You know it is a good one when Adam admits he is a monkey? :P Very funny interactions and thanks so much for the tip about the pilot charts! Wonderful system :D
Adam is getting very relaxed about getting up the mast 👍🏻. You must have been surprised at the amount of tins hidden around Atlas 😂. Can’t wait to see that Dragon Flying 🏴.
Glad you listened politely to the people that know someone or heard of someone struggling with early crossings, often not people that actually have done it and you believed in and went with your own judgement. once again well done boys.
On the serious note of underpants. I would never recommend buying new ones because they always get holes in them. I got horrible big holes in mine in 2018, & a mate of mine met the same condition the following year. Be very careful 😂
Excellent episode. You might want to check out Jimmy Cornell's pilot charts. They have been updated with more recent data that account for weather changes in the past twenty years or so.
A really great episode with an enjoy mixture. Whilst you were dealing with the outboard issues I said ‘float chamber’. Which came as a surprise to me. It is more years ago than I care to remember taking outboards apart - fondly remember’British Seagull’ which seemed widely used - although one had to be careful starting them as it was with a rope wrapped around a sort of capstan and the pull back could be alarming for the shoulders. Loved all the chart stuff too need to look at this on large apple screen to understand more. Safe sailing, Gentlemen.
We had an old British seagull outboard on our very first tender. It was very temperamental 🤣🤣. After fixing the outboard we have had no further issues. It was the needle valve seat all along! Runs like a dream. The pilot charts are fantastic
The number in the circle on the Pilot Charts is the percentage of 'calms' in that area apparently. How do I know? I pressed pause on your video and read it. 🤪Is that cheating? Probably. Another great (and informative) video lads!
So happy that you’ve taken me on this journey. Your adventures warm my sea spirit. Almost gave up on the sea after the hurricane took our Morgan 33. Stepping out in our pocket trawler Prairie 29. Maybe not around the world, but I’m loving your adventure.
Bloody hell Adam. You blew the arse out of them.. What you been eating? Looking forward to seeing the Dragon fly. Great work Boat Shed Sails ❤. Thanks for running us through the charts. Cheers
Loved the video guys, we picked up our Dufour Yacht 425 - 2008 last week in Southampton now in Plymouth getting it ready for 1st go. Keep well,, can't wait to see your transit to Fiji :)
It's sad day when you blow the arse out of your favourite pants 🤣🤣🤣!another brilliant vid stay safe brothers, really looking forward to the next chapter on your amazing adventure 👍❤️👍
Just looked at a reply from a previous chst and see you are going Fiji then Vanuatu then Australia. I was just surprised that you wete goiing instead of west. ??
I had a good laugh at the pants. I have to actively confiscate my better half’s before they get to quite that stage….😳. Really appreciated the tutorial on the old pilot charts. Really interesting and useful as have not seen them before. ⛵️
I never made cheese. Probably a good thing though. If I knew how I probably wouldn’t be able to S- - - for days. Smoked Gouda Cheese is right up there with a Sharp Cheddar. Stay safe and Sails up Dawgs!!!
Those pilot charts look to be very useful on ocean passages but I would also look at the the best wind apps like windy and predict wind. You'll be fine going up to Fiji even if you do strike a gale or two because you have a proven sound vessel, you have undoubted seamanship skills and you've already done the trip, albeit the other way. Good luck guys.
Well done lads, nice to see the planning process. I noticed the bean consumption was high relative to fruit. This may explain why Adams keks got shredded. Fair winds and wot not. Cheers
Great videos guys! As far as I know, on the wind arros, they have big and, or short fins. The long fin represent 10 kn and the short 5 kn, so 25 knots of wind would be two long and one short.
Cant tell you how much i enjoy this. I have brought the code zero and furler from our old boat to the new one it may be more of a chicken shute as it will be undersized. The boat comes with a spinnaker but no sock. 🙂We are a bit scared to use it lol
If I’m casting for the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie, Adam would be crew on the Black Pearl, and Luke would be in the Royal Navy, or a member of the Admiralty with the powdered wig. I’m not sure what any of this means.
great video lads all the best for your next trip .got to say them underpants are the best designer ones ive ever seen people rip jeans why not pants, good luck happy sailing love your videos KRO! love the sense of humor stay happy 🌍⛵
Eating cheese causes panty issues, I have matching pair. your good to go on your crossing. Still waiting to see you boys make spaghetti pizza. Flour and water and little oil to pan fry it.
Really puzzled why you are not completely doing a circumnavigation. Thought you would be heading for Australia then perhaps Asia then back through the SUEZ or down to South Africa, West Africa then back along the Atlantic to Wales. Sorry, that's what I imagined. But hope you have a good sail to Fiji.
After Fiji it's going to be Vanuatu then Australia. Then it'll be Asia possibly up to Japan for a bit then back to Asia then West to Africa across in the Atlantic again 👍
really interesting video boys. Did you have to go private to have them surgically removed ?😁 I get my wellies done on the NHS so I can have a bath on my birthday 😁
Interested in how your Lee cloths were fixed. I’ve got a 36 (without bunks or Lee cloths) and want to fit them, but I think like you, my locker lids under the cushion fit flush. Did you just fix them inside the locker and then jam down the locker lids? (And how do you secure your locker lids ?)Ta😊
We fitted them inside of the locker and the cushions just sits on top with little square blocks of wood which locks them in place stops them from falling off 👊
great to have another episode in the week, but confused by someone commenting 13 days ago? ..... by the way just turn the pant around ..... esay out .keeps it in ...lol... the pinchbecks UK 🇬🇧
Our patreons get to see the videos before the general public and they can leave a comment on RUclips. I should have just turned the pants inside out 😭😂😂
Hi my name is Bodhi I'm loving your episodes, my dad let watch you on his phone every Sunday. I was just wondering if you noticed that every week at around the same time and day your likes keep going up and down its us thanks
Chuck the sock in the dock. They are the work of the devil. I am a SH sailor & never use the darned thing. Too dangerous dancing about on deck looking up.
"... and just to confirm, he HAS been wearing them..."
😂😂😂
They we're my favourite 😁
Yes they were so breezy
Thanks a million for showing the Atlas of Pilot Charts, never seen them before. Would really like to see more of this kind of passage info.
It's something we look at before every passage so we thought why not put it into a video 📷
Nice job troubleshooting your outboard engine carburator. Your preparations for getting underway are top notch. 👍🌠
Thank you so much 👍
Happy Birthday Luke, stop teasing us on the Welsh Dragon Spinnaker!! 😉
Thanks for the birthday wishes 🎉
You know it is a good one when Adam admits he is a monkey? :P Very funny interactions and thanks so much for the tip about the pilot charts! Wonderful system :D
I am like a monkey up the mast 😂💪💪
Adam is getting very relaxed about getting up the mast 👍🏻. You must have been surprised at the amount of tins hidden around Atlas 😂. Can’t wait to see that Dragon Flying 🏴.
I actually enjoy going up the mast 😄
We were surprised on how many tins we have on board , can never have too many
Good info style channel.Like this content.Corned beef.Another great classic.Good winds brothers.
Much appreciated Simon 😀
Glad you listened politely to the people that know someone or heard of someone struggling with early crossings, often not people that actually have done it and you believed in and went with your own judgement. once again well done boys.
It can be a risk that's anytime of the year but especially early after cyclone season. I think we made the right call on this one 😀
On the serious note of underpants. I would never recommend buying new ones because they always get holes in them. I got horrible big holes in mine in 2018, & a mate of mine met the same condition the following year. Be very careful 😂
Great winds and easy seas,Atlas , .. She's only begun to gallop! Have a good sail and I hope a good sleep on your nights.
Always hoping for a good passage 😄
Looking forward to the passage to Fiji. Fair winds
They are going to be good episodes 😄
Excellent episode. You might want to check out Jimmy Cornell's pilot charts. They have been updated with more recent data that account for weather changes in the past twenty years or so.
Thanks for the tips 😀
A really great episode with an enjoy mixture.

