspired by how u manage ur time and life!😇
I totally love the schedule and the fact that you leave time for bible study and church! Wow it was such a blessing having stumbled upon your videos! definitely was worth subscribing to!
You are so awesome! This is a dream come true - I always feel like study schedules never work because of "unforeseen circumstances", but maybe that's just me not sticking to the schedule! It's my life! If I pray enough maybe I'll wake up tomorrow with a schedule like this tailored to my undergraduate needs - great video!
I'm a med student by myself and watching this impresses me - but girl, get some free time! It's like you learn or work out 24/7. You'll have enough time to do all of this later when you start working.
I absolutely love your videos. It would be amazing if you could make one about money saving/how to afford an apartment and go to school and a video on how you have energy everyday to do all the things you do! ❤️️
Hi can you please please please do a meal prep video....I saw your schedule and i loved how organized it looks. What do you cook on Sundays? I would love to get meal prep ideas from you, knowing that they would be equally awesome like your other ideas.
It will be tough. Many people in undergrad will try and distract you because of how excited they are socially for college. Saying no to people, while maintaining relationships is the tough part. Med school is different because you're more on your own.
Just stumbled upon your channel today. Wish I saw it earlier! I start Med school next week and these videos are getting me excited, as well as mentally and emotionally prepare myself for the next chapter of my life! Thank you! (:
Hello, your videos are great! Would you please tell us about making a do-able study schedule for the final exam(like, Anatomy, Physiology or Pathoma)? I'll be waiting for your video! Thank you:)
Just found your channel and love it! I'm a first year psychology student, been watching heaps of your videos. So motivating and inspirational, particularly study, organisation and fitness wise! could you make a video on how you juggle different responsibilities, e.g. relationship, study, work and family? thanks!
I am watching different study schedules. But what actually i am finding is a break for a movie or stanning insta but its not in anyones schedule 🙄 Man u just have to study once u entered the medical college🤪 I am new to medical studies🤟🏻 Nature give me the power to study 😶
As a first year medicine student I also feel like giving up. It’s my third week and work keeps pilling up and I’m falling behind in all my clases. I feel unmotivated, my health is deteriorating and I’m only 18.
@@tabbycatcrume Yes my parents know but they always think that I can do anything in life, they give me moral support and tell me that I should study for more than 10hs per day.
I just discovered your channel a week ago and have been watching lots of videos! I was so happy to see bible study on your Saturday schedule. What sort of bible study do you do?
I love your videos. Its actually inspiring me to study harder in dental school. And im actually considering to do my own channel; Dental school vlog. Hahahha
Hey ! I'm an art student with an interest in business but I was just wondering where you got the outline/format for your schedule? I've been trying to find the perfect one but haven't found it yet and I really like yours :)
I really enjoyed your video. Im currently a second year as well. It's eye opening because I put in 12 hour days, and on weekends at least 10-12 hours. I'm just curious to know how you do it with the classes. Your schedule is strict so that makes sense, it's just when I add the hours it seems so little compared to me. Trying to get on your level haha
+Roxanna De La Torre I'm pretty flexible with my schedule so I study a little more or less depending on how comfortable I am with the subject. Closer to exams I dedicate pretty much all of Saturday to studying as well. My goal is always to maximize efficiency so I can spend less time sitting at a desk :)
When you were in medical school, did you attend daily school lectures? I find myself so confused about whether to attend school lectures or go to the library and study myself. Please help Jamie!
Hi , you have mentioned that Anki and Firecracker is about the flash card , but what it actually look like ? lol :) and could you get us any learning tool or any online website you used as a medical student ? Thanks for the best scheduling video , I have enjoy it very much :) Hope you get back to my question very soon ^^
+sophara sar you can get a sneak peek of what anki & firecracker look like from my frequently used iPad apps video (ruclips.net/video/S-e3uA-SdG0/видео.html) :) How to make/use anki video is definitely on my list of videos to make but it may be after STEP time unfortunately :( I will try to get it to you all as soon as I can! Most online tools I used are mentioned in this video (Pathoma, Sketchy Micro, Firecracker, etc). Let me know if you have any more questions!
Do you guys not have to go to classes in America? Cause in this part of the world it's mandatory. And how do you manage to understand material if you haven't been taught it?
Hi Jamie. How do you study efficiently? how do you stay focused all the time? for me, i would be sitting in the library the whole day trying to study. but i couldnt absorb much info as i thought i would. lots of the time, i'm lost in my own thoughts.
Hey could you PLEASE share the template that you use to make your daily/weekly schedule? I tried on excel and completely failed. I just love how organized it is!
+Kay Gads check out this website: theorganisedstudent.tumblr.com/printables She has tons of pretty scheduling printables and a really similar template to the one I used in the video. Hope this helps!
+jesssicazz I try to set very specific and doable goals for the day (e.g. I want to master x, y, z concepts and I will do x number of question for each topic/concept). I often find myself being distracted by social media/my phone so I try to keep my phone out of sight & silent, turn off unnecessary notifications, and uninstall apps that I waste time on. If I'm doing flashcards or doing questions, I find that it's better to do them on the iPad where it's harder to multitask. If I try to do them on a computer browser, I would have multiple tabs open and it gets pretty distracting. I also enjoy doing flashcards/simple recall questions while I walk on the treadmill bc it forces me to stay in one place and focus on my task. When all else fails, I ask a classmate/friend to talk through a concept/idea/topic with me :) hope this helps!!
+TheStriveToFit Yeah it def does! I'm going to be starting med school this fall, and that's something I really struggle with. Love your videos, thanks for sharing :)
I didn't use firecracker or anki for gross anatomy! I spent most of my time in the anatomy lab actually seeing the structures in person. I think that's probably the best way-- If you can find some good diagrams and pictures that you can anki I'm sure that would be helpful too!
hey i watched some of your videos and i found them very inspiring ! just a quick question : can you explain how anki works ? i downloaded it but i couldn't figure out how it works :/
+James Lovett We had labs during anatomy/physiology and microbiology course. As second years, we're at the hospital one day/week & have class once a week on how to perform physical exams. I think starting 3rd year we will have more hands-on time.
Your schedule it´s pretty weird...... don´t take it the wrong way it seems like a usual routine but that´s the weird thing............. I´m from Guatemala, and I´m currently at the 3rd year (I don´t really know how to say it) but here, our schedule it´s basically going to the university from 8 am to 4 pm (so i usually wake up at 6:30 am) and basically studying, reading and working from 4 pm to 1 am............... and we have exams every day except the weekends of course....... I´m just saying, usually we get used to think that because you are from the US your study routines are harder but this doesn´t seems like it:/ . Anyway nice video and thanks for the advice:)
hi, how and what do you cook that can last a week long? I just started uni life and been cooking all day. I find that i wont have much time if i cook every day. so wondering if you can share some tips on cooking that is healthy but can last a week long(or for weekdays). thank u !!
+Nicolle Law Hi! I have couple recipe videos that might be helpful: ruclips.net/video/rY2Ri1YMi30/видео.html (baked ziti) ruclips.net/video/8k0WZx-cjMw/видео.html (turkey chili) I usually make a big pot of something easy to pack like chili/rice+meat/pasta once a week & I supplement it with different snacks (fruits, greek yogurt, snackable veggies like baby carrots or celery, etc) so it doesn't get too boring. I'll definitely try to come up with more ideas & make a video on it. Thanks for the request!
+TheStriveToFit I'm in first year and I'm always procrastinating so my sleep schedule is always messed up haha. I love how you did your schedule so I'll try and make my own. Thanks for the vids!
+eezz5 I was pretty relaxed with my schedule my first year too! I'm trying to stay on top my stuff now so I don't go crazy when official STEP study time comes. Best of luck on your first year!
Question, i live in Texas and want to become and dermatologist. I have a bachelors so I'm thinking of going to medical school. I work full time and have a fairly easy management job. Not sales or grinding but work m-f 9-5, my question is...if i can study a lot at work can this work? I also am wondering if any schools offer classes at night and weekend or if they are all set times. Thank you :-)
majority of medical students don't work. between preparing for classes, attending classes/labs/small groups/, having study sessions, etc. there is basically no time for work. the course load can be overwhelming and you want to use your time wisely to be an efficient and effective student. Fafsa gives you enough for school and to live off of so I would recommend going for it but not working. good luck!!!
I like the website you mentioned "the firecracker way" and I search in Google, but I'd like to know your opinion if it's safe to give your personal information such as phone number. And I love your videos
I accidentally stumbled on this video, as a basic Med student in University you inspire me to be more discipline. Thank you
All your videos are so aesthetically pleasing! I love seeing how organized and diligent you are with your schedule, definitely a motivation for me. I'm a nursing student and your advice is still so useful!
+Rebecca Lauren thanks so much! best of luck in nursing school!
I absolutely love how you have bible study on there it's beautiful how you put in time to read the word
Lizzy Alvaradoo xD
Lizzy Alvaradoo I just found this video and I though it was totally amazing she still made time to read the Word as well.
Thank you for showing that you can make time for your faith life, exercise life, and medical school!!
You inspire me!! Although I am a pre-nursing student, I always procrastinate! and watching ur videos motivates me!!!

