    For any current 35 owners don’t attempt to do a radiator flush or any hose replacement if you don’t have a coolant system refill kit , chances are you can bleed it by the bleeder valve but will take you all day if not 2 , but at the end of the day there will always be air in the system if not vacuumed out

    Hey man this was a very awesome video my car was overheating suddenly so I decided to replace the thermostat and it was still over heating then I replaced the radiator and still over heating then I followed your instructions and the overheating went away. I believe either the thermostat or the radiator was bad but I guess I didn’t bleed it properly right after I replaced both of the parts but anyways my car has a new thermostat and new radiator now after 100k miles which is good cause they will go bad eventually but if it wasn’t cause of your video I would have probably replace the water pump or something else so thank you very much.

      @@augustarellano197 My overheat issue was due to radiator fan. If you can't feel it moving air when your looking down at the fan it is likely the cause. I was getting good readouts on my thermostat so quickly rules that out. Radiator fan is pretty common cause of overheating behind thermostat.

    After I did my swap I had such an issue bleeding my coolant system the air would not come out till I had this brilliant idea. I took one of those hand pumps put the hose on the overflow tube come out with the other hose in the gallon of antifreeze and kept pumping and pumping till I knew for sure no air was coming out the bleeder valve. I kept getting air to the point it blew apart my bleeder valve. They break easy. If you need a bleeder valve you can use a piece that comes in the Preston coolant flush kit at Walmart works mint

    Every time that you rev it and check the coolant , do you keep flushing it out or are you just topping off every time until it comes out of the bleeder valve ?

    • @MotordyneG35
      @MotordyneG35  5 лет назад +4

      Topping it off. You would quickly figure out the other way is impossible. You are not draining fluid out of the system, you are getting the air out.

    How long does it take to bleed out the coolant system. It’s day 3 so far for me and I’m lowkey concerned. I do have some mods for the cooling system (Nismo Thermostat, CSF radiator and Mishimoto fans). I only did these mods cause I live in Arizona and it easily get to 110 on the most random of days

      @@vgyvgoiy ..No rattling noises. Mine is from TBW which stands for toll booth willey. It is powdercoated black and is aluminum. Jon in Vegas had these shields first before z1. I changed my thermostat because it was old and rusted,and appart from that it didn't have a sensor. Now the engine overheats, and I've been trying to burp my car and alot of air bubbles come out when turned on. And it shoots coolant like a volcanoe, but when cold the coolant is barely shows inside the reservoir

    After bleeding and burping the system a bunch of times, my issue was a head gasket on my 2010 FX35 with 170K miles on it. Dropped off on Wednesday to do water pump, chains, and all gaskets, i guess i'll be picking it up next week sometime.

      Only if your having overheating problems. You will know that the thermostat is out when you have never had that issue before and one day it just starts to climb. Then the next day will be fine. That when you know your thermostat is going out. 👍🏻👍🏻
