looks clean and smart unlike were I work at. forced to use soundoff with whelen and star in one vehicle and expecting to be top notch results . its doable but still not the best results IMO.
Regarding the Whelen tracers, I’ve never seen them mounted under the running boards. I would imagine a large curb jump or scraping the running boards would easily damage them. I’ve always seen them mounted just below the body line on the upper side of the running boards. Any reason they were installed in that manner? I’m going to guess customer specification probably.

Why have the 21 and slide controller and only use half of the buttons? Probably should put the blank covers on all of those unused buttons.

It’s Whelen preference to have them mounted there! Yes on the 2020 they were on the upper.
