One topic that I wish you would expand on, I believe it’s very important and many patients are unaware of the implications, and many dentists are also uninformed about the scope of oral infections in a person’s general health. I am talking about inflammation/arthritis. I had some infected teeth and had them removed. I have suffered with painful knees and a painful back for a couple of years, and within a week of having those teeth removed, my arthritis symptoms vanished. It also effects heart health. The systemic effects of dental infections is all the more reason to get implants, IMO.
I couldn't possibly agree with this more. I had all of mine extracted and my knee and hand arthritis pain decreased DRASTICALLY. I had my extractions in the beginning of winter, when my arthritis would be at its worst, and it was like my arthritis pain magically decreased by about 80% overnight.
I had my teeth pulled 7 months ago due to infection. I am getting traditional dentures. I do feel a lot better. Everyone and I do mean everyone. Needs to see dentist for regular cleanings and dental work. It would keep people from ending up. Needing dentures and implants. We need teeth to be healthy.
I am 3 months into my all on 4 procedure. Temps are in and I am in the healing process. My procedure went great and the most I could say is I had moderate discomfort the first few days but nothing I could (or would) consider pain. It is subjective though since some peoples thresholds for pain are different. I will put it to you this way, if you are at a point in your lifes dental journey where you are contemplating all on 4, chances are you've experienced worse pain already. Infections, cavities, etc..... You've already had worse pain than this entire procedure will cause.
Hey. is your permament teeth in yet? how is it? i am doing the surgery next month to remove my remaining teeth and place temps. i am really scared but have to get it done.
Dr Gurs... THANK YOU. Too many younger dentists try to rush along and don't wait for the anesthetic. The dentist that extracted all of my teeth waited almost 20 minutes and added nitrous, and added more anesthetic if I gave him the signal that I was beginning to feel more than just the pressure(holding up two fingers) and he'd add more. Made it through my extractions just fine.
That's another BIG Thing about getting the 4 on 1 procedure MAKE SURE YOUR ORAL SURGEON is Certified/Qualified and trained (hands on) in doing it not someone that watched like a few videos on how to do it, as I hear there is some oral surgeons out there who are not really qualified to be doing those kind of surgeries but they attempt to do them anyways! There's a lot of places that claim they can do them but there not really trained and qualified to do them! i did it without iv sedation and although it is 'do-able' i would indeed suggest to do it under full sedation, hearing and feeling the doctor doing the procedure is not the best thing to experience. also you get so much numbing that your eyes get numb.

I was sedated for mine and got both upper and lower done. I was in A LOT of pain for weeks. I had some sort of pin put in the lower front section, but didn't find that out until a follow up appointment where I told them that my lower jaw ached so much it hurt to eat or drink. It took me well over a month to be pain free. I used all of my hydrocodone and wished I had more. "Some people just need a few advil", they told me. I WISH. There were times I cried, wondering what I'd done to myself. I've gone through 48 hours of back labor and a c-section in childbirth. The all-on-four procedure ranks as the #2 most painful thing I've ever experienced.
I’m on day 8 and have had serious pain . Ice packs every night , 2 ibuprofen and 2 extra strength Tylenol . Still suffering pain at 4-7” levels . Have a plans for after pain before your surgery .

Hi! I am a big fan. I was wondering if you could do a video on jaw misalignment and jaw surgery next? Sometimes orthodontics alone can’t fix it(in my case). Either way, love your videos!

I had 4 implants on the top and 4 on the bottom on 3-30-23 it’s 4-7-23 my mouth is still very sore and I still have slight swelling on my face and my bottom lip is still numb on the left side! I don’t know anyone can have this very invasive surgery and feel great 3 days later!
