Finally! I can become the comedically posh Englishman I've always wanted to be!
Your work is very much appreciated, Matt. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this new app! It's really useful. I've been practicing this morning :)
So pleased to hear it!
Amazing work! I love everything phonetics! I am really interested in all kinds of accents, so I'd be really interested in having other set of vowels to compare :)
Amazing! Thank you for your video
Please do more videos on rp accent!
You sound wonderfully posh!
You're really great! Keep working:)
I love you Matt. I must comment to make your video popular.
Brilliant Matt!! It seems like you mentally got into character of a posh English lady walking her poodle down Kensington road and wrinkling her nose to all that awful riffraff!
Superb!!
PLEASE, realease an iOS version, Matt. Thank you in advance!
You are so generous always :)! Unfortunately I can't use this app.. Thank you for your work!
this is basically a David Mitchell impersonation class. And that is fucking brilliant and spot-on. Thanks mate
Great vid, thanks, you're great at explaining! If only you could also help me with my Typescript homework....

I have finally found a remedy for my poor accent and I can get rid of mediocrity
Is this app still available? Link does not work☺️
I definitely hear the Royal Family with this specific accent. Quite.
I have tried many times to download the app from you but it doesn't work. It shows me errors. Please provide me a new link with what I can download your suggested app. Please sir

Tha app is not working at all on my phone, is there specific requirements?
Hi Matt. May you please make this "Posh" Accent app for iOS. I am willing to pay an one time fee as long as it allows to record myself too to compare my "bad" accent with the correct "British" accent.
I was thinking the same thing
What is the name of the app plzzzz anybody tell me I can't open the link
Is this not on App Store for iPhone?
I have problem in s and g j so please help to solve the problem
Any for the apple store?
So beautiful accent is more than the teeth.
So basically, posh accent is when you don’t open your mouth too much while talking.
Exactly !!!!
in My English accent I don’t open my mouth much while talking I keep my jaw less open and a bit more closed
Is this app still available sir?
Do you offer private online classes?
Please sir, how will I get the app
yay! finally something only for androids!
The app shut down when i open it?
iTunes pleaseeee!!!
Do u speak a posh accent in here or just a normal accent
APP does not work, has it been deleted??
may i know the name of the app please?
Don't think you told us the name of the app
iOS version???
Wish it was iOS too
iOS?
What's the app name ??
I wish it was for iPhone 😢
Would you preform audiobooks?
Sure!
A happy family, we play with accents at home and in the wider world accents will become more important. Audiobooks are the future and they pay well. This is a worthy channel.
Perhaps Modern RP might be suitable for today's practicality.
I speak English with a very posh accent I was born in 2002 and I learned this accent when I was 10 years old
@@lucindawinehouse2002
Perhaps I must put it in posh English:
Top o' the morning to you madam, I shall verily like to converse with you in Oxford English.. Thank you
Hi Matt...very interesting video..
Did you say that you do private lessons??
Do you have an email address please
Sallyann Andrade
Les blancs vous exagérez , vous changez encore l'anglais aaaaaaaaaaaa
app doesn't work
No iOS app? :(
I know man - no Macs in my house so I can't code in iOS yet...
When I was in Secondary School I had to learn how to speak with this accent because my technology teacher spoke with a Posh RP Accent
My school was Hazel Grove High School in which is in Northwest England.
And now I’m 20 years old I have noticed that my voice has become posher since I’ve left school (I left school in 2019)
Noble accent you say? ....
... Well, when you're done with learning your best *posh accent* . Just pop down to the place the *Antique Roadshow* is visiting and join the a group of posh old folks that are admiring antique deadly *metal spears* , rejoicing at the thought of how much damage they would do... Like in this episode:
ruclips.net/video/vsAVvzVXa7I/видео.html
The old lady at the end literally says:
*you twist it and you pull the inside out at the same time*
🤪 Yikes!
Does it have Cockney???
please don't tell me it doesn't have
It certainly will do - but my plan is to do videos like this to help you get to grips with words that change from RP into Cockney. So you'll be able to star all the words that change into Cockney and give them a go. How does that sound?
It sounds awesome, I can't wait to use your app :} :P xdd
Yusuf Paiman Just released lol
This is a lesson in how to sound absolutely ridiculous. For "heightened rp" read "very old fashioned rp". I live in a posh part of London and no-one speaks like this!
You're totally right, dude - hardly anyone these days talks like this. Except - lots of actors need this accent for 18th Century plays and period pieces in film. So you're right - pretty ridiculous.
OK, yes for period drama, but not for current contemporary speech. If I heard someone speaking like this in Chelsea (where I live), I would assume the person was being provocative.
Totally - I'm in Hammersmith, just the next borough!
Hi Matt. Reading again my comments from yesterday, I must have come across sounding rather terse. I apologise, it must have been the anticipated excitement of the Eurovision Song Contest! Regards, Ross
Ross Stratford-Cavendish No worries - thanks for replying! Hope you enjoyed Eurovision!
With all due respect, your RP pronunciation sounds like a language that hasn't even been invented yet, though Australians may have been involved at some point.
Is there an iOS version?
