I have no idea why the neighbors would complain about her. She seems like such a pleasant person 🙄
The husband and wife truly deserve each other
I was thinking the same, she must be the terror of the neighborhood. Kids aren't safe playing out in their front yards with her barreling up the street.
There can only be one of us!
@@zacharyking1737 there is
Yeah, and I think you're being ironical. But I generally agree with your overall sentiment. Those two, in this video think that they're a power couple and thier overall demeanor is nothing more than a couple of bullies. Because her husband is a correctional officer.
However, I'm sure he's made it quite clear that he is, or in his mind he is, a police officer. So therefore, over time, they have intimidated and bullied the whole neighborhood.
In addition, she is nothing more than a frustrated, narcissistic, spoiled little Karenvolk. Oh yeah, in her teens and twenties. I bet, she was an attractive but spoiled little firecracker. She received a lot of attention because a lot of men wanted to light her fuse.
But when she hit that wall at 30. She slowly and methodically became more and more and more invisible to the world of men. And now, to get validation and attention, this is the kind of thing that she does. Yep, this is what happens to spoiled little girls, they turn into Karenvolks. And now, they're held accountable for their actions.
In this case I'm glad the a real police officer was involved, and now, this power couple is taken down a notch or two.
She specializes in conflict, anger management, and anxiety *counseling* .... Let that sink in.
I'm sure she earned that position over "other" more qualified people for some reason....
everything i have come to expect from years of government training
I particularly like the "Let that sink in" bit. Now we all get to have nightmares.
A pretty high percentage of people in the mental health field got into it to help themselves... unsuccessfully. I got a BA in psychology (as a second degree since it was really easy and didn't cost me anything extra) and I know this for a fact, at least at my university and the two people in my family that got sociology counseling masters degrees.
@@gametime2473 nearly every psych practitioner I've ever met has some underlying issues themselves.
The most mess up thing is that she is a LICENCED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR! They should be absolutely ashamed of themselves and the fact that they got away with any of this is a miscarriage of justice!
Most of people in psychology are there because they have issues and wanted to fix themselves.
Had a ex whos mother is a psychologist, ex got raped(she invited a dude over that others didnt trust, while we were still dating) so her mom was telling her how its her fault for being stupid (not entirely wrong but not the time to talk about that or throw accusations).