My husband needs implants and we were going to go to India because it’s cheaper than here in Australia but covid has ruined everything I wish you were here we would def pay you to do it ! 👍
Hello Dr Guess Sehmi, This probably isn't a common question and there's no easy way of asking about it, but what's your view and thoughts on someone who smokes marijuana going in for full all on 4 top and bottom and having local anaesthetics? I've personally stopped smoking it for the past 3 months, my bad teeth have been hurting and my anxiety is at its highest, is it best to stay sober for the local anaesthetics to hit the hardest during procedure, or does/will marijuana help the whole process? I don't want to have some form of tolerance when I decide to take the steps into the procedure, I also understand it could affect the bleeding (thinning the blood/increasing the heart rate) even though my anxiety already increases heart rate
I'm pretty much pain tolerant so not so bad but I'll say for some it could be. I took 800 Ibuprofen afterwards and gargle cold water to reduce inflammation
Mine was done 1/11/22 ...this is day 4 ... Day 1 was reallllllly Ruff.. I was fully sedated... Day 2,3 swelling is UNREAL.. Today swelling still present however I'm able to ignore the discomfort better. I'm doing liquids basically.. Everything else I try other than juicing, water, or apple juice -tastes weird.. i.e. mashed potatoes, or various soups.. Just wave the white flag already... Another point if female be proactive in asking for a yeast infection cure pill (diflucan, flucinazole etc.) The antibiotics can trigger one. Just fyi.. #goodLuckToAll
No you don’t speak English but ‘American’ - sometimes I watch an American made film (movie in your language) and can hardly understand them so I switch it off
Love your show but i am in week 5 recovery. OMG it hurt more then they told me. Day 4 to day 15 were horrable and I had 15 hydrocodone i used every one of them. Dont be fooled it hurts bad i was iv sedated so felt nothing intil after. Pain level was 10 for at least 5 days. Im a grown man in tears.
I had it done and it was pain free. I had it done because my teeth were all capped as I had gastric reflux all my life but by 70 they were gradually failing and after each extraction I was having dry socket which is unbearable. But absolutely no problems with my all on 4. I had waking sedation. I’d recommend it.
@@demonofelru3214 more or less. I was aware at the end but no pain. Kept trying to get out of the seat. There was an anaesthetist there until I was awake. Had something similar when I had a serious ankle and leg dislocation and fracture. Don’t remember the 14ml journey to hospital but I was apparently endlessly asking about my watch.
Hey Dr Gurs. I'm in the process of having all-on-4 done and I had immediate dentures done to start with. The problem is that the immediate dentures hurt quite a bit when biting down on anything and even when I try to drink. Additionally the roof section causes me to gag sometimes as well. I leave them out unless I go out somewhere but in getting all-on-4 my assumption is when chewing I'll be able have the pressure on the implants and not on the gums. Is this true? Also as far as after the healing process I assume there should be no pain during normal eating once the gums have healed. I truly hope this is the case as I really miss simple things like meats and whatnot.
But he sounds like a good dentist sand lighting situation don't let nobody kid you you're still going to have some discomfort and pain because you're doing surgery or doing some cutting and stitching and then you open up your mouth and open up your mom's as far as I can get it so you're going to have discomfort you won't even become from the chair sometime but that's just part of the procedure you do what you don't either have false teeth or you don't and there's no way I'm going to have regular
You could get them pulled at your County Health Department. That’s what I did. The charge was based on income. Get dentures online you get full set for. About $500 I don’t have dentures yet. My teeth were pulled seven months ago. I wear mask when I go places.
A few years ago, I was at my dentist (who was in my hs grad class, along with another dentist). He said I needed a root canal. I told him that was ok, to go ahead and do it. He said he just finished. I didn’t feel a thing! I still want iv sedation for the All on Four.
The ball is rolling for both myself and my wife to have the all-on4, I'm certain I'll need top and bottom and my wife maybe just the top, you're the expert so you can decide when it's time. I have had nothing but bad experiences with every dentist I've ever seen, but watching your videos as I have for the past week instills confidence in you. I think sadation will be the way forward for myself though, lets keep it 'simple' lol Hopefully (again when the time comes) it will be yourself that rebuilds out smiles and confidence. I look forward to the next step Dr Gurs :D
Hi! Did you get in touch from my website? If so, it will definitely be myself who will see you through all the treatment from start to finish. (Only in Wraysbury).
