That's a monster of a boat reel. You can land a 300lb shark with that if the rod's man enough. Good choice! I find it amusing that around the 10 minute mark you were nonchalantly enjoying the swell that was twice the size of the ripples that had you crapping yourself in Biscay.
I suppose we have got used to the sea and what it can do after covering so many miles since the Biscay 😮. I have caught many a large mahi-mahi and tuna on this new reel

sadly T bags contain microplastics used in the making of the bag....we changed a few years ago to a brand that doesn't use plastic in it's bag construction .......who'd have thought hey !!

Watching this on a cruise ship in Norway. Would rather be with you even in a rolly poky yacht. Felt more scared in 70 plus knots than a hurricane on a 40ft catamaran. Really enjoying your wonderful journeys.

Good luck with the fishing. The boat is the best lure so set your lure no more than 30ft from the boat for best results when trolling.

The Two Welsh Ben Gunns arrive home. There's no doubt about that smell though... I was born in Trinidad in the early 1960s and went to live in England not long after. When I was 10 I went back for a visit and the smell of the hot tropical island night hit me the moment we got off the plane. It was like a hotline to my DNA, so part of me, so familar ...fruits, bush fires, vegetation... I think you boys are home for good in Fiji. Truman Burbank would be proud of you!

Hi when we troll while cruising , we use handlines and 200lb breaking strain line, we are fishing to eat not sport.
Even so we never troll at night we have had our 200lb line smashed off at night.

You shouldn’t throw teabags in the sea, you dozy twonks, fish drink coffee! But to be serious, apparently the fabric in teabags contains plastic. Only found that out a year or so ago myself, bloody stuff gets into everything. Congratulations guys, epic passage.