I can’t get enough of you fellas ❤️😂😘
what no cheese gromit great video again
Believe me we packed the boat with cheese before we left
The number in the circle on the Pilot Charts is the percentage of 'calms' in that area apparently. How do I know? I pressed pause on your video and read it. 🤪Is that cheating? Probably. Another great (and informative) video lads!
To be honest we should have read and researched it before filming 🤣🤣
Thanks for letting us know 😃
@@TheSailingBrothers I needed something to take my mind of Adam’s shredded undies!!🤢
@@wallabybob3020 haha
You got up that mast quick!
I'm an expert 😁
So happy that you’ve taken me on this journey. Your adventures warm my sea spirit. Almost gave up on the sea after the hurricane took our Morgan 33. Stepping out in our pocket trawler Prairie 29. Maybe not around the world, but I’m loving your adventure.
It's a pleasure taking you on this journey 🙏
Again sorry to hear you lost your boat 😔
The best thing about those pants is that they wouldn't take long to wash and dry.
Just a couple of minutes 😁
Those pants looked well ragged...lol...lol
It's all the cheese 🤣🤣
Spinnaker + sock, looks very much like stuffing duvet into duvet cover, I reckon. Never sailed by the way
That's what it's like ✌️
Bloody hell Adam.
You blew the arse out of them..
What you been eating?
Looking forward to seeing the Dragon fly.
Great work Boat Shed Sails ❤.
Thanks for running us through the charts.
Cheers
Way too much cheese and beans 🤣🤣
Well I’ve never heard of pilot charts . But I could use one now . Well explained. Good luck on your trip x
Thanks so much! 😊
Wish you guys some good luck for your long passage to Fiji. Hope the weather stays good .👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I will be an expert 😁
Cracking boys, can’t wait to see the 🏴 flying. Diolch
We can't wait to see it flying either 😍
Good luck boys!
👊⛵
Happy sailing, lads. RIP pants. Your service has been appreciated. 🫡
Much appreciated indeed 😃
Frayvorite pair of pants indeed. You should have saved the old sailcloth to repair them.
I know 🤣🤣
Every child's dream, a sock that long to hang at Christmas! 🤣
Oh yes Santa sock 😃
Loved the video guys, we picked up our Dufour Yacht 425 - 2008 last week in Southampton now in Plymouth getting it ready for 1st go. Keep well,, can't wait to see your transit to Fiji :)
How very exciting 😄
Let us know how it goes 😉
When there is no wood to touch I always touch my head lol. Bon voyage.
There is more wood in my head 😜
Thanks for another great video! Good luck on your passage to Fiji, life is a learning experience. Stay safe from the east coast of Canada 🇨🇦 🙏
Thanks so much Lloyd 😀🙏👊
Russell was called the he'll hole of the pacific couple hundy years or so ago...a very jaded past..lol
Really 😧 wow that's crazy
Enjoyed this as usual. Sorry about your undies you need to go commando now and use them as a burgee. Stay safe on your journey.
Imagine going commando in an episode 🤔🤢🤮 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love the 'rugged' feel of your videos . . . encapsulated in the show and tell of the pants . . . hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think the pants were the highlight 🤣🤣
Fabulous!!
It's sad day when you blow the arse out of your favourite pants 🤣🤣🤣!another brilliant vid stay safe brothers, really looking forward to the next chapter on your amazing adventure 👍❤️👍
It was a very sad day to say goodbye 😭
Next episode we will be leaving for Fiji ⛵
Tinned tuna and peas make a good topping on instant mashed potatoes.
Great idea 💡💡
Just looked at a reply from a previous chst and see you are going Fiji then Vanuatu then Australia. I was just surprised that you wete goiing instead of west. ??
Another great episode lads !! Fair Winds Cheers from OZ
Thank you John we will be in Australia November 🤩
The best sailing channel on the internet by a long shot.
Thank you so much 🙏
Life was simple!!
This episode was a bit pants lads 😂 loved it.