How do you pronounce your name? I want to see if my surgeon has ever heard of you, even though you are out of the states. Keep up the good work. Have you ever had anyone have a seizure before while you were working on them? Gratefully, Debbie.
Your voice is so calm I could listening that video all day👌 this procedure That's my dream I'm only 38 and I have lost most of my teeth as I had abusive relationship then without knowing my situation one dentist judge me. I been ashamed... then when I decided to fix it another bad thing (cancer of my mom) happened. Trying to help I can not stand financially on my feet to realise my dream... maybe one day...😔🤞
I don't care as much for the pain, I do care about the speech, you're changing the cavity that a person is used to use to generate phonetic sounds. I'm scared of being stuck with something that will change some speech pattern that will never go back to being what it was.
Dear Doctor Firstly thank you very much for replying to my previous questions. I've had all on 4 , top and bottom jaws and my own teeth extracted in Turkey last November 2021 Every thing seems to be okay with my temporary fixed bridges . But the top temporary bridge seems to be a tiny bit loose just a little with a clicking noise ? when I press it up with my fingers . Is this normal please ? I don't seem to have any infections and swelling has gone down with just a little discomfort at times. I take regular mouth washes and salt water too. I will appreciate your knowledge immensely Kind Regards from Dennis London.
Everyone perceives pain differently. With that said, of course it’s a painful healing process. It’s an invasive surgery, especially if you have extractions the same day.
I would have to disagree also with the perception of pain I got my procedure done I supposed to do bottom and top I guess I have a bad side effect to the anesthesia I woke up after they finish the top in delirium ran out of the building trust me I don’t remember anything so of course when I did the bottom two weeks later I knew I was going to be in pain and have to be up the whole time I thought it was gonna be worse or than what it really was so I went in thinking it was gonna be twice is bad but it was just a little uncomfortable
I've been terrified for few yrs just by watching dental videos, but watching you? I'm a lot more calm ....That's a good thing I also thought just giving a patient a 1/4-1/2 of a Xanax 30 min before Go Time, would keep them calm?
Dr. Gurs, I had two dental implants numbers 29 & 30 last March 2022. Do any of your patients who had dental implants ever asked you for full cast gold crowns for there posterior molars? If your patient wanted gold crowns for there lower molars and have amalgam in there upper molars how could you prevent galvanism.
Thank for these videos. My teeth are bad for a 29 year old, no missing ones but just misplaced and not straight and horrible colour. It’s affecting my life so much. I talk with my hand over my mouth. I don’t socialise with people because of it, I havnt even had a girl friend for 10 years I’m so shamed. I just want them all out and replaced. But it’s so Damn expensive in the UK! How much is it to get all your teeth removed and replaced with all on 4 for tap and bottom? I’m considering going abroad to get it done because I literally can’t let it affect my life any longer. It’s something I’ve wanted for a long long time and I need to get it done.
il swap any day lol Have 3 front teeth missing!...and yea it is a ripp off here in the uk. A FULL EVERY tooth excellent smile plus holiday thrown in is £4000-80000 .Turkey. Thats implants. Cosmetics in your case Much cheaper.
I've just had All on 4 on both arches in Turkey. The whole experience was not traumatic. I had IV sedation, didn't feel a thing and remember nothing. I was prescribed antibiotics and painkillers for the first few days. I was sore afterwards, but I expected it and took the painkillers. I had a lovely week in Turkey too. I couldn't afford to have it done in the UK so that wasn't an option.
I paid £5900 for top and lower arches, included pain killers, sedation, ice packs and transport to and from my hotel. I paid 70% of the cost initially and when I go back for my permanent teeth I'll pay the balance. I have to allow 3 months for my gums to heal before I can get my permanent teeth.
