Good little vid Lloyd, glad you’re back on the screen fit and healthy 👍👍👍
Cheers Kurt.
Lloyd great job explaining this ,
thanks for the tips on this. I'm enjoying all videos you send out to the world here ..
Lloyd I have to watch this again
Get wit it
Thanks man.
Great content Lloyd. Your a very good teacher! I’m a 62 yr old who shot for the first time a few weeks ago. I don’t know what I’m doing, but me thinks I’m hooked 👍✌️
Good man, and thank you.
Great to see you back mate 👍
Thanks 👍
What a great video as always you lloyd should be an ambassador for the sport. Hope you and your wife stay well and safe
Thanks Neil. Very kind :)
My club has just installed a 5 stand, this was great. Glad you are doing well and back in the saddle.
Thank you sir.
Great stuff, cheers Lloyd 👍
You are welcome. 😀
It's good to see you back Lloyd, we missed you.
Cheers Will.
glad to see you're doing better
Thank you.
Lloyd I'm happy that you are doing better and I hope your wife gets better. Sport trap looks like fun thanks for sharing it
Thank you Anthony.
shooting clays was always a mental game. this version seems very much like double trap in the respect of remembering the sequence of clays. challenging but, I bet so satisfying. good to see you
Thanks John.
I enjoy sportrap as I have the memory of a goldfish so it's more like a game shoot to me. Every bird is a new one 🙂
Lol I know what you mean.
Don't know much about clay shooting, so this is all interesting and useful stuff Lloyd. 👍
Glad you enjoyed it.
Great job Lloyd explaining
I love starting at peg 1. When you finish your sim pair eyes right to your opponents sim pairs that's the only key pair
that will give you some trouble.
Give it a go Cheer's Lloyd
Cheers man.
Great video Lloyd. Very informative and production standards have gone up!
Thank you Rob.
@@lloydyp just to let you know: I received a message earlier today from someone purporting to be you. It was obviously a scam but it might be an idea to let your subscribers know that there is an impersonator about!
Keep up the good work - your videos are a highlight of RUclips.
I’ve blocked the account.
Brilliant explanation. I've shot this once and it's a true mental challenge. It seems some shooters have good memories for the different targets and positions. 👌
Thank you.
@@lloydyp I think someone is trying to impersonate your account.
I had a weird message on here saying it was from you, but it isn't.
Comes from a mobile number?
It's popped up a few times on this post.
I keep reporting the posts but RUclips are crap at banning spam accounts.
Thanks for this video Lloyd, I've been fancying a go at Sportrap for a while after shooting some Compak in France but all my shooting colleagues in the UK only ever want to do sporting, (creatures of habit) Its a very quick round on your own ha ha
You are not wrong.
We shoot a similar Sports layout 5 stands 8 traps 3 Singles and 1 Double ( sim or report ) very challenging, for me anyway Enjoyed your video nice to see you back
Thanks Dan.
Loving the videos Lloyd wanted advice I shoot. DTL with a new miroku mk38 multichoked trap but want to take up sporting as well if I changed chokes would the gun be suitable
In PA this is called 5stand for the past 25-30 years. Now we have "Wildcat". Same setup just no menu, first one's a single out of a wobble trap and then 2 pairs, sometimes report, following, or simo. Keeps it really interesting!!
Have you ever shot a sim flush?
@@lloydyp if u meant "simo flush" yes-all different ways, together, apart, one from each direction like skeet doubles but forgot going through a hoop.
@@grizz6370 Great fun
I really enjoy Sportrap. Though I find it is taken far more seriously than a standard sporting competition because of the need for greater concentration. At least done here in the south anyway! Great content as always.
Thanks man.
Hope you're feeling better. Just getting over a month of Covid too. Still coughing
Aye it’s no fun.
I just subscribed I’m a fan of your work peace from Vermont maybe see you on the course eventually come to Vermont I have a beautiful air B&B you can bring your family and stay for free good places to shoot clays and be with your family
Thanks man that’s really kind. I’ve never been to Vermont but I’ve heard it’s beautiful.
Concentration is key. I lack it, mainly due to the fact that the bantz are awesome!!!
Fun is more important than scores.
@@lloydyp You're not helping! 🤣
Looks like a good way to spice up a trap & skeet facility. And all the shot should fall in the normal drop zone, facilitating reclamation.
Exactly
What happens if you’ve got no mates 😂. Great explanation.
Sport trap, it's very much a mind game.... However, if your married it's a walk in the park 🤣🤣🤣
I couldn’t possibly comment.
@@lloydyp Ah, so your good at marriage too 😉🤣🤣🤣
@@ddoherty5956 I am basically bossing it.
@@lloydyp 😎
Going to bisley with Ant tomorrow. 6 hr drive?
I’m currently in county mayo.
Term “Full use of gun”?
Single clay thrown, a kill is counted if you hit it with 1st or 2nd shot. Hence full use of gun.
Compack Sporting we call it
Compak is actually a different discipline.