You and me both!
Glad you have the modern weather computerized system we had a compass, lead line sextant atomic clock and charts
We are very lucky with all the modern technology
Safe trip guys no.1 sailing channel.
Yes 👍 love it 🤩
I had a good laugh at the pants. I have to actively confiscate my better half’s before they get to quite that stage….😳. Really appreciated the tutorial on the old pilot charts. Really interesting and useful as have not seen them before. ⛵️
The pants are quite the talking point 😂😂
We always look through the pilot charts so it was good to show all you guys have gals 😜
A mid week bonus! Can’t wait to see that spinnaker flying! 🏴God speed boys!
It's going to be a good day 😄
I cannot wait to see that spinnaker inflated. Great to see you boys midweek. ❤
It's a pleasure to be out midweek 😁
I never made cheese. Probably a good thing though. If I knew how I probably wouldn’t be able to S- - - for days. Smoked Gouda Cheese is right up there with a Sharp Cheddar. Stay safe and Sails up Dawgs!!!
It's quite easy to make at home unfortunately 😂😂🤣🤣. You can make any cheese you desire 😜
You can get tinned potatoes at Countdown.
That's what I told Luke
Those pilot charts look to be very useful on ocean passages but I would also look at the the best wind apps like windy and predict wind. We always check the pilot charts before making a ocean crossing. Windy.com is fantastic 😍. Atlas will look after us in any weather ☁️, she is a beauty
Well done lads, nice to see the planning process. I noticed the bean consumption was high relative to fruit. This may explain why Adams keks got shredded. Fair winds and wot not. Cheers
It's not a secret anymore 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Fart ripped 😉
Great vlog guys............look forward to the next installment.
Not long to wait 😁
Great videos guys!

