Funny injury story:
So once before school, my friends and I were playing tag. Everything was fine until I needed to get to the safe zone from “it”.
Anyway I was almost there, when my foot twisted as it was already in the motion of running. I fell to the ground in pain and kinda screaming. 😂
I ended up having a sprained foot, and the worst thing was, that it was right before the big test for writing. :/

"The throw up thing" is real! I've broken 2 ribs in 3 places over 15 years ago and it still hurts. I also sprained my big toe so bad I thought it was broken, x-rays showed it wasn't broken. It still hurts like I broke it so to me whatever soft tissue damage occurs it doesn't stop hurting, like my broken heart.
I had a broken arm and it frickin hurt like the bone went out of my arm but I never felt like I was going to get sick or something all I felt was lots of pain Oof btw lovvveeedd the vid

Worst pain I've ever been through was when I was in an argument with my brother and I was about to go to his room and he slammed his door when my hand was in his doorframe. That was the one time his door actually closed (it was a broken door). I didn't break my hand or fingers but my whole hand had to be casted because my fingers were zigzag shaped. It sucked but I was called the war hero at school for a while because of my cast lmao

That made me remember a time when I was going to a gas station with my dad in his truck and slammed the door on my thumb. It was also between the door and the lock/hole to connect them. I remember I want to yell out for my dad bc he didn’t know what happened and was still walking towards the door of the station. The only reason I didn’t was bc there was a guy walking either to or from the station and I didn’t want to embarrass myself even more. It was sore and kinda swollen for a little while after that. Ow

This experience happened when I was too little to even remember any part of this story (2-3 years old). Thankfully my parents told me and I was wondering how I could not remember. It happened when my family was on vacation and my family loves to go houseboating but as a curious child I would crawl around the house in fascination. Then out of no where I fall down a spiral staircase but this is no ordinary staircase its a steel one. I fall practically landing on each step and when I reach the bottom I break my collar bone. My parents eventually found not to shorty after the incident and see me still but not crying surprisingly. While we were on this trip my family loves to invite family friends to join us and one of them was a firefighter who gave me a neck brace at the marina to keep me from hurting my self unintentionally but they didn't have any in my size as a 2-3 year old. I did go to the hospital where I got treatment and the bone healed over time. Never have broke another bone ever since.

I am 16 and have been to my hospitals emergency room 21 times and counting, most of these are stitches but about 4 of them our fractures or sprains.

I broke my wrist when I was in 1st grade. But the bright side is that i learned to be left handed for a while. Then my wrist healed and learned to be right handed again.
But a couple days ago. I fell off the very bottom step of my stairs and spranged my foot. Because I turned around too fast.
My toe broke when a football player kicked it. It didn't exactly hurt. It just felt extremely uncomfortable. I had to walk from the gym, to the locker room, change, walk to the bus, ride the bus home, get off the bus, wait for the neighbor's kid, set him up and help him start homework, then to the bathroom. Once I got to the bathroom, I dropped everything and dropped my entire foot into the tub with cold water. 30 minutes later, my mom came home, and I told her what happened and showed her. Surprisingly, it still didn't hurt, and it didn't change color. It was just a red color, like if it's hot and you walk too much. My mom took me to a clinic for an xray they said they have (though after 2 hours waiting, we were told they didn't have), and while waiting, I think the adrenaline or something finally left, because it hurt so much. I couldn't even put my foot on the ground. I had to either be in a wheel chair, or my mom or sister had to hold one side of me as I hopped on the other foot. Waiting for the x-ray was one of the worst pains I've had
I remember HATING the bouncy obstacle courses in grade school. At the end of the year they would set up a "fun day" where we spent the entire day outside "having fun" and there was a bouncy obstacle course we had to go through. It wasn't a choice, you and a few other people would swap activities throughout the day and you could either sit in the burning heat and be bored for an hour or play on the obstacle course. Every time id go on them id start crying because theyd make us keep our socks on and i couldnt get up the climbing wall since the things you climb up are smooth and squishy, so my child brain would think "oh, im stuck here forever, im gonna die here."
Plus if you took too long the teachers would just send the next kids in line in even if you were still in the way, so my anxiety would skyrocket lol. I just never understood the fun in those things :")
I broke my arm when I was 5. It wasn't even from anything traumatic either. No car crash, no falling down the stairs....I literally was just running across a playground and I slipped and broke my arm. The next day my brother fell down the stairs and was completely fine! I was thinking "I can't run across a yard without getting hurt but he can fall down an entire flight of stairs?" And also the throw up thing for me was real.

When you break a bone you may not feel pain immediately, but nausea will almost always feel nauseous on impact if theres a fracture, or some people may pass out.

I got a prolapsed disk when I turned 18, it was so chronically painful I needed back surgery. I pray I will never go through that again.

