We always try to visit the surrounding area when we are camping somewhere new. Do you do that too or do you tend to just stay in the campground?
My wife and l visited several times . The Spring Hotel with its nostalgic charm . A cozy location outside of Yellow Springs. We enjoyed some time at their fire ring .
Thank you for sharing! It’s such a nice area with so much to do! We need to check out the hotel! Safe travels and thanks for leaving a comment- we love hearing about others adventures! - Mike and Shelley
We love that area! Little fun fact, I Joni, rollerbladed from Xenia to Yellow Spring and back, 18miles. It was years ago, but a great memory!
Wow! That's amazing! It is a great trail and I would like to ride more of it, but on my bike not roller blades. Lol
Great place to visit! Have not been there yet!! Great video guys!! Hope you have a great week!
Thanks for your support! Safe travels! - Mike and Shelley
Looks like my type of place
There is plenty to do for sure. The only disappointing thing is that you can’t take dogs to the Clifton Gorge Nature Preserve so Rick would have to stay back for that 👎
@@campinwiththeconfers They always discriminate against dogs when dogs are the best thing ever.
Very nice!
Thanks!
We've been to the mill at Christmas time and it is beautiful. They really do have that many lights. Never eaten at the restaurant though. We need to make a trip when it's not Christmas
And we need to go back when it is Christmas!
We really need to go check out John Bryan it looks like a fun area!!
It really is, so much to do and so pretty!
It’s great to see our neighborhood from someone else’s perspective! Yellow Springs is a fantastic village. ❤❤
We really enjoy the area. We will definitely be back.

I’m not sure why they didn’t mention Caesar Creek Vineyard in Xenia, Ohio. Not too far from Yellow Springs. They have wine tastings, events, a food truck, and you can take a beautiful stroll through the grounds.
They were actually closed when we were there so we didn’t get to visit! Thanks for the info though- we will be sure to check it out when we return based on your recommendation! - Mike and Shelley
Yellow Springs and the area is such an interesting place. I've been to all of your top five while visiting my son and his family. Glad you enjoyed the area.
Thanks Gary, it is a beautiful area. The hiking is phenomenal!