good info on the charts cheers
No problem 👍
Nothing wrong with those pants. Plenty iu miles in them as a dishcloth 😂
That's what I thought 🧐
Cant tell you how much i enjoy this. I have brought the code zero and furler from our old boat to the new one it may be more of a chicken shute as it will be undersized. The boat comes with a spinnaker but no sock. 🙂We are a bit scared to use it lol
It can be a little daunting using it but once you get the hang of it. Using a Spinnaker will be a lot easier with a sock ✌️
If I’m casting for the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie, Adam would be crew on the Black Pearl, and Luke would be in the Royal Navy, or a member of the Admiralty with the powdered wig. I’m not sure what any of this means.
It means we are going to be famous!! 😁
Nice trip see my home town featured. Bon Voyage
A beautiful town 😍
great video lads all the best for your next trip .got to say them underpants are the best designer ones ive ever seen people rip jeans why not pants, good luck happy sailing love your videos KRO! love the sense of humor stay happy 🌍⛵
That's right David they were designer pants it's all the rage these days! Cheers buddy 😄
Eating cheese causes panty issues, I have matching pair. your good to go on your crossing. Still waiting to see you boys make spaghetti pizza. Flour and water and little oil to pan fry it.
So that's why my pants are full of holes 😂😂, spaghetti pizza here we come
Can't wait for the next episode!
Not long to wait ✌️
Sand in the tank will do that, put a filter in before the carb
There should be some sort of inline filter
Nice video
Thanks
Wow great episode

Propane is the correct term
👍

Release the Krak,,,,oh, Dragon!
Oh yeah 👍
Can we please get a moment of silence for the ultimate sacrifice of Adam’s undergarment 😂😂😂
National pants day 1 minute silence 🤫
R.I.P Pants 😆
🤓
great to have another episode in the week, but confused by someone commenting 13 days ago? ..... by the way just turn the pant around ..... esay out .keeps it in ...lol... the pinchbecks UK 🇬🇧
Our patreons get to see the videos before the general public and they can leave a comment on RUclips.
I should have just turned the pants inside out 😭😂😂
Do you have Predict Wind or other passage planning tool that will/should have atlas data in it ?
We were receiving predict wind information from one of our lovely patrons, that's it
If wanting Pilot-charts newer than from until 1988, then I'll need to pay?
It's full of historical data. I'm not sure to be honest 🧐
RIP pants you served well .
It was a sad day 😔
"Pocket Cruiser"? You boys are livin' in the lap of luxury matey! Us "real" PC'ers might take offense at such pretentions ;-)
😂 we always have the smallest boat in The Anchorage
I thought you guys were going to Australia? What's your long term plan?
Fiji , Vanuatu then Australia this coming November 🤩
❤❤❤❤
✌️
No surprise about those pants Adam. You gotta lay off the beans
And cheesecake 😋
Going east instead of west.
Fiji is North across the tradewinds. Weekend travel north and south at West around here but not East because of the tradewinds at North
have a great sail to FIJI guys,
Thanks Jay 😎
Come on guys get some fresh fruits and vegetables for the first week of your passages. You need to stay healthy for us subscribers!
Fresh fruits and vegetables will be purchase the day before leaving ✌️
Like, Subscribe, COMMENT! He says commenting.
YES 😜✌️
Those undies still looked in good nick.
That's what I said

😳🙈 Used ..? As a rag yes? 🙈

May the pants rest in pieces
😂😂
Hahahahahaha
🤣🤣
Chuck the sock in the dock. They are the work of the devil. I am a SH sailor & never use the darned thing. Too dangerous dancing about on deck looking up.
Sounds like you have had bad experiences 😕
Don't be stupid you could still turn them round lol😂
Dam it!! 😂😂
Good job preparing. Did you ever go by and get your cheese? Would be a shame to go to all of the trouble making it and not enjoy it.
Yes we did and it will feature in the next episode 😁
