Some teams that I think got left out. 2004 colts - manning threw a then record 49 touchdowns and and James ran for 1500 yards. Also they had three 1000 yard receivers. 1990 bills. Probably the Bills best team. No huddle offense was hard to stop. 2011 Packers. Rodgers had one of his best seasons and the Packers only lost one regular season game. 1998 Broncos. 2000 yard rusher in TD and great trio of pass catchers in Mccafrey, Smith, and Sharpe. Also that Elway guy was pretty good too.
Honorable mention: 1971 Cowboys. Their raw point total looks low by today's standards; but at the end of the day, they averaged 29 points per game (including five 40 point games) in the most defense heavy era in NFL history, and followed it up with a Super Bowl title.
The ‘98 Broncos offense could have easily made this list. They scored over 500 points that year (gained over 6,200 yards, 3rd in the league in ‘98) and they were well balanced with John Elway and Terrell Davis rushing for over 2,000 yards. And yes they won it all in ‘98.

The patriots 2007 season was perfect. Won every game up until, of course, the superbowl where they took a fat L. So many records were broken in that season, if they won the superbowl that year they would be #1 no doubt
Not discrediting moss but there were multiple games where the refs would give the patriots free yardage for pass interference but the dbs would actually just make a good play Not blaming moss for that but since that was Bradys favorite target that's where alot of flags were thrown
You have to realize about the 1999 Rams and the Greatest Show on Turf legacy, prior to them there were only a handful of teams in NFL history that scored over 500 points (83 Washington, 94 Niners and 98 Vikings for example)...then all of a sudden they score 500+ points for 3 straight seasons which was unheard of at that time. Also, no other quarterback besides Dan Marino had thrown 40+ touchdowns in a season...then Warner did it. Back then it was unheard off, nowadays 40+ touchdowns in a season is the norm.
Facts...3 in a row is tough. 01 they were on track to break every seasonal statistical category in NFL history. Warner's thumb got broken and that was that. 3 yrs in a row was insane though.
I whole heartily agree sir!! The K-Gun Bills of the early 90s...and even the Run-n Shoot Warren Moon Oilers of the late 80s and early 90s should be #2 and #3 respectfully!! This list is a joke!!
Gotta give it to the 1950 Rams. 5400 Yards of offense -=-3700+ Passing and 31 passing TD in 12 games!!! Get this -- they scored 466 pts in only 12 games! That's crazy.
paysonfox88 You are right give credit where its due don't forget BOB BOYD he was the deep threat for those Rams teams he was a NCAA 100 yd dash champ 9.6 he had a career high 1212 yds averaged 21.0 per catch career high 23.1!!!! Boyd was the ORIGINAL BULLET BOB
Who here thinks that the 2013 Denver Broncos proved that Defense wins championships??? Seahawks Legion of Boom was one of the greatest defenses ever, and they caught Manning on his worst day ever.
I knew how that Super Bowl was going to go when I saw that ball go over Peyton Manning’s head. Let’s face it, the Seahawks Legion of Boom defense punked that finesse offense of the Broncos.
@Harry Engel, Hell no they didn’t match up with the Seahawks. That Broncos offense was just way too finesse and not physical enough for that Seahawks defense.
@@Jmndmb32 Yeah, but they were the worst team of the Greatest Show on Turf. Why? Their defense was absolutely terrible. That 2000 Rams squad was completely carried by their offense because their defense was about as efficient as wet cardboard.
No Manning and Colts? They always come off as the most offensive team every season. I'm not even a fan of them, but they're who comes to mind when I think of offense
@Harry Engel thank you. I always feel like he gets overlooked cause of Manning and Harrison and Wayne. But the Edge was crucial to that. As well as Dallas Clark. But people only talked about Manning to Harrison.
They never really put up the numbers that the 07 patriots did or the 13 Broncos. They were good teams, but the best 00s offense was the Pats so their sort of forgotten.
@@grnnt123 The Patriots were better easily, they piled so many points on early in games they'd have easily outscored the Broncos if they were putting the pedal to the metal every quarter.

