Man I can’t express to you how much I appreciate your videos. Short, descriptive, with hits of comic relief and humble to boot. Always express what’s you opinion, not rule and are the BEST help! Thanks so much and again your my go too
Endeavors and Admiralty are the two things I do daily. I spam the Klingon and Ferengi Toru of Duty's for Fleet Dil Vouchers for my Fleet, and Ferengi to keep my toons topped off on Dil. Every time one of my toons hits 1 mil EC, I put it in the bank. However the best EC maker for me has been selling Very Rare Fleet Duty Officers on the exchange, especially Very Rare Technicians.
You can search for Tour the Galaxy routes. There are a couple of really good ones out there. I have not looked too deeply into it, but I would imagine that a person could use Episode Transwarps to trim some time off as well. I mean, you have 15 minutes to complete it but that doesn't mean you need to use all 15. Maybe that's a project I will tinker with.
Tour the Galaxy got an update....there are more systems to visit now, still cant find a route guide for that new update and i dont even know if its totally doable, you got more Alpha and now Delta Quadran place to visit
Great Video. (as always) Thx a lot. I think this video is a great addition to these Build Videos like we discuss in the comments in your other video. Thumbs up !
The Risian Luxury Cruiser from the last Summer Event is an excellent ship to run Tour the Galaxy. Ship has Solar Sail Slipstream which runs twice as long as the standard slipsteam.
What I do is make a new character, usually fed. As soon as able, I get my account unlocked cnidarian defender. Then I do patrols one after the other for ships. Within an hour, they are at least level 20+. With the recruitment account bonuses I have (temporal, gamma, Klingon, delta, etc), at lvl 20, you can claim about 3/4 of the overall prizes. I get the money, put it in the account bank with any items I want to transfer, convert the 8k dil into zen, then delete the toon and start over. You usually get 3mil EC+, crafting items and 16 zen within 1 hour timeframe id not less time….
@@Tin047 account bank unlocked. You pass the EC from the toon you will get rid of to the account bank pool. Do the same with items that can be passed or liquidated
Right now, I just do endeavors and admiralty on all of my characters, doing Klingon and Ferengi missions to get more dilithium and EC rewards, plus 40k fleet credits with the Ferengi campaign. I tend to just chuck everything in the replicator when I get loot because I either forget or don't care about vendor prices. I know it's probably cost me a few million over the years, but it's not that big a deal. I really do need to get ship built for the Tour mission though, get used to do that every day.
Thank you for very valuable tips my ship in sector space is super fast and handles awsome when slip stream is active and also cyclical slip stream on my legendary miracle worker from 10th bundle fit nicely for these runs u r AWSOME thankx🤣🤣🤣🤣😁
When it comes to selling the fleet engineering personal what do you do ? Open the box and sell them on the exchange? And what would be the ideal price to put them up for ?
yeah, you'll have to open up the boxes the fleet duty officers come in to sell them. Price will depend on the kind of duty officer, as it is a random drop, some will be more valuable than others. You'll have to look up that type of duty officer they are and what abilities they have (which you'll be able to do in the duty officer menu) and compare them to others on the exchange to determine a good price to sell at.
As much as I appreciate the videos that people make to teach us how to do these things, it is getting really ridiculous how expensive things are on the exchange despite the fact that Star Trek takes place in of post scarcity society meaning money doesn't really have a lot of value anymore. And yet somehow here we are having to Shell out millions of EC just for a character trait just so we can do +0.2% more healing. Yes this is a commentary on the fact that things cost so much and STO plus the fact that healing gear always seems to be more expensive for healers in social games literally for no reason. Despite the fact that healer is probably the least played class in any game. The least that they could do is at least provide some sort of incentive for people to Play support roles in video games because they are part of the glue that holds the community together along with the people who teach us stuff!
@@Stu1701 only the VR are bind. There's a cluster in the alpha quadrant I don't remember which one that will reward you a blue Vorta prisoner that you can use for prisoner exchanges DO missions. It's also unbind.
I made in other games so much gold with the auction house (WoW, EvE) here in STO with the excange i kinda made easy EC but the market is challenging and not stable. Prices at some items fly up and down but if you use profession aka RND you can make easy some mil each day with no stress.Don't take for good my RND strategy, i am still a beginner but i manage to get all my items from exchange i needed (Fr ex. Crit officers, traits ship, kits, items for ground and space)in just a few weeks. Now farming in patrols is not good unless you are at the very start of the game or you need items for salvage endevor. So in STO buy cheap/sell high is risky unless you are looking for the some high price items all the time and hope you get lucky.
personally i just put aside 5 bucks every paycheck and buy and sell a fleet ship module but ill probably start doing some of this just to get that little bit extra
Hey Stu just asking can you do a new updated video like 1800brokensoul's on how to play the game for free. I noticed a few things have changed & he's not doing STO from what I can see. You seem to know a lot of the tricks. Can you put an updated video to that out?
Chuck'n 'er into the algorithm, stay safe out there Captain's watch for random solar flares as you pass by some of the systems in Tour The Galaxy. Nobody likes heat rash !
Already got a Miracle worker ship. How do I get ahold of the other three things? The Assimilated Subtranswarp engine, Gamma Synergistic Overcharged Warp Core and the Polaric Modulator console?
Assimilated engine is from the Omega reputation, Gamma warp core is from the Gamma reputation, and Polaric Modulator is an episode reward from Delta Flight.
I'd like to point out that the Gamma warp core and assimilated engines don't stack anymore, so you only need the Gamma core now. Learned that the hard way a couple days ago. I think Omega Force engines might be the best now because of the slipstream cooldown bonus.
When I played sto actively, I tried most of these EC grinding methods. TTG is good, but can be really boring. A patrol run will net you about 300-500k EC, which is alright, too. But you will make a lot more money playing the exchange. I needed billions of ec for my dps build, made maybe 100 million through conventional grinding, but around 20-30 billion EC through exchange flipping. Takes some effort to get into it, but much better in the long run.
Yes and no . Exchange flipping may have helped you personally, but the flipping itself is part of the current EC inflation, and is one of the few main reasons that you "needed" so much EC in the first place . Flipping is an endless game of one upmanship, often between people who already have Billions of EC , and always at the expense of the sto community as a whole. Once I understood that, I stopped doing it .
@@Stu1701 lol thanks. I should have investigated that more thoroughly. I'm playing on PC. Thats pretty neat that you can tour the interior of your ship.
