Yeah and some people can’t replace there rear main seal because the transmission is in the way. It’s pretty obvious Not every situation works here. Nor did I say that people had to do this. This is just what I did because I had the engine out. It’s an educational video not a training video.
Friggin great idea man, love it. I'm about to replace the mounts in my 95 C1500 5.7 but the engine is still in... pretty sure it's going to be a right pain in the ass. Great vid.

If you’re referring about the brackets that have a bar that attach from them to the bell housing of the trans This truck is two wheel drive. It doesn’t have the support brackets for the transmission underneath the motor mounts like a 4wd does.
Great idea, saved me so much time I don’t know how I didn’t think of this
I’ve done this on a couple trucks now and in my opinion this is the best way of dealing with it, does take some time but you’ll get it
Maybe some people should let this guy know that a lot of people do not have their motor removed before therefore the engine is still in the way

Used this method and gave you a mention on my newest video on LS swapping my OBS. Thank you and God bless!
Thank you and glad this helped.

Going to try this with motor still in. My passenger side is giving me hell lol
How is this holding up? Does it weaken it?
Owner drives the truck all the time on and off road with no issues to the frame
@@EliteDiesel01 awesome

well einstein won't work if the motor is still in it
Prove it
Did it work with the motor still in.
Just curious if you put the transmission mount brackets on underneath of the engine motor Mount before installing everything
