But I definitely agree to the fact that Devin Hester is higher than Vick. Vick is great, and he was definitely (and I bet you) one of the best to ever play the game. If the guy hadn't screwed up, and he'd played a full career, who knows what the hell we would've saw. Duel threat quarterback at that point in time? Thats just insane... I mean, the dude literally ran faster than defenders could keep up. But Hester changed the game. He single handedly allowed his team to win games. ya that was my big wtf exclusion, I knew once they announced deion there was no way that the Lions were going to get the top 2 slots (Barry was a pretty obvious #1)
My list: 1. Barry Sanders 2. Randy Moss 3. Deion Sanders 4. Mike Vick 5. LT 6. Troy Polamalu 7. Eric Dickerson 8. TO 9. Ed Reed 10. Gronk Notable Players left out: Hester, Jim Brown, Antonio Brown, Adrian Peterson, Derrick Henry?, Marcus Peters, Brett Favre, Randall Cunningham, Ray Lewis, Earl Campbell What I take into account when talking about a human highlight reel: - Number of incredible plays - Can you do something no one else can do - Can you score touchdowns? - Are you fast? - Can you juke? - Can you physically dominate people? - how smooth can you move? - Do you make plays that show up on the stat sheet?(touchdowns, receptions, long runs, sacks, fumbles, Ints) - When you get the ball do people turn their head and watch/get up from their seat? - Do you have highlights on the sideline too?(micd up) - Are even the commentators shocked by your plays? Thus we have the list. Also note that in the honorable mentions I have a punter and if you think he doesn’t have an insane highlight reel then you don’t know football.
But he is on the list if he was to controversial they would of kept him off the list, once he's on the list what's the difference if he's a few spots higher
Where is Walter Payton? Seriously?? I could watch his highlights all day! Can't say the same for half of this list but at least they did have Barry #1 If you're not old enough to have watched Payton then you should definitely go watch his highlights
JP Cote people under appreciate Ahman Green. From 2001-2004, Green was the most productive RB in the league. He had a kind of speed and agility and power that I had never seen. I think he’s a great RB.
As a lifelong Rams fan I’ll never forget my man Isaiah Robertson being sat down by Earl. What most folks don’t get is Isaiah was an awesome OLB. The thing about Earl is how he wore Teams down. He had some of his longest runs in the 4th quarter. Very special player *🤘🏽HORNS•UP🤘🏽*
Real talk. Threw touchdown, returned touchdowns, kicked, punted, blocked and OH YEAH retired as #1 in rushing yards and yards from scrimmage. Still #2 only to Jerry in scrimmage yards I believe. Dude was phenomenal and the fact that he’s not being remembered properly with time by the rest of the game is appalling.
Ok Walter Payton was one of the greatest of all time but I think his career wasn’t a highlight reel. His greatness came from his shear unrelenting running and refusal to die.
no one remembers that hester was a cornerback coming into the league when they talk about how he runs routes. well he was a db hes used to running them backwards
1) Barry Sanders 2) Dion Sanders 3) Randy Moss 4) Jim Brown 5) Mike Vick 6) Lawrence Taylor 7) BO JACKSON 8) Walter Payton 9) Terrell Owens 10) Calvin Johnson
ynotnilknarf39 pretty sure Barry Sanders was a highlight reel every week, he would make a 3 yard run look spectacular because the lineman never blocked
You have the correct 4 players. But I've seen Vick play in Philly, I would put him over Moss. If those 2 were on the same offense, Lord help the opposing defensive unit.
I'm a Colts fan & let me just say, there may never be anorher return man quite like Hester. That guy was incredible to watch from week to week. Glad I had the privilege of watching him play. What a player to watch. He was without a doubt a special player. I would put him in the Hall just based off of how dangerous he was in the return game.
Marcus Lleverino I’m just saying Dante Hall was a better returner in his prime and was more fun to watch because he returned a kick or punt like Barry Sanders
Enter: Dog fighting charges. Vick is a total scumbag regardless of how great of a player he was. And Vick only played 5 years because of this, so either way his career wasn't what it should have been.
They hired comedians for this because not a single current or former NFL player would support 1-10 on this list! They need to redefine their definition of human highlight!
Im so glad my man Barry Sanders got #1. I literally watch his reels on repeat because the man is insane. I swear he had more yards sideways than he did vertically
Barry actually holds the record for most yards LOST from scrimmage, it's like 1,113 yards lost. The man had no problem getting hit 5 yards in the backfield to get the defense to over pursue the next play or series and break out one of his many TD scampers. There will NEVER be another Barry, I feel privileged to be able to say that I watched hum play!
My Top 10: 1 Deion Sanders, 2 Michael Vick, 3 Barry Sanders, 4 Randy Moss, 5 Jim Brown, 6 Walter Payton, 7 Lawrence Taylor, 8 Dante Hall, 9 Marshawn Lynch, 10 Devin Hester
I am glad that Hester made it onto this list. The guy made watching punt and kick returns interesting. To bad he never developed into a decent wide receiver.
I'm German.. I don't get how anyone finds him funny. The over the top German accent (I'm sure he could speak better English if he wanted to).. the stale comedy.. hell nah. We have better German comedians in German. And I 100% do not get why English speaking people find Flula interesting. It's such a false presentation of the, arguably, cold and sarcastic German humour.

