I just experienced something funny just a few minutes ago when I went to the bank in Los Angeles and the teller was talking to a Spanish lady. I don't think it's funny. Being evicted and losing your job is terrible. I just think it's sad that certain people think they have the right to question and demand information from other people like that. Like, I get it if you think someone "suspicious" is coming into your building, but you call police or notify building security. You don't just come up and demand anything from someone or block their path - you're escalating a situation. And, newsflash, you might be doing that to someone who LIVES there just like you. It amazes me when these people think they know who lives in every apartment in a complex like that. It's also tragic that they cause these things to happen to themselves. Now, he will forever blame the "Asians" or "Hispanics" for this situation that he actually caused himself. And the vicious cycle will continue - cuz I guarantee - he doesn't see anything wrong with ANY of his actions.... sigh.

If you used a key fob to enter your apartments building and someone tried to come in behind you, what would you do? Would you ask if they live here? Would ask if they have a security key to access the building?

So the mexican attempted to drive in behind the White guy, who rightfully challenged the guy by basically saying, I don’t know you you’re not coming in, where is your fob. None of which is racist. As an example if you open a security door at work and a stranger walks in behind you, you would challenge them. So the only racism we see, is that directed at the White guy by stereotyping him as a racist simply because he is White.

Also, couldn't the victim reasonably stop the guy under the pretense that he could be trying to pull in ahead of him even though the he was the one pressed the key fob? I also understand profiling a person as racist simply because they're white and in an altercation is wrong and should be considered racial profiling, but keep in mind the dude was filmed literally verbally profiling the victim as a "criminal" due to his appearance. If I were the guy yelling, I would have simply de-escalated and explained that I was disconcerted by him pulling in immediately after him, and to ask to see his key fob. If he declined, I would have called building management. The victim had yet to technically commit any crime, but threatening to inflict bodily harm(and yes, I understand and support castle doctrine, this is not a reasonable use for that as the parking garage is a privately owned common area by building management, not a private abode) is a legitimate crime.
