Before this interview with Katt Williams and Joe Rogan, in a previous conversation, Joe said we can talk about anything Katt wants to talk about. And respectfully, Joe did not ask personal questions about Katt's family or children or even celebrities. This was more about theory, cultural histories, the supernatural, religious concepts and the written word. So enjoyed their talk. Touching upon some subjects just enough to inspire the viewers watching this to dig deeper if they choose to. I suspect this conversation will eventually go viral because of the subject matter and the relaxed atmosphere of the conversation.

I agree - I think initially it isn’t as viral because the Club Shay Shay episode was more about “spilling the tea” and this one was more about exploring thought. Thanks for commenting - good to have you around!

It wasnt just tea it was a truth telling and setting the record straight. It was also enlightening because he unveiled why and how certain people make it which exposed the truth behind the illusion of power that celebrity presents. He also talking about how he was able to succeed through the pursuit of acquiring knowledge from a young age by reading😮 and the empowerment of running his own business as an entertainer. He also talked about it all in an intriguing, entertaining and passionate way. The energy was infectious. Both condos were interesting but the first conversations was more empowering I think for eveveyone who heard it which is why people are watching the club Shay Shay multiple times.

I can personally tell you the difference bc I have friends on both ends of the spectrum…on one side, I have friends who really don’t have anything of substance to talk about, like who’s screwing who, who got into an argument at work…blah blah…and these conversations absolutely drives me crazy, while on the other side, you talk about life, medicine, politics, life mysteries, space travel…etc etc you leave those conversations with an spark in your mind, and maybe a better understanding of life. One of the reasons why I listen so few on Shannon’s podcasts, you just don’t learn anything outside of gossip when you do. When I listen to Joe, I always leave knowing something more than when I came…and that’s always a plus in my book.

No need to overly complicate the truth.
Shannon Sharp's Brandy is 90 proof. Katt was drinking before the interview even started and they comment on it in the first few minutes. Katt was drunk on a podcast and ran his mouth about everything he normally wouldn't.
He was noticeably more sober on Joe's show and the interview was tedious as hell. Joe had to practically coax him through the interview and most of what he said was existential bulls*t.
Both interviews should tell you the same thing; That is why Katt doesn't do interviews or podcasts (usually). He's overly chatty and gossips when he's drunk and is boring and guarded when he is sober and a muthafuckin genius comedian when he is on stage.

I was a bit dissapointed in the interview. It was all soft ball conversations. I dont know if perhaps there were certain things they agreed to keep off the table, but it was not what I was expecting. Yes, I love a lot of the subject matter covered, but with the claims Katt was making, some of those really should have been discussed. Joe never even really addressed the comments made directly about him. I felt like there was a lot of missed opportunity here.

I also was surprised that they didn't touch on some of those topics. I know they hung out before the podcast and it makes me wonder if they cleared all the air off camera and just agreed to shoot the breeze during their convo. Thanks for commenting cause it is interesting.

The Club Shay Shay and Rogan interviews were intentionally different. Katt made clear at the beginning of the Club Shay Shay broadcast that he was there to address lies told on and about him by past guests on the broadcast. There's a reason Katt's interview yielded 61M views to date. Shannon gave Katt the platform to share his responses to prior things said about him and he came with receipts. That's, I suspect, why so many folk have watched it. Additionally, Katt doesn't do a lot of interviews.
Is it possible Rogan invited Katt to his broadcast because he saw Katt's viewership impact on Club Shay Shay? Katt is a very intelligent guy who did not allow himself to be thrown off by Joe's questions. Most other guests would have stumbled, etc. This was an unscripted interview where Katt displayed his exceptional improvisational skills as a communicator and intellect. He stayed on point, made his points, and corrected the interviewer in a non-threatening but decisive manner. Katt made the interview interesting.
Joe asked about Sodom and Gomorrah likely seeking to evoke a controversial response from Katt. Katt handled the question with ease and caught Joe offguard with his response. Joe inquiry whether it was the weed that was talking was disrespectful. Katt quietly said no and later informed Joe about the Emerald Table of which he seemed ignorant. When Joe read about the table he seemed geninuely surprised and amazed. Katt then asked him was the weed talking. That's how one deals effectively with a disrespectful question and questioner.
Katt did a YTube interview with Larry King a few years back. If one watches it, one sees that Katt isn't your ordinary comedian. He possesses a high IQ and often provides insightful and interesting responses to serious questions. Had anyone else been asked the same questions as Joe asked Katt the interview wouldn't have been nearly as interesting, informative, and smooth. Katt did Joe a favor coming on his broadcast and I suspect Joe and others know it.

I agree - the outcome was going to be different of each show simply because the hosts are different and the intent of the show is different. I tried to hit that by making a contrast between the truth telling on Shay Shay and the information presenting on JRE.

It’s interesting how you interpreted their weed comments as mutual joking when in fact it was a diss from Rogan whose ignorance was once again exposed by Katt who then forced him to eat that diss. Equally interesting is how you steered clear of Rogan’s racist menthol & Blk ppl comment which Katt rightfully called him out for as well.

I thought it started slightly awkward, they both seemed to be searching for a common thread and tentatively found one and stuck to it for 3 hours.
Knowing that they hung out before the interview. Kat still never seemed to be totally comfortable...I think Joe misread that for something else.
It was an interesting discussion because occult and mystic and alien talks always are...but it seems obvoius to me that they stayed on the periphery.

Katt is extremely intelligent and speaks in code that isn’t always clear. Joe is awesome and makes everyone feel comfortable to speak freely. I’m glad Chris is doing this breakdown because people don’t always get what they’re talking about: Great Job Chris!

@@GrettaPickett-xm2ot speaks in code = doesn’t make sense. A intelligent and articulate person doesn’t need to speak in code.

@@cyris8403 I feel your view is extremely biased as Joe Rogan is the one asking the questions Katt is responding to... but either way, certain information isn't for everybody. He's not speaking in code, and his delivery is very articulate. The thing is, he's speaking on topics that require a higher intelligence to comprehend it and that apparently does not resonate with you. What seems like codes to you is an exposure of your lack of intrinsic, higher intelligence. Something you will never learn in these Earthly universities nor will you receive a degree or accolade for. 🌟👁
