Yes any vehicle designed or manufactured directly for law enforcement can only be purchased by law enforcement from factory. But you can buy it if the vehicle is retired. But sirens and lights can be purchased and installed on private vehicles just be aware of local laws about color and where and when you can use lights and sirens.
@Tim Lally Chevrolet So if this can only be bought or ordered by law enforcement, why was Security mentioned? I own a Security company here in Texas, so could i buy this truck outfitted with green and white lights? I sure could use a couple for my business.
I believe you can still order an upfitted vehicle just without things that denote law enforcement. Call Jamie in the commercial department at 440-345-8317 to check and he will know for sure.
Unfortunately, these trucks are unreliable. As a professional criminal, i wouldn't be worried about being pursued by this truck. It will break down. But it does look pretty with its Christmas lights.
What light was used for the under cowl?
That is slick!
those are Federal Signal MPSU6s
I need more information on these Silverados and I believe you're local to me. Do these have to be purchased through a government agency?

Chicagomotors sells retired police vehicles and they have two of these looking brand new.
With working lights
Just gotta wait 5-6 years before I can pick one of them up at auction😁
Until 2028 or 2029
Looks awesome. =)
Did you see how small the backseat is. Single cab status
@@henrywal well, it's not a luxury vehicle. Plus, it would be useful for containing a combative prisoner.
If you can tie in the light control with the truck so when its placed into park the white lights turn off, or so it moves it to stage 2 lighting
I believe we can! We have had departments request sirens turn off when place in park, so I don't see why we cannot program this!
I need those rumblers on my Corolla
👨🍼
The lights on the back window do they have some like that for the front
The rumblers are commonly used in big cities like New York City and Las Vegas

Not a single iron was harmed in the making of this video
?????????????????????????????????????????
Better you use a Federal PA300 Siren or an Unitrol one or a Code 3 siren like San Diego Fire Dep. 😊
You do know that the pathfinder has unitrol and pa300 siren tones all in one
no wig wag ?

Who wants to tell him Chevy does not make a “pursuit rated“ pick up truck
They do lol it’s literally this thing
We all make mistakes bro. Just Google it. 😅
I think someone needs to do some research
@@brandonfrantz2162Some fuckin people 😂
Got to spend those tax dollars for some cool toys.
Bro a lot of this is functional and necessary lol I don’t see your issue