the shushing was probably the smartest thing he did this entire video. you shouldn't be flying off the handle at a cop when accused of a crime. de-escelation is always positive even if everything done after is moronic
@@volkswagenginetta The dumbest thing he did was ask for a "professional courtesy" and then try to threaten the officer that his department would be pulling their people over.
This reminds me of a time when I was working as a correctional officer and my neighbor tried to claim I intimidated them with use of authority while in my uniform after their son had hit the side of my vehicle damaging it. What actually happened is that I at first thought it happened when I was at work, but was able to rule that out. Then on my day off I checked my home cameras and noticed their vehicle came close to mine and made it move. With this I checked the car I knew my neighbor's son to drive and found proof of paint transfer from my vehicle (blue) on their bumper and tail light. I was wearing civilian clothes and knocked on the door, the son who was 18 answered and I asked him if he would come look at something. I showed him where the scuff marks were and how they lined up with the dent and marks on my vehicle then asked if he had insurance so I could file a report since I had camera proof he'd run into my vehicle. We exchanged information and I thought that was the end of it then went to file my claim and accident report via precinct.
A couple days later I had a police officer show up and thought he was there to look into the accident claim so came out to talk to him. Instead I was asked if I worked corrections and answered I did. He then went on to explain if I knew that meant I wasn't a certified peace officer prompting me to ask what the contact was about. I was notified that the neighbor's parents called saying that I had shown up at their door in uniform to intimidate their son into admitting he hit my vehicle when he hadn't. I frowned as I thought I had a good relationship with them then asked the officer if he would wait while I got my phone, since that is how I accessed my video and saved the clip. After showing the officer the clip, I then pulled up the camera footage of the day I spoke to the neighbor and showed him approximately 15 minutes of footage where I walked out of my door in civilian clothes, across the street, spoke to neighbor and then showed them where the transfer was on the vehicle. I then showed when we were done I went straight back inside still wearing civilian clothes. The officer then went across the street, spoke to the neighbors and gave them a warning about filing false reports. I was given a card incase anything further came from the incident. That day I stopped speaking to that neighbor and made sure to supply everything to my insurance as they attempted to file a counter claim saying I had run into their car and not the other way around. I also had to report this to my commanding officer just in case they tried to claim differently, to include supplying necessary information regarding both the traffic incident, and the officer that spoke with me regarding the claim of intimidation through authority. Those types of claims are taken very seriously and not only cost a person doing it their job, but also put a permanent mark on their record so they can't be hired back into the field again.
Just felt like sharing as it shows the opposite can happen where someone knowing the other works corrections may attempt to use that against them when something happens. It is a shame though when you see someone, whether corrections or police, off duty trying to assert any type of authority that they don't have to get out of a situation or someone else out of a situation through intimidation.
Wow!! It's a good thing you had surveillance outside your home. Those neighbours were pure trash, to not only refuse to correct their son who had done wrong, but to lie, and lie in such a way to destroy a man's career and life (if you didn't have proof) by being arrested. All of this over some paint transfer, which would buff out and MAYBE their rates might go up a few dollars. More than likely, not.
@hollygennaro5874 was a substantial dent in my driver door and paint scuff on their bumper. Their son was a horrible driver so they already had high rate because of him, but yeah. It was pretty out of left field they tried to go that far to get out of another accident he caused, but didn't help them since he got in another accident two days later in a parking lot. We had same insurance carrier so while they assessed that accident they were able to confirm the one with me since they were trying to say it didn't happen and that I was just looking for a way to get out of my own accident.
@@sundiver9074 You can believe that if you want, but it isn't made up.
@@sundiver9074 I don't need to, nor have I. You're the only one that seems to think it is necessary to discredit someone. You aren't obligated to believe it, but it did happen.
@@sundiver9074 Since you're the expert, what makes my claim a lie? What infallible reason, other than you believe it to be one, makes it so?
Is it because I posted it in a comment to a video of the exact opposite happening? Is it because I had camera proof? In this day and age cameras are everywhere, and home security systems aren't exactly uncommon in my area. Is it that the neighbor called the cops on me saying I was trying to claim authority I didn't have while wearing a uniform? What part is it you have a problem with that makes it a goal to discredit?
The point of my comment was to show how serious doing such is taken. Abuse of authority and intimidation of the public is something very clearly outlined in Code of Conduct policy. How any correctional or detention officer thinks they have any type of authority outside of their place of duty eludes me, especially when it is on something you must sign upon hire and on regular intervals. It is done to insure that those employed in such duties understand violating such policies can and, more often than not, do lead to termination along with permanent mark making you undesirable in similar jobs.

"Professional Courtesy" should NEVER be applied or even spoken between law enforcement entities. Doing so should be automatic loss of job and criminal charges.
They MUST be held to a HIGHER standard!
Agreed. It should be a professional courtesy to upcharge people when charged
Professional courtesy should be given by the officer when he realizes the person ( whoever they are cop or not) made a tiny mistake speeding two miles over the limit etc. but if it’s asked for they should be given penalties for every charge they committed.
Standard? Law enforcement servants aren’t even held to the standards expected of citizens. Qualified immunity means ignorance of the law IS an excuse.
Imo it should be applied only for rare cases when an officer is breaking the law in order to clearly save someone or stop a crime in a reasonable way.
The notion that Law Enforcement would be impervious or exempt from the very laws they enforce on the general public every day is truly insane. Anyone who supports such a notion shouldn’t be a cop. Period.
I think the problem is that a lot of cops look at law enforcement as if it’s just like any other job… like they don’t realize that they’re “the State.” All these douche bags probably post Don’t Tread On Me flags on their Facebook and then proceed to betray the very spirit of that flag by expecting to be given special treatment because their a state employee. one misunderstanding of the law, "Fighting Words" are still protected under the first Amendment, she has a right to say it. But in cases of self defense it is considered provocation, it's not the word that is 'breaking the law', it's that if someone reacted to the word they would be considered under Self Defense laws as the "fighting word' is considered enough for a 'first attack'.
It's like the Crowded Theater Fallacy, there has NEVER been a law about saying "fire" in a crowded theater, go ahead and look it up you won't find it. It's one of the things taught in Law School is that there is no such law. It's not the saying of Fire, it's the "inciting of a riot". If I say: FIRE! In a theater and no one reacts, no crime has been committed everything is fine. But if I shout: FIRE! and a people make a mad dash or riotous behavior and someone is hurt or wounded, or even if they are not, I am held liable, not because I shouted Fire, but because I incited a Riot. The word is protected by the first amendment, the consequences of my actions are not. Now like all Law it's nebulous and one Jury might find this while another finds that, but I just don't want you to get in trouble for commenting false law. No hate, I love your content and analysis.
I’ve seen this video before, these people are probably the talk of the neighborhood at every dinner table every day.

