I tried the new pen on a Surface Pro 4 in a shop and it felt a lot nicer to write with than my Surface Pro 3 and Pro 3 Pen.Tempted to try the new Pro 4 pen with my SP3 - I use it mostly for writing rather than drawing/sketching. Holding down the pen button for Cortana is a nice feature. I'm hoping the pen tips are more durable on the new pen. Every single SP3 pen I've seen or used starts to get a frayed look to it like a top layer of plastic has started to strip off
it feels a little better than the sp 3 pen but for the small difference I just couldn't justify the price. the pen tip on the sp4 looks like it'll break off easier than the 3 due to its two piece construction and tiny nub at the end, but only time will tell.
Hi, how's the magnetism of the new pen compared to the old one when using a SP3? Because I know that the SP3 pen didn't hold very well on the side of the tablet. Hopefully the new one's better.
the new is better but you'll notice the difference only when using sp4 since it has a built in magnet for the pen. you can stick the pen at the bottom of the sp3 where the keyboard connects. it's a stronger magnet there
I can't seem to get the Eraser to work on the Pro 4 pen. i'm using it on my Pro 3. It'll open one note and everything i just doesn't see the eraser some reason does anyone know how to fix that.
Alex Duong I read somewhere that once the pen is drained of battery life then you have to buy a new one. I hope that is not true (www.nydailynews.com/news/national/surface-book-pro-4-review-article-1.2472177). That was the link where I found the information. The SP4 pen uses the same battery pen uses the same SP3 pen battery riight
Just fyi, there is a way to draw straight lines slowly; install the application called Lazy Nezumi Pro.
I'll definitely give that a try! thanks

you can use the line tool in Mischief for a better line too :-)
thanks, but the purpose of the video was to see if the pen improves on the jiggling problem
dear Alex, is the pen tip rubberized and how it feel against glass? thanks
