Hiya Anna, I love you and all your content and this vloggy made me smile xx I wanted to say, with love, that DOMS isn’t actually caused by lactic acid or buildup of it! It’s caused by micro-tears in your muscles which happens when you train/lift and push yourself, and also the subsequent inflammatory response! It’s likely that you worked hard in your hyrox sesh xx and DOMS is so so common especially in hypertrophy training but basically any resistance training your body isn’t used to/adapted to! It can last up to a week or thereabouts, but will ease with stretching, good hydration, good sleep and enough protein for repair :)). Foam rolling can also help. You can likely still run to plan, although it will be tougher than without DOMS, and actually getting blood flow to the muscles can help ease the stiffness and soreness, but it’s really about how you feel xx I hope this helps ❤❤❤

When I have a mental health day you really remind me I’m not alone as it seems our minds work the same. ( I probably have ADHD to) it’s so hard to understand myself and why I’m always so anxious. You don’t understand how much you help me not just to get better but your career is exactly what I want in life ❤
I love twizzlers for my long runs! Don’t know if they have them in the UK but there is probably something similar! Also popcorn probably won’t be the best as it is high in fiber and may cause some stomach problems during exercise. Watched this video during my workout today! ☺️