Harry Engel The 1986 Giants were very good. Beat the 49ers 49-3, Redskins 17-0, and Broncos 39-20 with garbage time score, but they only gave up 3 yards in the third quarter, completely shutting down Elway when the game was on the line. @@animemaster4861 as a seahawk fan, i can tell you i rank that superbowl defensive performance behind the chicago bears of the 1985 (imho the best defensive unit ever) and the 2001 Ravens. @@ambulanza I agree that's why I feel the Seahawks 2013 defense being ranked only at number five is kind of a snub because you're right the 85 bears in the 01 Giants didn't beat nearly as good a team in the super bowl far as I'm aware the 2013 broncos set records they're the highest scoring offense they sent numerous records and yet they just failed at the super bowl
Malikai Perkonington Yeah honestly all of these top ten NFL videos seem old. The NFL has just progressed so fast, similar to the modern technology today.
"The Patriots lost the Super Bowl so we have to make them #3." Makes sense, until #2 is the Broncos who didn't just lose by a field goal, they lost 43-8. As measured by points per drive the 07 Patriots are the highest octane offense of all time and it's not even close. 3.55 ppd when the next closest is 3.15.
Yea I think they were lazing in picking between 2 and 3. The Broncos put up slightly better numbers across the board but lost 3 regular season games, and were blown out in the super bowl
pretty pathetic when you're so biased you have to use made up stats categories just so you can name your team #1. i mean "points per drive", what the hell is that? i googled it and big surprise, vast majority of results come from reddit, probably people doing the same thing. nfl doesn't mention it anywhere and there are no records for it.
@@herculesbrofister265 It's real simple math, offensive points scored divided by offensive possessions. Pretty clear metric as to how efficient an offense is. Anyway there's a dozen more categories actually tracked by the NFL where the 07 Patriots were more efficient than the 13 Broncos and you still didn't address the fact that the Broncos lost 43-8
@@herculesbrofister265 points per drive...if you understand football you'd realize that if a team is saddled with a defense that isnt really good their offense wont get the ball or score as much as it could if their defense is constantly creating a lot of 3 and outs or turnovers...Under Belichick the Patriots have always employed a bend but dont break defensive scheme to begin with, and in 2007 their defense was somewhat if not heavily dependent on their offense, opportunistic and talented at some positions but aged and weak-lacking sound depth even-at several other positions. That was not a great defense, not even as great as their 2007 def stats would indicate because in many games by halfway thru the 2nd qtr the offense had scored so much that the defensive players were able to pin their ears back and pursue sacks jump hurried and forced routes etc...pts per drive is a more accurate way of measuring which offense was the best scoring offense than pts per game/season total... Frankly I dont think the 07Pats had the best offense ever....I think the 99Rams GSOT for that 1 season while Vermeil was their HC and was able to keep Mike Martz restrained from his own worst impulses and tendencies was the best offense ever...Their QB wasnt one of the best ever overrall but for 1 season he played about as well as anyone could hope to esp given the era/rules in place...What he lacks that Brady provides is more than made up for by that ridiculously fast and quick recieving core and most importantly by M.Faulk...The Pats never had a weapon like him neither did denvers offense or the 98Vikings...Maybe they didnt set the pts record but they scored 500+ and won the SB...Cant say the same about any unit Brady or Manning won the SB with. As great as the QBs value is he cant overcome the fact things when his line can be dominated and his WRs and running game can be simultaneously marginalized/contained...There were too many weapons on the Rams to cover/account for them all...Someone was singled up or had a mismatch, and if you went dime to try and combat that faulk was good for 5yds up the middle most of the time. Pats won SB36 because Martz didnt give him enough carries and became so predictable as their HC with Faulk that the Pats defensive approach hinged from 1 play to the next upon where Falk lined up...If he lined up under center they played the run...If he lined up offset and obviously if split out wide they assumed it was a pass play...