You absolutely inspired me when you said you have Bible study, it's wonderful that you save time for it with your busy schedule 😘😘🤗
And now she is a successful & hardworking doctor ♥️🥺
I love this, and admire your discipline and finding time for GOD! I will def be borrowing this. Thank you !
I love this! As a first year medicine students, it will help me lots. Thank youu ♥️
I absolutely love your videos. It would be amazing if you could make one about money saving/how to afford an apartment and go to school and a video on how you have energy everyday to do all the things you do! ❤️️
I love it that you have time to study the word of God and go to church.Me too I am doing the same and I am also a med student!Congratulations!
You are exactly what I have been looking for on You Tube. Your videos relate to me(a future med school student)
Dang... what amazing discipline! Thank you for sharing!
How do you find motivation to stick with your schedule? I feel overwhelmed just by looking at it!
Hi can you please please please do a meal prep video....I saw your schedule and i loved how organized it looks. What do you cook on Sundays? I would love to get meal prep ideas from you, knowing that they would be equally awesome like your other ideas.
Where are the breaks????!
I just recently discovered your Med Student videos and I love them! Very informative, thanks!
Watching this made me sad you're so organized
Yay for scheduling time for your bible study 💕!!
When I go to college I will use these tipps, so aesome! I hope, that when I go to med school I will be as organized as you are