Why do so many of them for sale and people say other than to say do not get on board they are not good there’s not enough load for four implants per arch etc. etc. etc. typo not gonna fix hope you can decipher good nice to hear from you

Thank u so much for the videos. For a individual that has two missing teeth on both sides and a quit a large gap in the front two teeth . Can Braces be worn to close that front gap, If there is a partial there to replace those missing teeth on the side. Or is it better to get the braces first to close that front gap , then a partial or bridges for missing teeth in the future. I guess because the size of the front gap and Invisalign isn’t a option.
My husband just had this done and the dentist had to use 4 vials of anesthesia. My husband was in so much pain, it was barbaric. He has 12 stitches and they cut open half his mouth.
I have a hereditary dental issue where the teeth decay from the inside out, I have soft teeth and now at 42 I have teeth breaking right at the gum line but the root is still in tact. My back teeth are terrible unsaveable so I’ve been considering all on 4 for my top arch, proactively trying to avoid further pain, embarrassment etc. I’m young I’m a woman and I’m a business owner where I speak to clients daily. How I look matters, and I’ve been extremely self conscience, my smile has changed, and eating has been terrible. Not having dental coverage has made it difficult for me to do anything more than cleanings. The 8 teeth left on my top arch (all fronts) I’ve been told will eventually have the same issues my backs have. So to save more pain and suffering, time out of work etc, plus my health, would you recommend based on my info that I should get a consult for the all on 4?
My teeth were pulled seven months ago. At low income dental clinic. I like you have no insurance or savings. There are dentures online that full set. Is $400 and soon I will have my smile again. That is affordable and keeps me healthy. Implants our for people who have more money. Then I do and setting myself up. To go in for consultations for implants. That will easily cost $50,000. Which is more then my husband and I earn in year. Would be heartbreaking. My advice is you look at dentures that you can afford. That you subscribe to channels of people who wear dentures. Which is exactly what I did. People who already have. What I will soon have myself. Hopefully you take my advice.
I just got my call saying to come in for all the Pre-Op testing Clearances. If I pass all those, my surgery will be August 23rd-Monday. Please wish me well. I’ve had many surgeries, but none that frightens me more than this one. I’m not sure if you ever heard of IUMedical Center, but that is where I’m having it done. A Dr. Brown is doing the surgery, who I have never met before, just his Residences in Rotation. Praying I have no seizures, or heart attack or stroke (that has happened with me during different procedures). Blessings to you and your family. I will be sure to get on here and let you know how everything went. It might be a few weeks. Gratefully, Mrs. Debbie Feighner/ Fort Wayne, Indiana
It hurts… period.. they cant give me enough vicodin to keep it quelled. When they place the temps, they are putting massive pressure on your swollen gum tissue. Thats the worst part.
I could sit watching your videos all day in tears, but even ur voice is soothing. I had a very bad experience, someone came to my home to do a whitening session. She burnt my gums with bleach as it ran down the back of mouth. I have lost every tooth past my eye teeth 😩 could u do a smile makeover for me, I could give u a kidney.... do u need a kidney 🙏🏼☺️
Good explanations, thanks Dr Gurs, I'm considering this treatment as an alternative to dentures, but I still have questions. My friend had this done about 3 years ago, but the dentist has never removed them since the treatment. Can the bridges be left in forever, or do they need annual removal & inspection? I think he is worried that the screws may stick or seize up & they may not come out easily if left for too long. Can this happen?
With the advance in science and medicine these days, you'd think they'd find another way to numb the gums etc without going through these horrific, evil, agonising nasty needles injections!!! I mean they can take an entire eyeball out with a small eye drop.. Also why cant you just inject a bit more in when the patient starts ro feel it ???????
@@Natalie82170 because my roots are healthy on most of my teeth, so those teeth that had root canals were in preparation for crowns, if placing a crown a root canal is essential. The 4 implants were for my rear molars, only a bad or greedy dentist will remove healthy teeth as implants can and in most cases do eventually recede below the gum line leaving a nasty gap. I have had both upper and lower full restoration. More expensive than all on 4 but definitely worth it.