"Waterfield reaches down into his bag of tricks for an old 'Waterfield Special'..." is absolutely hilarious to me ... those old time guys definitely knew how to put that extra spice onto commentating
Broncos might of lost the super bowl in 2013 but their were key injuries for them that led to them loosing and the fact that they scored 606 points which is the only team ever to do that in my opinion makes them the best offense ever
The year the falcons went to the superbowl they had one of the best offenses that i have ever seen. I still cannot believe the patriots pulled of that comeback. It took brady in his final 4th quater form to do it
@'Echo' That is true. They learnt the hard way that defense wins championships, but they drastically changed their team in a matter of two years. Impressive. That's John Elway's efficiency showing through. He's a great member of the Broncos even after retiring as QB.
Offense can't score much if the defense stops em. Just saying, these are the 10 best offenses all time and most of them never ended up with titles. There's a reason "Defense wins championships" became a saying.
The scariest thing about the Rams was in 2000 they were even better and had it not been for injuries were on pace to obliterate every offensive stat in history. Look at those numbers before Warner got hurt. Unbelievable.
The San Diego Chargers went 14-2 in the regular season, set the all-time rushing TD record (28TDs, 1804 yards by LT) , and were stopped in the playoffs by an injury to HOF LaDainian Tomlinson and a QB, Philip Rivers, on one leg, losing by 3 points to the eventual SB winners.
You got it a lil mixed up. In 2006, SD did go 14-2, they were huge super bowl favorites and were the #1 team in football with the best offense and one of the best defenses, LT wasnt hurt, he had a really good game, especially in the pass game. Rivers wasn't hurt either..yet They lost in the divisional round to 11-5 NE, despite being the better team, they just had horrible luck and a couple of freakish choke plays. (Especially when marlon mcree intercepted brady on 4th down with 5 mins left, but then got stripped and fumbled it away 2 seconds after, giving NE a 1st down) Rivers led his team down to a 52 yarder for the tie in like 40 seconds, & nate Kaeding (who missed 2 FGs & cost them a playoff game vs the jets in 04, & also missed 2 or 3 FGs vs the jets in the 09 playoffs too) missed it, despite being the #1 ranked kicker in 2006. The next year in 2007, LT was hurt and Rivers had a torn ACL, gates was hurt and Merriman banged up as well, & they had to face the undefeated super patriots in Foxborough in the AFC champ game, they lost by 10 or 11. Their defense did great but ne England's defense gave SD no hope.
49ers in '94 should be in the top 5. They had so many weapons on offense. Also the '89 49ers. Broncos had the #1 ranked defense for that year and the 9ers blew them out 55-10 in the SuperBowl.
That 1994 49ers team could have scored 600+ points if they really wanted to, but George Seifert was pulling out their starters sometimes as early as the 3rd quarter when they were running up the score in the first half of games. Elvis Grbac played in 11 games, most of those appearances were they got sacked 40-8 by the Eagles in Week 5. After that, the 49ers were off to the races.
that 94 team was very good. in preparation for the super bowl vs San Diego , I forget who made the comment but the football never touched the turf. that's a pretty impressive stat.
Exactly what happened with the K-Gun offense with the 90-93 Bills. They ran every defense ragged until the Super Bowl when their opponents each had two weeks to come up with a defensive plan.
Lol it’s whatever the refs let the defense get away with now a days... back when football was football, the defense could control a game. Now it’s all about fantasy numbers and the refs dictate the game more than ever.
Not just that, they were 14-2 in the regular season, losing both games by a combined 4 points, and not only did they win the Superbowl 55-10, but they outscored their opponents in the playoffs 126-26. I believe their offense was ranked #1 that year and the defense somewhere in the top 5. ESPN.com named them the best single season team of all time, as they dominated their opponents on both sides of the ball that year, also outscoring everyone in the 4th quarter 128-38.
Well this is about the highest powered offense's so they must have seen a reason to keep this one off that list. Anyway you look at it we could probably all sit around for years bringing up other teams for this list which is why I don't take them all that seriously to start with, just a bit of fun.