I have never broken a bone, sprained myself, strained myself or fractured myself. But I have had MANY concussions and cuts and scrapes like I've fell a lot of times.
Okay. The real way you can tell if a bone is broken is:
1. It's purple
2. It hurts to put it in certain positions
3. OwWWWwWWwWWWwWWwWWwWWw MY BONE!!!
The trick my elementary school did when we had to do “Star Testing” (yea who remembers those?) is Uuh they say that we get a special reward if we meet a certain level. And 4th grader me got a 7th grade score, so that means I got pulled out of class the next day just to party with the other “Cool”, “Smart”, or just friends. THERE WOULD BE ICE CREAM AND JUMPERS AND UUUUUUUGH I MISS THOSE
If he thinks that hurts, he should labor over one drawing of Hatsune Miku for 2 hours and then have to walk around his whole house as a break only for his wrist to feel 19% better. _It ain't fun._

Some really bad pain was the process of numbing my toe to remove my ingrown toenail.
5 injections with anesthetics and freeze spray and cleaning alcohol into my veins for 30 seconds each.

I broke my wrist when I was around10 years old yet I don’t remember feeling sick just a extreme amount of pain and crying. When the pain subsided and was waiting at the hospital to see a doctor I started to wave and fling my hand about in sick joy. I was a weird kid and I’m still am lol.

There are actually sprains that can hurt more than actually breaking bones! Sprains are in degrees, and certain 4th degree ankle sprains can hurt more than breaks!

If I were to describe breaking a bone I don’t remember it much because it was in preschool but I think I remember it being just so sore or painful or whatever to the point where I just didn’t understand what kind of pain it was. I can’t remember the pain but I remember crying so much
I broke my hand while lifting weights for basketball practice. I had no choice but to continue working out until my sister on the team managed to convince her to let me call my foster parent about it...which took a little over 30 minutes after the break. It was awful.

I broke my collarbone when I was a kid, it hurt a lot and I cried for two hours but I didn't feel like I was going to throw up. I fell out of bed, I had to wear a brace for 7 weeks. I did have an incident on an inflatable obstacle course too two years later though. I was too slow and the next group went and somebody kicked me on my bad shoulder on the way down the slide part. I didn't break anything that time but they told me the bone was bruised and I had to wear a sling for a few days, it didn't hurt as bad though because I could actually move it but barely. It still hurts from time to time, it's actually flaring up today
I have broken my wrist. I also sprained my ankle (twice in the span of a month lmao that’s fun) I didn’t feel the whole throwing up feeling I was more focused on the fact that I had a band concert that they wouldn’t let me sit out on that same day. I had to figure out how to play the trumpet one handed and then my dad yeeted me to the hospital from the in school concert. The pain in the wrist was definitely worse then the ankle. Though the second time hurt like a bitch cause my ankle wasn’t completely healed from the first time

Ive broken a few fingers when I was younger, it definitely hurt but it wasn't "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-!" bad.
I broke my foot not too long ago, it felt like normally twisting your ankle but the pain lasted longer than 10 mins. That’s when I realized I had broke my ankle
I’ve sprained the same ankle 5 times and fractured said ankle once. I now have a weak ankle with a permanent fracture that only acts up with a ton of activity or in the cold. Needless to say, I don’t do a lot of sports anymore lol 😂

My foot got stuck in the middle of the wheel,and my feet literally turned all the way back,i think that was the biggest pain that i felt)

I sprained my ankle really bad because I was reading a book and pacing around (I do this a lot because sitting still is hard). Yeah, I ended up walk/falling down a flight of stairs and no one was around so I had to like army crawl back to the stairs and sit for quite some time.
I've never broken a bone thankfully, but when I was in 4th grade I was over at my friends house and I fell off their trampoline and hurt my ankle. I went to the hospital to get it checked and I literally thought I broke my ankle, but it was just sprained. It actually only hurt for like 2 or 3 days after that and I was perfectly fine, I was even walking on it like a day after I went to the hospital (it hurt tho lol). It's strange too because I have very brittle bones (I have some form of arthritis and a vitamin D deficiency) XD
I broke my arm playing duck duck goose... I went to stretch my arm and laid it on the grass and that’s when my cousin ran by(goose) and stepped directly on my arm. I was in first grade I don’t remember much but the immediate release of adrenaline allowed me to whip my arm close to me I remember feeling my body go into a shakey state and screaming out in agony and of course crying. My dad ran over to see what was wrong I couldn’t form words just kept pointing at my arm and cousin so he got frustrated and yelled me for pulling him away from his friends that he was playing soccer with. I went to bed and woke up with my arm being a DARK purple and my mom attempted to move it to which I screamed (obvi) so she took me to the hospital the doctor had to have me move my arm straight cause I had it to my chest and didn’t move it as I slept I screamed and moving it I could feel the nerves in my body contract and just this indescribable pain shoot I’m the right side of my body. But uh yea it was very unpleasant.
tbh i broke my bone in my right arm, and i didn't fell anything, until i realized that i couldn't pick up stuff with my right hand without massive pain, by holding an ice cream, and then i was sad i didn't get ice cream, and my friend was sad because there was ice cream on his carpet.

I broke my pinky toe once I was in elementary school. At the dinner table at home I was swinging feet and my pinky toe made impact with the wall (it's like sitting at a bar ig, not exactly a moveable table). I broke my pinky toe and it was so painful. Since I was young it healed fast I just couldn't wear closed toe shoes.

reason: me being and idiot and jumping off a bunk bed to a smaller bed (which was not good)
