Purchased an older home with a Multi Code garage door opener. Had no idea of model number. Was able to watch video and immediately get everything working. Great tutorial. Thanks for the tip that 10 is entered as just 0.
Thank you for your youtube tutorial. I am helping my 75 yr old Aunt to reset her garage door opener. She has problem with memory. This has been helpful and easy to understand for her. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for posting this video. I went to about 5 other sites and couldn't figure it out. Your video was short, simple and most importantly worked. I appreciate it.
I would kiss you on the forehead if we ever met in person. Gate codes and garage door parameters make me a crazy person - so many “unspoken” procedures the companies expect the consumer to “know”.
Thanks for video - I reprogrammed my keypad but the tiny rectangular light on front label above the keypad does NOT turn off...ever, which drains 9V battery after a couple weeks. Any idea how to that light to turn off and stay off?
Will the 2nd part of this turotrial work if all I want to do is change the code to open the door? So, press Access Learn 2 Times, enter the previous secret code, then the new secret code?
Great video. Very strange that my remote only works during certain time periods during the day. Is there a time of operation setting on these receivers? If so how do I get rid of it? If there is not why does my Receiver work only during certain times of the day? The strange thing is I just installed a new receiver. Please help anyone. Thank you!!!
Hello, The keypad does not have any time features. In some cases, LED lighting can interfere with the remote controls. You may want to try turning off any LED lighting to see if that makes any difference.
You do not have to do that step, we recommend it as it gets you back to a clean starting point. Most people wait until the battery dies and need a full reprogram. If your keypad is working and you just want to change the code you can start from the access learn step and just change the code.
@@gatehousesupplies With a name like multi-code I was hoping it could. Oh well, thank you for the prompt response! I will be looking to order a second one.
f I take the battery out hold any button for 10 seconds, the unit will reset to default factory setting correct? or does that only reset if i hold the radio learn and access learn together for 10 seconds>? so all it takes for someone to gain access is to just reset the device??
+Dude...Are you sure?? If you take the battery out and push any key it will clear the memory. The factory code will be set back to 1234. you can then use that code to program the radio code back into the unit.
+Dude...Are you sure?? Yes correct setting it back to default will not open anything until you program in the radio code found by looking at the code switches inside your remote control.
+The GateHouse my remote doesnt have the dip switches instructions say to skip the radio part go directly to the access learn programing. but how is this connected to my receiver end? everytime i finish the access learn the key pad just flashes for like 20-30 seconds and when i try my new code, nothing works... any ideas? Im thinking i need to just reset everything including my remotes... or could my keypad unit be broken?
Thank you! 11 years later and still helping people 😄

I followed these instructions and it worked from the first time.
Thanks - your video corrected a frustrating omission in another one - pressing a button with the battery removed first made it work.
Thanks so much! Your instructions worked perfectly to pair my keypad with my Stanley opener.
Thank you for your time. Video is detailed easy to program the key pad.

Thank you. The whole 10 is 0. That solved my issue
When you open the battery dept. It touches the buttons and f's up the code.

Hello, You would have to replace the unit if that occurs.

Yes that is correct

So if I want to reprogram my keypad I need to take the battery out and hit any button to clear the memory?

@@gatehousesupplies Thank you for that little "gem" of advice, "Take the battery out and 'Hit any Key to clear the memory'"--solved my problem.
What if you followed every step and the gate doesnt open at all ? What am i doing wrong

thank you so much saved my ass
Ok... 10 is 0. But what is 11 and 12?
What is 11 and 12 if 10 is 0?
The Mullti Code remote only has 10 switches

ok, so the fail safe is that to gain access, one would still need the remote with the dip switch in order to "marry" the two devices. is that correct?
