Let's be honest. Doctors should be paid a lot, like a lot. Think about it this way. It is common practice ( in many countries in Europe, especially Balkan countries, to go to the doctor and leave some money, gifts, etc. My mom had cancer ( over 10 years ago and still cancer free, thank God) and she told me horror stories about the oncologists literally asking for money to treat patients better or treat them at all. That applies to nurses too. My godmother had a brain tumor and she had to pay 10 euros every day just so she could be changed. She often had seizures and fell out of the bed, peed herself, she was given 4 months to live, after she was misdiagnosed with epilepsy. I told her it doesn't sound like epilepsy from the beginning ( she had a seizure and she didn't remember anything for a bit, she was like on autopilot immediately after it), she had a hard time talking and remembering words and a decline in her vision. I told her that that sounds like a tumor. So she was treated for epilepsy, then she was transferred to a bigger hospital, where they didn't investigate this, just kept giving her the treatment. 3 months into the treatment, she is getting worse, so they do another scan and her tumor was the size of a golf ball. Rapindly growing and clear margins. They deemed her inoperable and told her she had 4 months to live. Now I begged her to go to someone else, since the first time she was misdiagnosed. I was living in the capital and had found the phone number of one of the best neurosurgeons in the country. She refused back then. When she heard that she had for months to live, she decided to stay there, announced it to the family, etc. 4 months go by and she was still very much alive. Yup. I asked her one more time to have someone else look at her scans. I spoke to someone, who took her in an ambulance to another city, where I found a surgeon and begged him to look at her scans. He accepted, met her in the morning, took one look at the scans and was apalled. Apalled that medical professionals could have done a better job, sooner. He informed my godmother that she will have deficits, unfortunately and because the margins are no longer clear, he cannot remove the entire tumor. He saw all the scans and told her that 4 months before, he could have removed it without a trace. She was in sugery 2 hours later, she was left with a speech deficit, as well as paralysis on the left side. Due to the paralysis, she is accident prone and broke her ribs and twice her arm. She fell down the stairs. She sometimes doesn't remember what certain objects are called, but she is still alive. The doctors who held her for 4 months, took a lot of money from her, the nurses too. My point is doctors and nurses should be paid enough that they don't have to take anything from patients, that they can survive and then some, that they can afford a vacation, home, children, etc. They deserve it. They have studied for years and years, then they study and learn some more during their entire life. New medical procedures, regulations and rules, appear almost daily. They are under constant pressure, people having expectations and hopes from them. They sacrifice a lot for other people, so they deserve a good pay. I would say, somewhere over 10000 euros a month would be reasonable for what doctors do, 10000 being the lowest pay, because there is a hierarchy in medicine too. Surgeons can make a lot more than that.
I am a fmg and we don't get paid in internship but surprisingly we pay to hospital for internship . Fortunately I got very lucky and I was earning 80k in a part time job during internship.
ok, so me being engineer with 1.5 years of experience is earning around 11 lakhs an year is probably earning more than lot of doctors... thats sweet...

Well , first of all welcome to this noble profession. Alot of misconception that people have is that you have to study long hours daily while you are in medical school. That is completely wrong because it is humanly not possible to study 8-10 hours daily in medical school. You will either end up depressed or you will burn out completelly. Understand that medical school will be the best time of your life. So while you study it is also important to evlove as a person. . Dedicate a good 2-3 hours FOCUSED ( meaning no phones , no youtube ) atleast. Then give your self a weekend off . work out and you will do fine

I am also from Karnataka ,i fell proud after hearing that word ವೈದ್ಯೋ ನಾರಾಯಣೋ ಹರಿ
Woahh congrats bro on that 25k subscribers

I'm from hubballi karanataka sir and I want to crack neet to get admission in KIMS! GOT A GOOD IDEA FROM YOUR VIDEO SIR
THANK YOU !
Really great videos sir. You’re an inspiration. ❤️ I am also a post mbbs intern. I am just curious to know which medical branch you want to pursue in your residency? & are you planning to give NEET 2021 or preparing for USMLE?
thank you for the info sir! im a mbbs recent graduate. please make a video on best countries to work or study after MBBS . thats would be so helpful! anyway loving ur videos :)
I think best may be very subjective. Most people opt for either US , Australia or Uk. I personally wanted to live in UK hence i did the PLAB exam. But ofcourse even Europe is a great place to work
I have joined MBBS this year. Is study very difficult? How many hours to study?
Congrats, Chayan! You’ll probably need to dedicate 2-3h/day. If you study regularly, you’ll enjoy the course very well :)
My opinion differs... Ask yourself how can you manage. Regarding RGUHS I studied. Just for last 40-45 days for university and passed it quite easily.
Buy my knowledge is limited to exam questions only. And talk to your seniors regarding the books to refer... It is very important to get proper books to study as per your requirement.
Then give your self a weekend off . work out and you will do fine
exactly the data i was looking for..!!
Hii Sir, I have a doubt...
How much does research papers written during ur mbbs helps u in ur CV. Like does it make getting the job easier or the pay higher?
This video was awesome!! Thanksss...please make a video of your whole medical journey too. what all exams you took, where you worked, the like
Really liked your way of talking and got a bunch of information...Thanks a lot...I also have a youtube channel , so your way of talking helped me a lot....

Doing private practice after MBBS is enough, or getting a MD/MS is necessary for specialization ? Plz do reply sir
MBBS is enough to be called as doctor and earning money but for more advancement MD/MS in the perticular domain can be helpful.
I think the doctor who is doing masters in Germany receives stipend which is much more than the salary of a junior doctor in India😁
How to deal with mental breakdowns during MBBS 😢
Don’t involve in friends and all social shits. Just you and your study. Make friends from other colleges. Not classmates.