As good as the ‘94 49ers offense was really the ‘88-‘90 49ers offense was even better. That team won back 2 back Super Bowls and should’ve 3 peated had Joe Montana had not gotten injured and Roger Craig fumbling the ball. That squad had Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, John Taylor, Roger Craig, Tom Rathman and a great offensive line.
They got it right with the '99 Rams. They are the highest scoring team to ever win the Super Bowl. And of the top 10 teams that scored the most points in a season, they're the only ones to actually win the SB.
Chris Kreager they also had one of the easiest roads to the super bowl ever and were bailed out against the Bucs. 2001 Rams>1999, there’s a reason why they never won the super bowl again despite having a better offense in 2000 and a better overall team in 2001
Actually the 2013 Broncos are the highest scoring offense ever. I think they averaged about 38 points per game, and as far as I know are the only offense to ever score 600 points in a season
Brees is one of the best ever, anyone who knows anything about him or football since 2000 knows it but it's not that he's under appreciated but that the conversation of his extraordinary greatness goes like this, "It's Drew Brees." What more needs to be said?
Absolutely. Fewer championships than Brady, a weaker arm than Rodgers, not the coach on the field that was Manning but he's in the same class without doubt. A true winner with amazing stats
So what about Buffalo and the 4 strait years they went to the Superbowl. They didn't win but that offence was so good and they basically rewrote how to run hurry up offence. Also they would run hurry offence whenever they wanted and for most of the game. You talk about innovation, and I think Buffalo should be on this list.
Though the Broncos got blown out, they faced a top 5 defense of all time. The Pats faced like the 20th ranked defense of the 2007 season. I mean seriously there's no reason for the Pats to be that flat during the Super Bowl.
Harry Engel If the 98 Vikings are better than the 98 broncos because they scored more points then the 13 broncos are better than everyone because they scored more points
@@drakebudasz8837 facts , and if they would of made it to that superbowl which they didnt they would of lost to Elway and Td and company lol 98 super bowl champs never can take that away lol
That Vikings loss is not solely on Anderson. Vikings D could have stopped Atlanta but instead allowed the game-tying TD drive. They didn't stop then in OT either.
Yep. And honestly I get so frustrated when people put a loss on a missed kick. Regardless of the circumstances The fact of the matter is, if you’re winning or losing a game on a field goal, the rest of your team failed to do their jobs somewhere along the line
At 38.9PPG, had they played a 16 game season, they would have scored 621 points, all without the rules being skewed in favor of the offense. Let that sink in.
I know. That's amazing how they were blowing teams out but just like the majority of these high offenses, they lost the Championship and didn't put anywhere near as many points.
In 1982, the Chargers played insane. Dan Fouts was on pace for over 5,000 passing yards, and Wes Chandler had over 1,000 receiving yards in 8 games. There would be more appreciation of this offense if there wasn't a strike shortened season.
I feel as though they should have mentioned that during this video. On pace, as much as I love saying it, doesn't mean jack. At the rate the Rams was going in 01 they were set to shatter every seasonal NFL record EVER! Man my boy Kurt broke his thumb and was never the same. I swear I feel you.
95 Lions can make a case here..Mitchell had over 4300 yds with 32 tds, Moore and Perriman combined for the most receiving yds between 2 wrs on the same team in nfl history, and Sanders still had 1500 rush yds with 11 tds.
Another crazy fact about brees and that 2013 offense, he threw for 5,300 yards, and still didn't have a single pro bowl reciever. In fact, until Michael Thomas he hadn't had a pro bowl reciever in his time with the saints
The funny thing is that peytons 49 TD season was almost more impressive. It took Brady and Peyton other season all of the games to do that. In his 04 season he only played the first drive of like the last 3 games. He could of thrown more
Weren’t exactly a scoring machine, though. They were more physical and methodical and wore their opponents down with Emmitt Smith. Not to mention that they were a complete team. They didn’t have to run up the score to win.
