just found this channel and it has so many videos that are going to be very helpful to me as i’ve been building my g37 6mt for the past two years. appreciate you making these videos
I do not agree with using that long yellow tube under the funnel. The purpose of the funnel with the plunger is to not spill any fluid, if you put the plunger in and remove the funnel from the radiator cap you will spill all the fluid in the tube. I have never had an issue using just the funnel. Once removed I use a small syringe to syphon out a little to not spill any when I put the cap back on. All done after the car cools down. To each his own just my process. Still good info in the video and process for using that method. Such a simple tool but works well. Thanks
Thank you so much for explaining things, and adding small text list overlays on your video! About to replace my heater hose on the passenger side because the coupler broke off completely, the Z1 coupler valve should arrive tomorrow, and I have the Z1 hose kit to install everything. Thanks again boss!
Should I purchase two of these aluminum valves for my 2011 Infiniti G37 coupe left and right? Wasn't sure if the size was the same for the inlet side as well.
So I just got a new g with 130 k miles and It was driving normal everything was fine but when I started accelerating and getting to high rpm’s the car started to smoke white but it wasn’t overheating I stopped and let it chill and the smoking stopped any ideas ?
I've got a 2011 G37 IPL. Just replaced the coolant line union with an aluminum one. It doesn't have the bleeder valve, the stock didn't either. Is there another bleeder valve? Thanks
I know this video is hella old but I have a question with the draining process. I drained all the coolant out of the radiator but there’s still coolant in the reservoir, do I leave it in the and just let it mix when the engine is turned on or take the thing off and drain it separately?
bro i just bought this g35, it got a overheating problem. it has no signs of a blown head, but what else could it be? i just did the thermostat and bled the system. added coolant, and it started then boom the bleeder valve just cracked off. the car warmed up hella quick too. any tips? im local to sac
Please help I’m having to bleed my 2010 G coupe every 2 months my overflow fills to the max .. I’ve changed my thermostat 2 times with the water pump 10000mils ago It bleeds fine solid no bubbles but it continues to come back
I have a question, I’m currently doing that to my car, my reservoir tank has a bottom hose and a top one which is a skinny one that you can pinch, every time I fill up the coolant through the radiator. The reservoir starts filling up as well because of the bottom hose attached to it. Should I pinch it as well
@@alexanderamayaportillo8255 so what i found was that system is built to let out any trapped air from the over flow hose that the reservoir has at the top . As long as you start ur car up with ur funnel kit on you see your car will start using more coolant and just keep pouring more slowing in until it’s between ur max and min on your reservoir

You’re welcome. We’ve got sooooo much more in the making
bought a coolant fill kit at O’Reillys made the the process much easier thank you!

Glad it was helpful!
Good shit bro very informative!
what if it’s volcanic after about 45 mins still and not blowing hot air?
update:my mobile mechanic didn’t use the kit…. I used the kit it’s fine now🫡
@@thekid_k3206thanks im having this problem,I raplaced the thermostat and don’t bleed the car

Any chance u can post a link for Z1 heater core hoses for a 08 g35x or are they the same as the g37/370?
Hey quick question before doing all of this you do drain all the old coolant first correct?
Is this the same on 4.0 nissans? Need to bleed my xterra.
How do you know when you need to use the bleeder or not?
When your engine starts running at temps above 220 or you notice a small leak.
That bleeder is aftermarket, they don’t come with bleeder valves from factory so what am I supposed to do about that?
I have a question what do you do about your car overheating when you turn your ac on?
Mine doesn’t burble it just goes right into the reservoir, what can I do? There doesn’t seem to be any leaks
Same
Same here. I clamped off my reservoir and it helped.

Thats what happens when you accelerate. Just don't wanna see white sweet smoke while you're running idle. (After cold start)

same thing with vq35hr sedan?
I live in middleast if I wanna purchase parts from the given links will it be delivered here?😅😅

Check radiator cap or coolant reservoir cap too. My car was overheating and thankfully it was just the radiator cap.
Is this the same for the 08 G35 sedan?😅😅
Can you help me with an issue I'm having with my VQ?

Yo do a radiator pressure test it could be a tiny leak in a hose
2015 q50 3.7L so what do I do when it goes wild and spits out like a geyser?
That’s overheating. Or a cracked pipe or hise
@niftynet I got it fixed but your right. Cracked hose letting air into the system. Very finnacy

Snap on vacuum fill if you got it,
Got that too. But this video is for people who don’t have everything

step 1: delete stupid ass useless bleeder that always breaks with aluminum coupler
how do u do that ? sorry for g37 lol what would you replace it with?
