I just came across your channel last night when I saw Tim Watson’s winter trip to Oil Creek. I live in eastern Ohio, across the River from Wheeling. I just watched the Grand Vue video. Both of my kids went to Cedarville Univ so I actually camped at John Bryan while visiting. My son now lives in Kettering so I am familiar with your area.

That is awesome! I grew up in Kettering and have a lot of friends who attended Cedarville.
      Thanks for watching!!

Thanks, my friend! I love this place and I'm really an idiot for not going more since it's less than 30 minutes from my house.
I've got some more awesome adventures on the way, including Red River Gorge and (hopefully) Whispering Cave and Corkscrew Falls at Hocking HIlls (still waiting on the permit for Boch Nature Preserve).

Love going here....and nice that its so close to home. However, if you go at the wrong time it can be over run by too many people so we try to avoid weekends for sure. It is very beautiful though!

Yes, it's one of my favorite places close to home.

The Blue Hole wasn't too blue this trip. 8-)
    Pretty cool area!

Nope, the water was pretty brown because of the high levels. I've never seen the park like that before.
      Thanks for watching!

Another great video. While in Ohio this past June I walked the Clifton Gorge trail. I started in Clifton Mill and walked to that bridge, which was open, but the trail across the bridge was closed. I shot lots of great still photos from my hike and plan to do John Bryan next time in Ohio.

Thank you! It's a nice park for sure and my favorite seasons to visit are summer and fall. I'll try to get back sometime in Oct or Nov for the colors.
      Thanks for watching!