@@aberdeendeltaforce I'm sorry your dentist is a quack. You absolutely do not need a root canal for a crown unless the damage to your tooth/teeth has reached the pulp. Also, root canals increase cancer and dementia risk. Furthermore, if the implants are done right and if you take care of your gums, they do NOT recede and leave a gap. Who told you this? Either way, it's definitely not true. It's FAR safer to remove a tooth than to do a root canal. I'm completely blown away that you had 17 root canals when your roots were healthy. I'm so sorry : (
Funny I started watching your videos after I got my all on for implants wishing I would’ve got it done by you but make the video is a little shorter Sometimes I feel like Your beat around the bush and keep explaining yourself over and over starting to annoy me
A millionaire then.. by the charges you lot charge..... tell me.. you can do an entire jaw with zirconium implants and a 20 yr warranty, all the x rays and transfers included, the hotel, follow ups, computerised side.. bla bla.. for €2400??????? MORE LIKE £240,000
£15,000 = usd $20,774.18 it sounds a lot cheaper than here in the United States. Just might have to take a trip to this dentist than the one here in California.🤔

Hey, how long did it take you to heal? i am gettting all my remaining teeth removed next month and will be placing implants & getting temps
the surgery does not hurt but you will experience moderate pain and discomfort for almost two weeks afterwards
My husband needs implants and we were going to go to India because it’s cheaper than here in Australia but covid has ruined everything
I wish you were here we would def pay you to do it !
What are the possible implications after the Implants?
I'm American & beginning to wonder if I actually speak English. Nice voice.. Not to British. Excellent Speaking Voice & use of Language.
This is excellent! Thank you!
My pain tolerance is probably super high. Now when it comes to my teeth or mouth the local pain killers work for about 20-30 min.
I had it done and it was pain free. I had it done because my teeth were all capped as I had gastric reflux all my life but by 70 they were gradually failing and after each extraction I was having dry socket which is unbearable. But absolutely no problems with my all on 4. I had waking sedation. I’d recommend it.
So you were awake but out of it?
@@demonofelru3214 more or less. I was aware at the end but no pain. Kept trying to get out of the seat. There was an anaesthetist there until I was awake. Had something similar when I had a serious ankle and leg dislocation and fracture. Don’t remember the 14ml journey to hospital but I was apparently endlessly asking about my watch.
@@barbaraannemitchell2911 Alright thanks, I am likely going to have this procedure done soon and am kinda nervous.
This is very informative video, Thank you very much Doctor.
Love mine
I would have thought ibuprofen would be a no no because it can cause more bleeding .
Thank you very much for this information. Greetings from the Netherlands 😉
Please consider doing mine pro bono. Cant afford each tooth here in the states being pulled n implants and crowns. Need this done 🥺
Gratefully, Debbie.
not true, I was completely relaxed and happy and confident morning of....(had a great experience)
Trying to help I can not stand financially on my feet to realise my dream... maybe one day...😔🤞
If you have a dental school near you try them, most times they specialize in this procedure and for half the cost
Google and see if there are any charities that restore smiles. For victims of domestic violence.
I don't care as much for the pain, I do care about the speech, you're changing the cavity that a person is used to use to generate phonetic sounds. I'm scared of being stuck with something that will change some speech pattern that will never go back to being what it was.
Exactly
Dear Doctor
Firstly thank you very much for replying to my previous questions.
I've had all on 4 , top and bottom jaws and my own teeth extracted in Turkey last November 2021
Every thing seems to be okay with my temporary fixed bridges .
But the top temporary bridge seems to be a tiny bit loose just a little with a clicking noise ? when I press it up with my fingers . Is this normal please ?
I don't seem to have any infections and swelling has gone down with just a little discomfort at times.
I take regular mouth washes and salt water too.
I will appreciate your knowledge immensely
Kind Regards from Dennis London.
I’ve had the all on 4 procedure done; it hurts don’t be fooled
Hi John! After 10 months perpective, was it worth it ? And are you happy either the results now ? Thank you for your feedback !
