  • There are a lot of tech advances in Dental Implant Treatment.
    Most advances are geared towards improving the quality and speed of the end result.
    Some of these advances are not new, but they are significant improvements to how dental implant treatment was carried out - and then made safer.

    Communication is something you’re Extremely good at. Along with your dentistry you teach classes on Dentistry Communication 101!!! And Everyone in the dental field should have to take that class once Every Year! You’ve earned a 5 Star plus, from me for sure. I’ve seen Drs at Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, IU Medical and Dental Center!! Take Care, and keep your videos coming out. You are a Inspiration to us that have implants or thinking about having them. Blessings, Debbie.

    Thank you so much for this video! It answers a couple of questions I have (so far). 3-D scan and how they actually place the titanium implant (the mold with the drill hole placed over the teeth). I’m a visual learner. This helped a lot!

    Found your channel after considering an All on 4. Glad I got better informed before going in for a consult tomorrow, and just wanted to say thanks for making this content available. I just wish I could come see you instead, but it's a hell of a swim from Australia.

      @@HeronCoyote1234 I went for the consult but did not proceed with the All on 4. My case was unusual, I have a rare condition that would almost guarantee that an All on 4 would be a catastrophic failure. The all on 4 specialist was happy to attempt it as long as they could not be held responsible... Just take care to read all the terms and conditions / legal liability stuff before you do anything drastic.

    Extremely interesting, teeth from stem cells! the mind boggles, it's absolutely amazing what you can achieve today, I was a child a long time ago, and the school dentist put the fear of dentistry into me, hence my lack of dental care and preferring to have all my back teeth extracted rather than having all those scary injections and fillings over and over again, I remember watching the dentist heat the syringe in a flame, that made me feel faint. I would still like to retain the front teeth I have, even though a couple of those are missing, NHS dentures fill all the gaps in my mouth now, but I would like to retain my natural front teeth in my gums, and have a nice set of dentures for the upper and lower back teeth.

    Hi. Just found your channel. My question is about gum recession and implants. I have a tooth, originally a peg lateral that has been capped , posted, implanted now twice. The first implant lasted 7 years. This one is almost two years old, had much bone and imitation bone replaced however the gum has receded. Now the tooth next to it loosing bone and gums. If you have suggestions I’d so appreciate it thank you

    Thanks lots! Very informative! Just yesterday at the local dental clinic in Brazil, my dentist removed my two chewing teeth and but have to implant three teeth. How many months should I wait for the implants? And after implants how many months need to heal completely? I have gum disease often even though I clean properly. I need to visit India to visit my family. So I need to make plan! Thanks! I have subscribed!

    Love watching all your videos. I have learned a lot from watching. Last week I had tooth #8 extracted and 3 implants placed in the front in #8, 9 and 11. 5yrs ago I had bad accident and lost my front teeth and canine tooth on left side. Really excited to not have to wear partial anymore. Thanks a lot for all your videos.

    • @sdubu22
      @sdubu22 2 года назад

      @@susmithareddy2900 yes but the second one is very minor. The first one is when they cut the gums and expose the bone to place the implant. Then 3 to 6 months after it has had a chance to heal. They will do one other small surgery where they cut the gums again only slightly to gain access to the implants to place a healing abutment. But it also depends on if they are doing guided surgery or not. So really only one surgery and second one is very minor

    I am.shocked to fins out the ceramic ones come worh aluminum oxide. I would like vodeo also on the other mentals present in titanium imolants . Strsuman does grade 4 but contain zirconium 12% .. it's not stated what grage zircoinium. There are still traces of other metals in gradr 4 titanium alone. What are the risk of this metals in oure body. Who is at risk of developing sensitivity? Should i take metal sensitivity test? I read about it affecting lungs, spreading to other tissues, when does it happen, over time ? I resd they can chip to surrounding tissue and casue problem. I don't think patient is told much of what are side effects or the full implant chemical composition. Dentist seem to be upset to get asked to much. Do you do tissue level implants or bone level ? Are the bone level really hard to clean

      Maybe because it causes bone loss, and this in longterm this will eventually cause dentures to fail?