My wife just called you the N, word I once again insist on my professional courtesy. Have to wonder what planet these hemorrhoids are living on ?
Depends on the law tbh. DUI? Absolutely. Speeding? Not so much, at least not on the law enforcement side. The only reason that law exists is to prevent dangerous speeders, but law enforcement not only have high speed training, they drive thousands of miles a month for their job, so the safety aspect is a much smaller concern since they are less likely to wreck at high speeds.
Too bad one of the highest cause of mortality for cops is car accident. Kinda shoots your comment in the ass. Getting shot at by a perp is actually quite low on the death scale. Yet they shoot, taze, detain and torture people in the name of officer safety.
Exactly. Amen. The saying "No one is above the law" should hold true for those who enforce it. Tired of seeing it NOT be administered on those who enforce it and instead be given special treatment more often than not. >:/

"professional courtesy" is a weird term. Being a professional would mean doing your job I would think.
No, see, it's a different use of "professional" and "courtesy." They are in the same profession, and the adjective for of "profession" is "professional." They give each other "courtesy" the way you get a "courtesy" water bottle or something.

It leaves me with some anxiety to know this verbally abusive rude liar of a woman actually did get out of the ticket.
The truth of the matter is she likely didn't speed past the stop sign "that time". Neighbors have been complaining about her and have recorded her. That cop was lying in wait and was going to issue a ticket whether she sped past it or not. I have a feeling that although she is guilty in the past, that either the cop couldn't prove she did right then or she could prove she didn't. A more likely scenario is she knew the cop was there and actually obeyed the traffic laws. However, this cop was going to ticket her for her past behavior based on complaints from neighbors. That woman KNEW she would win in court. I'm willing to bet she had film running to prove her innocence.a
Finally, I'm not saying she doesn't deserve it. Her neighbors are sick and tired of her speeding through the neighborhood running stop signs. I personally don't care about words. I was called every name under the sun when I was a child from Cr*** Head to N****r. They are just words and people need to chill out.
Agreed, it's outrageous the court failed to uphold that excellent cop's legitimate traffic ticket. As is her claimed professional expertise in the areas of psychology and psychotherapy. You don't need a PhD to know she's a moron with extreme narcissistic personality disorder, and anger-management issues. 'Physician heal thyself' springs to mind!
Though for two such unappealing, unimpressive people, they certainly live well. I wonder if they are living rather less comfortably, since he lost his correctional career? I doubt working as a security guard at 'Dollar Tree' pays quite so handsomely...

I am a retired police officer of 31 years. Early in my career, I made the mistake of marrying a woman like this. Don’t ask me why.
I was supervising the midnight shift and had walked outside, just after 7 AM to get my newspaper. I heard a siren in the distance, that was getting closer to my house. About that time, my wife came around the corner, illegally, parked, and got out of her car. The officer rounded the corner right behind her. He was a man I knew well, and with whom I worked often.
He apologized to me immediately as she tried to walk past me. I reached out and hooked my arm into hers, and told her, “the officer needs to speak with you. “
She responded with, “I don’t have anything to say to him! “
I told her, “then don’t say anything, but you’re going to listen. “
I then asked the officer, “how fast was she going? “
He replied, “50 in a 30.”
I then instructed him, “write her a ticket. “
He wrote her the ticket, and when she came in the house, she told me, “I’m not paying this ticket. “
I responded by saying, “I don’t give a shit if you don’t pay the ticket. Just understand that a warrant will be issued for your arrest. If you don’t contact the court and make some sort of disposition. “
She paid the ticket.

of their attitude, some days was hard to bear. I remember one of the physicians when I had to tell him
that though he felt he was God, he was just a man. He also made clear that because he was an invasive
cardiologist he deserved special treatment. I reminded him that society did not beg for him to go to