All I care is Barry Sanders where he belongs - #1.
I'm Canadian lived 2 yrs in texas for work it was so much fun hockey football and baseball Austin and barbecue really enjoyed everything but the people were fantastic the most hospitality ever I saw j.j.watt play it was awesome
Jim Brown "He was a linebacker, correct? " 🤦♂️ Please, no more unfunny so called comedians who don't know anything about football. They're annoying as hell!
I first knew i was a football fan when i was 9 and i was out in my dad's car hearing the Cowboys play the Browns on a cold wet Sunday night and Jim Brown was kicking the crud out of Dallas ....7 ...12 yards a carry...the Boys didn't win much that year ...but i became a football fan for life!
He should've been on the list over JJ Watt or Gronk. I don't even know why those 2 are on this list. Payton, Rice, Peterson are some names that come to mind off the top that could've made it over them.
I love Sweetness - but when it came to highlight reel moves, nothing beats Barry Sanders - and no offense but Watt (who is definitely a great player) should not be on the list
How is Dante Hall and Marshawn Lynch not on here. “The human Joystick” “Beast Mode”. Two of the greatest runs of all time. And the “human joystick” I don’t even have to explain.
I LOVE Deion dancing on the RFK field in front of the end zone that says Redskins! My memory jumps to the numbers the scoreboard showed three hours later, when "Neon Deion" and "Moron Glanville" left with their tails between their legs thanks to the classy and understated Joe Gibbs and company.
I watched every game Barry played in and I can say, I wouldn’t leave to go to the bathroom when the offense came on because you felt like you might miss the greatest play ever...
Born and raised a Detroit Lions fan. Thanksgiving Day meant Barry Sanders day. I'm not saying that Barry Sanders was the best running back of all time (I think he is), but there is NO DEBATE that Barry Sanders was the most exciting and fun player to watch of all time. Also the classiest guy to ever play the game. (I DO have a problem with his father not saying that he was the best running back of all time on his HOF acceptance speech, though. Damn, it's your kid, getting his HOF jacket, praise your son, not James Brown.)