@@effend446 they could run up the score plenty of times. You also have to realize that back then your QB didn’t throw nearly as much as they do today. Shotgun formation alone was very uncommon to see throughout a game. Then again why the hell would you throw when you have the best back in the NFL running for you with probably the greatest o-line of all time. Not saying that you are saying this but it drives me crazy when people say “yeah its pretty easy to get all of those yards when you have the best o-line” 1. So what every other team has the opportunity to build their lines up but instead they play for last place every year and ruin a talented kids life. 2. If you watch Emmitt smith’s highlights almost all of them are Emmitt doing something amazing. Not always the o-line. Hell they almost scored the most points in superbowl history and would have had it not been for Leon Lett. Granted that superbowl had probably one of the best Defenses of all time with several defensive scores.
@@garretthorsch8143 yeah like even though berry is the goat in my opinion there is a strong case for Smith. Just having a good o-line doesn't make a running back. Dallas should have been on this list cause literally having the best o-line and top 2 or 3 at least running back ever is literally almost unbeatable.
How can you guys not have the 2011 Packers? They scored 560 points in the regular season, Aaron Rodgers set the highest passer rating in NFL history, and they went 15-1.

Most of these great offenses were stopped in the Superbowl due to historic defenses. The 2007 Patriots were slowed to a crawl by the NY Giants and lost as a result. Even then -- it took a helmet catch to do them in. The 1984 Dolphins were held to 16 pts against the Historically great 49ers and Ronnie Lott. They lost in a blowout I believe that the 1950 Rams were beaten in the NFL Champ. game by the Cleveland Browns, And the 2001 Rams were slowed down enough by the Patriots defense that they too were beaten. That means that the old saying "defense wins championships" is fairly accurate.
Just gonna act like 2016 High powered Falcons offense never existed. 33.8 pts per game. I know everyone hates the Falcons, but damn, just keep it real! That offense was incredible!
Yep dark times right now in Atlanta but Dann Quinn will be outta here and we will get back on track the last person that i have hope in in this Organization is Arthur Blank and i assume he will hire a decent coach to teach this roster some technique and blitz more than once every 2 drives.
14:45 You can't judge Redskins off the SB if most teams didn't make it to SB. One of the winning SB teams set TD pass record in the game 49 pts 94' 49ers. In the SB NE had 14 pts and Broncos had 8 pts with rule changes since 1983. I think points per game needs to be higher criteria 1950s Rams played 12 games & had 38 ppg.
People forget the 1961 oilers. Before the 1983 redskins, they scored more points Than anyone else. 513, in 14 games. George blanda threw a then record 36 touchdowns
You’re stupid the 2013 Broncos had the best offense better than the Patriots. More touchdowns, passing yards, and points, destroying every record Brady had that season. Pats and Rams should be numbers 2 and 3
Ironic Zombie interesting so point differential matters more than points? Last I checked this list was about OFFENSE. What does an offense have to do with point difference? Dumb ass
Paul Fedorowicz and less points per drive, less yards per drive, time per drive, a cupcake schedule as well as not impacting the league at all unlike the 2007 Patriots. It’s disrespectful to have them ahead
Yeah I agree. The fact that in 2000 they set a then NFL record for most passing yards by a team in a season with Warner being out for 5 games says a lot about there offensive prowess
They were amazing. Thurman Thomas is so under rated,& their run is so underappreciated. I do still remember the 1991 AFC title game. I thought but my Broncos had a good run, but would get handled fairly easily. I was stunned to see both defenses dominate. Bills defense won it with a pick 6,& our kicker missed 3 or 4 fgs, in 10-7 loss. Our defense held 1 of the greatest offenses in history (Id put them somewhere at the bottom of the top 10) to 3 points essentially..in their house,& still lost. Rarely did a defense deserve so much better. But the Bill defense was amazing that day also. And ya likely saved us another SB loss. But Im not that guy. Id rather go to the SB every year,& lose everytime..than to not go at all. I totally respect what Buffalo did. They get more grief than teams who never sniffed the SB, or even the playoffs,& thats ridiculous. Nobody looks down on an Olympic Silver medalist..but in team sports they do, for some reason. I look at it the same way with the Broncos of the late '80s. Getting blown out in 3 SBs sucks. But making 3 out of 4 SBs is an amazing achievement,& deserves more credit, than scorn. And all 3 of those Bronco teams, lost to far better teams. 1990 Bills were better than the Giants,& should have won. But the next 3 yrs, you lost to historic, All time great teams-who were just better teams. No shame in that at all.