How do you stay so focused and organized? Because I tried making a study schedule but my motivation just disappeared after a week or so
Just do it. There is no secret trick
Hey where did you get that schedule template it looks really useful!
um a 2nd year medical student (from egypt) and ur videos are so inspiring and relaxing 😌, thanks 💖
Can you make a video on how you take notes for an upcoming lecture or how you review past lectures?
+loventennis16 Sure! I'll put it on the list of videos to do. Thanks for suggesting :)

Your schedule was so perfect
You inspired me to add ‘prayer’ to my schedule. Thank you
I am watching different study schedules.
But what actually i am finding is a break for a movie or stanning insta but its not in anyones schedule 🙄

wow! you are such an inspiration! even though your schedule is packed you prioritize days for God. :)
As a first year medicine student I also feel like giving up. It’s my third week and work keeps pilling up and I’m falling behind in all my clases. I feel unmotivated, my health is deteriorating and I’m only 18.

Very imformative. Thanks for sharing.
I just discovered your channel a week ago and have been watching lots of videos! I was so happy to see bible study on your Saturday schedule. What sort of bible study do you do?
You are an inspiration!

Jamie, how do you do it all?
Do you make some book outlining to study for the tests?

My med school start from 8:00 ends at 17:00 😅

do u study while travelling.. train or car or flight???
I hope to get there
Do you actually stick to this schedule everyday?
what is your schedule like for the first week of classes?
How many hours do you study at home every day ?
I notice there is no time for fun/socializing....
It's medical school.... That is your socializing..
+bubblewrapmonkey thats med school for you. she has saturday almost entirely off. that gives time to do stuff every now and then.
Yeah, classes are social time.
Welcome to post-undergraduate school
If you want to be the person who has a great social life and relies on others for their happiness then don’t go to medical school, simple.

Hi, thank you for your video. I was wondering how you have time to spend with your bf? i find it hard to balance between study and relationship
I love how you try your best to leave time for the Lord, despite our busy schedules we should always prioritize Jesus :)
is med school as hard as people say it is?
What school do you attend?
I envy your schedule man smh. I have five hour lectures everyday and two hours small groups twice a week. And they say we need life balance! Where?!
Is it unusual for students in med school to have a part time job?
God bless You! :)
what school does she go to?
Welcome in my channel guys
I didn't know that you're a christian :) big thumbs up
I like the website you mentioned "the firecracker way" and I search in Google, but I'd like to know your opinion if it's safe to give your personal information such as phone number.
And I love your videos
Are you an SDA?
no she says she goes to church on sundays
lol looking at this girl shows how unorganized I am... Somehow it works tho
You cook for week,so u just put everything in microwave, don't you