T.O. is almost always better than what he gets credit for. His likeability and play off the field clearly affects people's ability to judge his play on the field. Unlike the other wideout on this list, Owens played every down and could be counted on to block 90 yards down field.
@Brandon Hutsler What? Cohen has only been in the league 2 years. Furthermore, Dante Hall made grown ass men look like boys with some of the plays he made. Hester was a better returner, but Dante Hall was incredible. Hester had better vision and overall speed, but Dante Hall was arguably the most agile returner of all time. Dude could have scored way more TD's if his special team's unit blocked better. Dude was making 3-4 guys miss minimum in order to score.
Hester had the same amount of return TDs in his first 2 years as Dante Hall had in his entire career. Dante Hall is a beast but nobody could do it like Hester could.
@@SYC1996 Hester had more plays for TDs for sure, and had better receiving numbers when the Bears tried him at receiver. However as far as highlight reel plays, those were what Hall was made of when he really got in the zone and made guys look silly even with little blocking. Hall had such good body control he could be in trouble with 2 or 3 tacklers trying to get him and he'd somehow find a way out of there.
Yes, PMII had a career's worth of highlights last year...no look; left hand; scramble vs. Ravens; scramble vs. 49ers; side arm around the DE to Hill for TD1; run left and throw back right to Kelce, etc. He is must watch TV.
Loved watching WRs John Jefferson, Stanley Morgan, Lynn Swann, Wesley Walker, Steve Largent back in the day when we were starved for deep threats. Morgan averaged damn near 20yds per catch while playing all the way to his 14th years!!
Remember when they used to have famous sports writers and players providing commentary and justification for the lists? We went from reminiscing about Danny Canstoini's throw to Tim Renfrow to wondering if Jim Brown was a linebacker or a running back
6:03 is one of my all time favorite plays. 90+ yard bomb first play of the game, and he was my fantasy QB. I went crazy and was addicted to fantasy football ever since.
Randy Moss highlights with some explanations about how scary easy he made these plays look would up his ranking. As much as Jim Brown made his opp look like kids, Moss made his defenders look slow and blind with his adjustments to the ball and his speed to run under. And Moss's era are tremendous athletes.
My second all time favorite RB to watch after Barry Sanders. Often nowadays Johnson doesn't get the credit he deserves when people look back and talk about his prime years.
For one season...he was a God!! Then fizzled out faster than ive ever seen any RB in the NFL. It was weird! I remember everyone wanting to draft CJ that next season in fantasy leagues and he was never the same. I would argue AP; "All Day" was far better than Chris Johnson!
I respect the hell out of Jim Brown and his accomplishments, but he does not belong on this list. Neither does Gronk. Where the hell is Sweetness, Rice, and Dante Hall?
Yeah, I was surprised Payton wasn’t there. I woulda taken Watt, Gronk, and Hester off instead of Brown, tho. Nobody ran through entire defenses with ease like Jim Brown.
“He was a Linebacker Correct?” LOL The simple fact that you guys had someone on your video who didn’t know what position Jim Brown Played is extremely embarrassing.
@@joshuastutzman9509 Well, if you're talking about WHO IS BETTER, yes. I agree. It's not even close. Deion was a way more important asset to his team. But, Vick had the ball in his hands EVERY PLAY. And, Deion Sanders, sometimes, wouldn't even have a ball THROWN in his direction.
Barry deion vick But deion was the most talented being that he scored from almost every position punt,Kick returned, int,wr, and RB. If you ask me hes #1
@Drew Biggah I hear what you're saying. But, I'm ranking my guys, basically, on top-end speed COMBINED with lateral quickness COMBINED with their ability to change directions & stop and go. Moss is a high-light reel player. No doubt. But, MOST of his highlights were just him turning on STRAIGHT LINE speed. Moss' straight-line speed, and jumps, were LEGENDARY. But, he wasn't known for his lateral quickness. Moss is like a horse, fast, but primarily only in one direction. Vick/Sanders were like Bunnies. Fast, and can change directions. You'll notice that it's the shorter guys tend to be better "highlight reel" type of players. (AB, Hall, OBJ, etc. All of them under 6'.) Tall guys don't have ALL the advantages.
awwwready I always wonder why he isnt in the topic of best RB's only sanders, Payton and brown jackson should be in there all three great in their own way no doubt but Bo knows #35 silver and black on that note #GOLIONS!!!!!! #1NEPRIDE
AND how.... U put together the human highlight film without the human joy stick..... Kansas City.... Donte Hall And there was another guy named Eric Metcalf
When you watch Barry Sander’s highlights, a majority of the time he was dodging defenders in the backfield so it’s no wonder he led the league in lost yards. How many times did he make moves as he was taking the handoff from the QB and yet he would still go 80 yards for a TD? The fact that he never had a season when he had less than 1,000 yards is unmatched.
They should've had a safety on the list. I can see not having Reed just because his style was very similar to Deion. I think they should've had Lott or Atwater, a safety who could not only get picks but also lay out any one with the ball.
Man.... I can't believe that's the LT that makes this list. No Roger Staubach, pick the wrong 49er receiver's without the GOAT, Marshall Faulk, Bo Jackson, or Gale Sayers??? Not my favorite list but at least the appropriate guy won.
I know alot of people dislike him (for ridiculous reasons, btw🙄), but Ricky Williams was that dude, too. Darren Sproles was that dude, too. Both Warrick Dunn and Mike Alstott were them dudes, too. Countless human highlights n this century alone. Ain't even begun thinking about the gangsters of the 20th century (specifically from the '70's - '90's). Drew Pearson, Billy Johnson, Darrell Green, Tony Dorsett, etc etc etc. Some players just can't make this list, simply due to their quiet, humble character. Walter Payton, Roger Craig, Derrick Thomas, etc... All the way to LT2 (LaDanian Tomlinson), Curtis Martin, Frank Gore, forgotten great we never hear about anymore, but among the best of his time, if not all time, Robert Smith. Etc etc etc, on n on n on. I love these videos. Great subject matter that can easily b debated...🙄... Forever, really. I'll just call it decades. It's not that this channel is wrong about the list they created. Not at all. It's just that anyone else with respectable knowledge of the game, don't have wrong answers, either. That's the biggest reason why these subjects r so fun and educational. God, I love this game. Great video. Thank You for your efforts. 👍💯
I know right!!!! I loved Calvin Johnson. Imagine if Matthew Stafford and Calvin had been drafted 10 years earlier.....You'd have had Stafford, Johnson and Barry Together from 1998-2004 -- Super Bowl BABY!!! Barry's problem was he retired out of frustration that the team never got him a QB and Receiving corps to take the load off.
Johnson is good but he was kind boring to watch. I mean it's the same go long and catch over someone. Atleast moss returned some kick and punts and juked some people.
@@andrewmatheny7939 all the time😂. My point on Y he shouldn't be on a list like this. If this was most dominant players then yea I could see Calvin on that list... But highlight reel? Nah. Highlight reels are people who do things u only see in a video game. Calvin just mosses people and everyone gets mossed by someone every week in the nfl.
I do not think Gronk or Watt As top 10 electric player? They could have put either Ed Fred or Brian Dawkins or even Ray Lewis. What highlights does gronk have?
Hurr a Durr I get that he’s dominate, but there are players with ELITE highlight plays. Name an icon or elite highlight from gronk. Where you’re just like wow that was a huge hit or a great catch.
Herky J Him dragging rams linebacker into endzone, his stiff arm td vs bears, his one handed catch over broncos, his dominant game winning drive vs Steelers if you’ve watched football for the past 10 years you could go on
Uhhh yeah I think he does, because offensive players get all the glory. Only time you're gonna hear about a defensive player is if hes a freak, meaning an amazing player.
leerey14 ummmmmm maybe a long time ago but know? Plenty of defensive players get just as much recognition as offensive players. The only positions in this league that don’t get enough recognition are offensive linemen and long snappers