Don't let nobody hit you there is going to be some pain I know I went through it I'm still going through it
I’m in the USA northeast and wish I could find a oral surgeon as good as Dr.Gurs
I am in the USA south east,I have seen 4 so far and still looking, I am not even looking for the cheapest option !
I am going to get them done
I've been terrified for few yrs just by watching dental videos, but watching you? I'm a lot more calm ....That's a good thing
I also thought just giving a patient a 1/4-1/2 of a Xanax 30 min before Go Time, would keep them calm?
You shoukd quit dentistry and join media... look at your soothing voice.
the oldest protocol case you've ever done lasted how long. And how many implants were in each arch?
Dr. Gurs,
I had two dental implants numbers 29 & 30 last March 2022.
Going abroad would be a great idea. But find someone who's experienced in full mouth implants so you won't have complications.
il swap any day lol Have 3 front teeth missing!...and yea it is a ripp off here in the uk.

Sega Abdul....I had the same question.
Did you ever get the answer???
My husband just had this done and the dentist had to use 4 vials of anesthesia. My husband was in so much pain, it was barbaric. He has 12 stitches and they cut open half his mouth.
How is your husband feeling now???
I wish you were in my town Leeds Yorkshire and I thinking of the same dentures😊😟
Sir jut wondering how much will a single Molar teeth Cost in India ..like minimum...
I had all my upper teeth removed 3 months ago so I wonder if it's less painful. Thanks
It probably will be quicker and it shouldn't be painful
Hi may I ask a question: are you doing sinys lifting and approximate How much doest it Cost?? Thanks a lot
@DrGuhrSehmi how much on top of your treatment are you looking at for sedation?
The most painful part of the procedure was the injection.
I had this done last Monday and my chin is still totally numb is this correct..my dentist said the xray looked all good on thursday
It hurts… period.. they cant give me enough vicodin to keep it quelled. When they place the temps, they are putting massive pressure on your swollen gum tissue. Thats the worst part.
Did you have the teeth extracted the same day? I had all my upper teeth removed 3 months ago so I wonder if it's less painful. Thanks
Thank you
I could sit watching your videos all day in tears, but even ur voice is soothing.
How much is a All in 4?
Starts from £15000 +
What if you bruise easily? Will your face be black and blue afterwards?
Most likely. For about a week

Thanks for sharing 👍
I would have sedation if i had to do it again.
Can I be put to sleep ?
I hope so or I won't be able to do it.
@@CourageousDreamerAllon4journey you can it just costs more
Dr Gurs has beautiful set of teeth
Had this done and ended up with trigeminal neuralgia.
where are you located to do this work an how much is it
Start with sedation…. Dont just say… Im thinking of doing more sedation …… it should be automatic!
Of course
local sedation - no way. I would need to be out.
Hi 💫From The Sky 💫
Yes they hurt!!!
New topic request all-on-6
With the advance in science and medicine these days, you'd think they'd find another way to numb the gums etc without going through these horrific, evil, agonising nasty needles injections!!! I mean they can take an entire eyeball out with a small eye drop.. Also why cant you just inject a bit more in when the patient starts ro feel it ???????
I just had 17 root canals 4 implants on left an right lower jaw and 4 extractions….it wasn’t painful, it was absolutely horrific 😩
Why not just get all on 4 and skip the root canals? Root canals are bad for you.
I'm so sorry : (
Go there a few times, you say? At 100 bucks a visit? Sure pal. Hypnotize me some money to pay for that….
I took 2 halcion pills before surgery.. no need for needles. And Ill be damned if someone will “hypnotize” me instead of giving me meds lolololol wow!
Ca. £15.000 ? 😱 O.K. change the video, not for the normal Joe
Right? Ridiculous.
MORE LIKE £240,000
No... I think his Surgery would charge about £30,000 plus extras. I think.
£15,000 = usd $20,774.18 it sounds a lot cheaper than here in the United States. Just might have to take a trip to this dentist than the one here in California.🤔
Go to Hungary! £5.000/arch