Best one year team ever. People don't realize that team was two single plays from undefeated. A 4th and 28 against the lions and a missed field goal against the Titans. The 3rd loss was the season finale and the third stringers scored 31 points and lost 31-38. if they were 15-0 they would have run the table.
I've been binging these Top 10s while playing Madden and I honestly did not expect to see and hear Flula Borg! If you don't know who he is, you need to. He's one of the funniest new comedians out there and he's on his way to make it big!
What about the 1992 Bills? Jim Kelly in the famed K-Gun offense (which Brady and the pats copied). Keith McKellar and Pete Metzelaars and TE and Andre Reed, Don Beebe, and James Lofton receiving. Squirmin’ Thurman Thomas and Kenneth Davis on the ground. That was an offensive juggernaut
This list should be titled: The Top 10 Most High-Powered REGULAR SEASON Offenses in NFL history. If one goes by points scored in the playoffs, the most high powered offense in NFL history belonged to the 1992-1995 Dallas Cowboys. In that 4 year period, the Cowboys were 10-1 in the playoffs and they scored 27 or more points in all 11 playoff contests. Starting with their win over the Eagles in the 1992 NFC Divisional Playoffs, the Cowboys scored 34, 30, 52, 27, 38, 30, 35, 28, 30, 38, and 27 points. To put that incredible run in perspective, the 1999 Rams only scored 11 points in the NFC Championship Game and 24 points in the Super Bowl.
Well of course they would have to do a revised edition of these and maybe knock out one of the teams. But this was done when Alex Smith was still the quarterback.
0:00 The 1994 San Francisco 49ers. 2:54 The 2011 New Orleans Saints. 5:20 The Don Air Coryell Chargers 8:48 The 1950 Los Angeles Rams. 11:54 The Fun Bunch! 15:12 The 1984 Miami Dolphins. 18:12 The 1998 Minnesota Vikings. 21:57 The 2007 New England Patriots. 25:40 The 2013 Denver Broncos. 29:16 The Greatest Show on Turf!
Because they only scored like 13 more points than the Saints and the Saints set the NFL record for passing yards, total yards, first downs, completion percentage. A lot of the Packers points came from an opportunistic defense. Rodgers was godly that year though

See they used to do these top 10s back in the late 2000’s. This exact same cut scene style, the exact same commentary. Times have changed, this was meant for TV ad breaks and it’s a tired style of documentary. I just realized that the ‘07 Pats and ‘16 Warriors had almost the exact same season

One takeaway an elite defense with an average offense is more likely to win a championship than an elite offense with an average defense.

Well the 2007 patriots also had the best defense that’s why they went 16-0

Lol that's what Denver had to learn and created the best D ever in sb50
@'Echo' That is true. They learnt the hard way that defense wins championships, but they drastically changed their team in a matter of two years. Impressive. That's John Elway's efficiency showing through. He's a great member of the Broncos even after retiring as QB.
TheKuroiSheep or maybe it's a team all together that wins championship since the offence that scores.

You got 06 regular season mixed up with 07 postseason
The 2006 Chargers got screwed by Marlon McCree.
The Run and Shoot Houston Oilers should have definitely been on this list. Those guys were just downright lethal.
49ers in '94 should be in the top 5. They had so many weapons on offense. Also the '89 49ers. Broncos had the #1 ranked defense for that year and the 9ers blew them out 55-10 in the SuperBowl.
Trenton I agree 89 was an offensive juggernaut with Montana, Rice and Craig I love the 94 team but I would say 89 was a more intimidating offense

How the Buffalo Bills K-Gun offense didnt make this list is absurd!
