I have a 98 mustang so not sure how different its gonna be. But it shouldn't be all too different. Thanks for putting this video out man.

I need to buy this coolant tank, not because of looks but because it will help give me more space in my 06 C280’s engine bay. Because of the V6 3 liter engine it got, it’s so tightly packed that I need to replace this oem coolant tank.

If i'm not mistaken that's garden hose? Mate the coolant going through there is +100C that hose is going to get too soft and pinch with a few heat cycles even possibly melt after a while and leak and the coolant won't return to the radiator like it's supposed to. Hope you replaced that with a proper rubber hose rated to the temperature from your local auto-parts store, even fuel line is good enough and possibly the right ID for it. Love the Mishimoto reservoir but it looks much smaller than the stock one, wondering if it holds enough, what have you noticed?
Hey man awesome video I just ordered mine but I read somewhere that the brackets on these things suck, did yours withstand everyday driving and aggressive bumps?
i was thinking abt that too.instead i see more disadvantages for example plastic is a bad conductor of heat which helps coolant to get back to its normal temp and while the engine is hot opening up this tank will be the same as opeing the main.
I was going to do the power steering tank but it didn’t end up working. There’s no relief system in the Mishimoto tank so my power steering started to act funny and I had to go back to OEM
+atom bomb I did. I’ve gone through many stages of wanting to sell my car due to wanting a 2 door. But at the end it’s too hard too. I like it too much.

Any problems with not having a way out for the coolant if it overflows ?
Cap on the tank seems solid. Is there no vent? I swear it needs to be vented to relief pressure to allow coolant to travel in and out freely.

It held up fine but probably depends where you mount it!

you should go get a new black hose from your autopart store. Its really cheap but overall it looks clean!