My list:
1. Barry Sanders
2. Randy Moss
3. Deion Sanders
4. Mike Vick
5. LT
6. Troy Polamalu
7. Eric Dickerson
8. TO
9. Ed Reed
10. Gronk
Notable Players left out: Hester, Jim Brown, Antonio Brown, Adrian Peterson, Derrick Henry?, Marcus Peters, Brett Favre, Randall Cunningham, Ray Lewis, Earl Campbell
What I take into account when talking about a human highlight reel:
- Number of incredible plays
- Can you do something no one else can do
- Can you score touchdowns?
- Are you fast?
- Can you juke?
- Can you physically dominate people?
- how smooth can you move?
- Do you make plays that show up on the stat sheet?(touchdowns, receptions, long runs, sacks, fumbles, Ints)
- When you get the ball do people turn their head and watch/get up from their seat?
- Do you have highlights on the sideline too?(micd up)
- Are even the commentators shocked by your plays?
Thus we have the list. Also note that in the honorable mentions I have a punter and if you think he doesn’t have an insane highlight reel then you don’t know football.
they really put gronk over vick... let that sink in...

It’s disrespectful to not put Walter on this list. If I could have 3 runningbacks, they would be Walter Peyton, Ahman Green and Barry Sanders.
Ahmad green? Gimme a break! Jim Brown deserved to be #2. He gets ignored because it happened so long ago.
JP Cote people under appreciate Ahman Green. From 2001-2004, Green was the most productive RB in the league. He had a kind of speed and agility and power that I had never seen. I think he’s a great RB.

I thought Peyton would be there somewhere and then Brady number one ☝️

Except for Barry. Barry WAS the human highlight reel.
Vick Didn't play long enough. I wouldn't have even put him on the list. I would have put Ray Lewis.

@Brandon Hutsler What? Cohen has only been in the league 2 years. Furthermore, Dante Hall made grown ass men look like boys with some of the plays he made. @@SYC1996 Hester had more plays for TDs for sure, and had better receiving numbers when the Bears tried him at receiver. However as far as highlight reel plays, those were what Hall was made of when he really got in the zone and made guys look silly even with little blocking.
When you watch Barry Sander’s highlights, a majority of the time he was dodging defenders in the backfield so it’s no wonder he led the league in lost yards. How many times did he make moves as he was taking the handoff from the QB and yet he would still go 80 yards for a TD?