And they had Faulk, Orlando Pace and alot better run game than the 2 teams they beat out.

Brees played in a dome along with Manning the majority of their careers, not impressive.
Exactly. Like I said not ONE MVP is ridiculous. Should’ve atleast gotten it on 09
So what about Buffalo and the 4 strait years they went to the Superbowl.

As soon as I saw the 95 49rs I knew this list was dumb.
I agree.
Its crazy Moss played for 2 of the top 3 best offenses of all time. GOAT
And Welker. Wes Welker GOAT.
@@hitek9too255 welker and Edelman surely one of the best slot receivers of all time
I agree with the 99 Rams because that team that year seemed like it could up 21 to 30 points on even the best defense.
Lmao I think we could've did without the weird European guy
nah he's hilarious
abdikadir hashi not
Big Al no doubt lol
hes german lol
Lol. He was the best one on the show. "How did he play with this primate on his back?" Hahahahahaha
Get rid of the comedian. Thanks.
which one
The first one.
Colin Northrup all of them the old nfl network top from 2007-20012 were way better. Then 2013 came around they started adding all these dumb ass comedians and these models and actresses actors and started sucking especially the editing with the dumb ass cakes being crushed and watermelons in the stupid ass cheerleaders at least to me it does.
Exactly.
"comedian" he isn't funny lmao
2005-06 Colts? They were unreal. That's coming from a steelers fan
Scoring 8 points against the Legion of Boom is more impressive than scoring 14 points against a 10-6 Giants team.
Facts
This should be a 6 or 7 minute video like damn how much can you cram between teams
I’d still have to say the Tom Brady led patriots with moss was the best offense. Getting to watch that insane level of play was so cool to see
What about the 1990 Buffalo Bills offense
Most of these great offenses were stopped in the Superbowl due to historic defenses.
The 2007 Patriots were slowed to a crawl by the NY Giants and lost as a result. Even then -- it took a helmet catch to do them in.
The 1984 Dolphins were held to 16 pts against the Historically great 49ers and Ronnie Lott. They lost in a blowout
I believe that the 1950 Rams were beaten in the NFL Champ. game by the Cleveland Browns,
And the 2001 Rams were slowed down enough by the Patriots defense that they too were beaten.
That means that the old saying "defense wins championships" is fairly accurate.
Just gonna act like 2016 High powered Falcons offense never existed. 33.8 pts per game. I know everyone hates the Falcons, but damn, just keep it real! That offense was incredible!
28-3
@@Spartan265 has nothing to do with the video lil buddy.
Yep dark times right now in Atlanta but Dann Quinn will be outta here and we will get back on track the last person that i have hope in in this Organization is Arthur Blank and i assume he will hire a decent coach to teach this roster some technique and blitz more than once every 2 drives.
They were underrated (kinda) but no.1 is not even close for them.
Your comment makes no sense.
The 94 SB was the NFC championship game.
People forget the 1961 oilers. Before the 1983 redskins, they scored more points Than anyone else. 513, in 14 games. George blanda threw a then record 36 touchdowns
Drew Brees should have at least 3 or 4 rings by now if Payton had fixed the defense earlier.
Yep
Brees would have won 3 or 4 if the chargers kept him .
Nope 2009 dosnt count sorry but dont cheat
@@michaellee5078 hitting hard is cheating?
Yeah you right not the defense elite to late
04 Colts snubbed, Manning threw 49 broke Marino’s 30 year old record in only 400 attempts
I love how every team or player mentioned in any of these videos "revolutionized the game or position they played".
5:06 the announcer called darren sproles a "slippery lil super smurf" LMAO!!
I'm so glad you mentioned this. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Chargers made it to the Superbowl in 1995 fact check urself please
11:48 A touchdown aerial! Lol 😂
What about 02 Raiders
6,237 yards
366 first downs
4,475 passing yards
26 passing TDs
1,762 rushing yards
21 rushing TDs
I’m all honesty Patriot 07 should’ve been number 2 and the broncos number 3. Patriots didn’t get blown out like the broncos
Tackler12 this was about the full season. Broncos had more TDs, yards and points.
