Amazing comeback, Kiwis beaten fair n square, no luck involved. Good to see Ineos backing themselves, looking imperious and calm in both starts. Long way to go yet but to have 4 each would stir things up immensely. Both boats very evenly matched. Kiwis definitely looked rattled but don't expect that to last.
Good to see a fightback, from the Poms, kiwis still in the lead but first to 7 & two wins in a row gives Ineos a chance. Hoping Burlington will be more focused tomorrow. Good to see a tussle. Kia Kaha
I'm afraid you might be right. Of course I put that down entirely to the wind drop not suiting the setup, but they did seem to let them get the better side to much in the second half.
Cool to see the different strategies of both teams when in front. INEOS clearly not engaging in any tack fight and just focusing on shifts and straight line speed, well done!!
They were loose covering to covering for the first half of the race. Only after leg 4, did they really start to open up and race their own race. Exactly the right call for the conditions IMO.
Great work in the start box by Etnz. Just a real shame they let IB get across them in the last few seconds which ultimately cost them the race. Good racing and a fair win to GBR. Etnz was breathing down their neck at the finish.
For the Media Team; Its was so great to hear Hannah Mills in the commentary box, not only a talented sailor but also good at commentary ! Compared to those; who are an old career journalist who has never raced or competed in his life in the sailing world who is so biased and parochial !

NZ wins 4 in a row? Easy, Britain wins two in a row? Amazing how much interest has been generated by that. And advertising . and longer race series. That's racing, ya say. And yet....
Yes, Kiwis are clearly faster in most conditions but the chop seemed to help INEOS. And they held on, but barely. In race 5, the kiwis gained almost a kilometer after their mistake at the start.
No surprise that as soon as the wind actually blows that Britannia starts to look like a real force. No wind races and they lose. It was the same against Luna Rossa.

Luck in the first race as kiwis made a mistake and Brits did well to make them pay. Another mistake 2nd race but Kiwis made up so much ground and nearly took it off them, I doubt Brit’s could have done that if it was reversed

How do they move the buoys when the course is adjusted?
the buoys have separate motors with GPS tracking to keep in place or to move them especially after the start, there is a separate item on RUclips
They are catamerans with electric motors, they move autonomously using GPS for the positioning.
