I just love how Sylvia and Yetta have welcomed the Sheffield family into theirs from the start of the show. Plus let’s face it, the Sheffield children have a stronger bond with the Fine grandparents instead of with Maxwell’s and Sara’s parents.

I love Yetta so much 💀 she’s just all there enough to pull pranks with Brighton but not there enough to recognize which door her daughters coming in
I’m sorry Yetta passed away. She was honestly a comedy legend. I almost feel like I never want to see all the episodes, just in hopes there’s always more of her.
She was also in Grumpier Old men. She was wonderful in that as well. Not as great as the Yetta character but it is lovely to see her more ❤️
It me several years to realize Yetta was Millie Halper on the Dick Van Dyke Show.

Sylvia was always my favorite character ❤ I'm 36 and I realize I have taken heavy influence from her wardrobe. Her clothes are still cute and classic.
She is my fave too...I loved the show in general but I enjoy it even more when she's on. I remember back when there was no streaming, waiting anxiously on TV for the episodes to come on, and then being so happy and excited when the credits read: Special guest Renee Taylor

Aww it doesn't show the part when Fran inhaled the helium from the balloon 🤣 And ever notice how when we see Sylvia outside the door, the doorbell rings but she doesn't even move her arms? LOL. I also noticed 2 instances in this episode where they nearly flubbed their lines, when Grace asks Fran why they're practicing for the "surprise" party and when Fran mentions her Herb Alpert album.