You’re stupid the 2013 Broncos had the best offense better than the Patriots. More touchdowns, passing yards, and points, destroying every record Brady had that season. Pats and Rams should be numbers 2 and 3
SoftServeDonuts but the 07 Pats dominated stronger opponents during their season and still own the most point differential for a season
See how a lot of these teams didn't win the superbowl, shows offense doesn't win games, defense does.
Greatest show on turf was fun to watch.....even as a Packer fan. They were MUST see.
Yeah I agree. The fact that in 2000 they set a then NFL record for most passing yards by a team in a season with Warner being out for 5 games says a lot about there offensive prowess
The 1990 Bills should be on here
Why? They were stopped 4 straight times!
@@joonpark2135 Half of the teams on the list weren't SB winners. The Bills were more multidimensional than a few of the teams on the list.
"Wide right"
3 words kept that from happening; Bill fricken Belichick.
Loved the 99 Rams. Was so much fun to watch!
Best one year team ever. People don't realize that team was two single plays from undefeated. A 4th and 28 against the lions and a missed field goal against the Titans. The 3rd loss was the season finale and the third stringers scored 31 points and lost 31-38. if they were 15-0 they would have run the table.
@@everyonefullofit One year team ever? What the hell does that mean?
I've been binging these Top 10s while playing Madden and I honestly did not expect to see and hear Flula Borg! If you don't know who he is, you need to. He's one of the funniest new comedians out there and he's on his way to make it big!
Forgot about 98 Vikings they were awesome
1990 bills Thurman Thomas Jim Kelly Andre reed
RIGHT !?
What about the 1992 Bills? Jim Kelly in the famed K-Gun offense (which Brady and the pats copied). Keith McKellar and Pete Metzelaars and TE and Andre Reed, Don Beebe, and James Lofton receiving. Squirmin’ Thurman Thomas and Kenneth Davis on the ground. That was an offensive juggernaut
She literally said short people are more aerodynamic which allowed Darren to get all those stats. Error 404 brain not found.
theoneandonlyKJ I think she meant to say they have a lower center of gravity but yeah that was funny.
theoneandonlyKJ It’s called COMEDY!
@@mikeyoungblood1642 Yeah that was some top of the class comedy right there, short jokes.
2011 Packers not on here is a crime
I agreed
Also 1990 Bills snubbed
To put that incredible run in perspective, the 1999 Rams only scored 11 points in the NFC Championship Game and 24 points in the Super Bowl.
and what about the Gannon led Raiders if the early 00s they had a great offense
@Harry Engel dont forget Tyrone Wheatley lol
They lost to my team, GO BUCS!!!!
Gotta add the:
Track-and-field Chiefs
Ya they had the 3rd best offensive year statistically
Technically they werent even the best offense this year, cant go all time
@@bean9674 It doesn't matter. Their ability to evaporate a double digit lead any team has is just SCARY. They're SB Champs, I'd put them on this list.
Well of course they would have to do a revised edition of these and maybe knock out one of the teams. But this was done when Alex Smith was still the quarterback.
Well, they could add the 2018 Chiefs. The 2019 version doesn't belong, regardless of their SB run.
Best line was not even a presidential pardon wouldnt help LMFAO
Need less comedians

How are the 2011 Packers not on this team? They scored more points than the Saints that year
Sephiroth766 ikr
Exactly!!!!
Because they only scored like 13 more points than the Saints and the Saints set the NFL record for passing yards, total yards, first downs, completion percentage. A lot of the Packers points came from an opportunistic defense. Rodgers was godly that year though
Thank you 15-1, tied for best start in nfc history, tied with third most td, only 2 teams to score 42 or more in six games, tied with 2nd most td passes in history i don't get it.
Because the packers suck ass. Po dunk, ugly color, stupid moldy cheese mascot havin stupidest name for a team in the league lame ass franchise.
