- In the final installment of Puppy Diaries 15-week-old Ren learns a couple of new behaviours, including backward steps and a switch, along with lots of chaining and stacking of cues PLUS two photoshoots including going to "work" officially for the very first time. This week she also consolidated her hold behaviour, went off leash in the city, and generally was a legend ❤️
🚨 PLEASE watch Week 1, you must know the foundations, our ethos, AND why you should not get this breed of dog, especially if you are not committed to (or enjoy!) daily training sessions for the next 15 years, management of behaviours, have at least one "job" for the dog to do. These dogs are not pets, they are working machines and will become dangerous and destructive if not prepared for life or managed properly. I so enjoyed watching her learn “go back” I was cheering her on! These were great vids and I’m sad to see them be finished but happy that she graduated. I’m sure you have other vids coming and will be anxiously awaiting them. Well done guys!

Can't believe it's the end already! 😢 I've really enjoyed this series and watching her develop.
Quick question - in episode 1 or 2, you mentioned her not being left alone fully and having some time semi -alone in her den... At what point do you or did you leave her at home without either of you? If you do, does she stay alone fully or with the other dogs? Just asking ready my next poopy as separation anxiety is a horrible thing to have to deal with.
Is she part malinois? We have a GSD but I used to train hunting dogs for a living. Smartest dogs ever. Definitely need to be worked daily.
She is a Mali, we said in week 1 we’d refer to her as a GSD mix to those who didn’t know the breed and their ways so it’s stuck as an in joke - you’re in now!
