About The Nanny:
Fran Drescher stars as Fran Fine, a street-smart young woman with a face out of Vogue and a voice out of Queens who stumbles onto the opportunity to become nanny to the children of a wealthy widower, Maxwell Sheffield. Soon Fran, with her offbeat nurturing and no-nonsense honesty, touches Maxwell as well as the kids.
#TheNanny #90s #FranFine
I love how CC actually imitates “the walk” 🤣
Hey..... couldn't hurt to learn from Yetta right~? ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯
She always got along with Yetta lol. The more I watch the more ya gotta love C.C lol
Goodness, I never noticed that!
Everytime I see this I say ... You better walk Yetta... Teach these younguns something! #BOOM 💥🔥💯☠️😂🤣😅
I wonder if that was unscripted since they cut away from it so quickly
“It’s all body language, watch the walk”
And then C.C. does it
"I'm sorry I'm late.I had to dig up a brassiere that hooks in the front."😂
"Oh, let me tell her in lieu of a Christmas bonus." I just love how messing up with C.C. was a higher priority for Niles than making ends meet.
CC imitating how Yetta walks lmao!!
« It’s all body language ! Watch the walk... » 😆
oh man, Yetta is a Goddess 👑 (remember her sweater ?)
The part when Niles eating burger and in between max and Fran 😂😂😂😂😂
Oh man, now I could go for a burger.
Who else loved Maxwell's expression change from excitement to horror?
This show did a pretty good job at having people in their 60s act like people in their late 80s for the role.
Huh?
@@Hellraiser0601 Both Yetta and Dakota were played by an actress and an actor in their 60s. Their characters are in their 80s.
Well, so did the Golden Girls
@@enthusedtosing9655 I never watched the Golden Girls so I don't know how old the women are. But I do know enough of the show that Estelle Getty played a significantly older woman.
@@AngelusBrady
She did!
I guess they want to be sure the actresses will be able to fulfil a potentially endlessly long engagement..
On the other hand, having to _act_ older is a test to an actress' mastery of the job, and I have to say A. Guilbert is amazing at it!
I just need to point out the subtleties of CC's character. She's so driven, shallow and coldblooded she has no problem admitting ANYTHING if it'll ger her to get what she wants. /SHE TURNS ME ON) That's excellent writing AND acting.
Same. She's hot inside and out. I want her & Mr sheffeild. Both are hot. 🔥
Also, Sylvia and yetta Crack me up. Love Rene taylor
I love the walk...body language 😂😂
CC's laughter is amazing!
“What? No good?” 😂
Yetta was so funny. The chemistry on the show made it work.
For those too young to know this, the character here "Dakota Williams" is supposed to be (I'm assuming) the famous playwright Tennessee Williams, creator of the plays "The Glass Menagerie" and "Cat on a hot tin roof." Like Dakota, Tennessee was also Southern, and a bit eccentric. And to complicate matters, he was actually from Mississippi, not the state of Tennessee.
I believe *A Streetcar Named Desire* is his most famous work.
@@musicaltheatergeek79 You're right. I knew there was a very famous one I left out!
But wasn't Tennesee Williams gay?
@@brucheweinberger6863 he was, yeah!
Once again, Fran screws up in reverse! :)
I like the way C.C. does the walk 🚶♀️
I love Yetta!
What's funny is almost every show you wonder will Mr. Sheffield kill the nanny! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 run Fran! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Poor Niles.always stuck in the middle.i love the way Yetta said "Girdle"
Yetta and Dakota comparing irregular body parts is gross but hilarious at the same time! 🤣😜🙈
And accurate!
hillarious episode!!!
also took me a while to realise - 'Dakota Williams' is obvs a reference to Tennessee Williams, a famous US playwright :)))
This show was too funny. Still laughing.
2:52 C.C. was hysterical hahahaha 3:16 walking the walk
"CC I prefer to do this without any witnesses." ...... We're still talking about killing, right?
God, I will forever love this show.
Love this show!
same
Age appropriate fix ups... fabulous 💋💋💋
1:13 Charles Shaughnessy put everything he had into that Burger King counter and i loved it.
Fran is gorgeous
could've, would've, should've - the last thing Fran said I didn't get??
But didn't
@@dharshkwon aaah, thank you 😊
@@barcelona12ist no problem:)
Love Fran's dress!!😎
I love seeing George Murdoch he played two parts in Barney Miller, one Lieutenant Scallon, and to me my real favourite Master Sergeant JR Rivelle
Hysterical!
😍 I just love this song
Yetta smoking a cigarette. HYSTERICAL!!! We can't do that now
Oh! One of those people. Are we still allowed to go outside or watch RUclips in your world?
watched this episode today!
I just love Yetta❤
Oh look who's here. Bob's big boy. Hahaha
Wasn't he also Fran's Great uncle lawyer? 😆
He wasn't. Dakota Williams was played by George Murdock. Fran's great uncle was played by Milton Berle.
That was a totally different person.
It's the hands for me! Go Yetta!
Lieutenant Scanlon of Barney Miller.
I fucking love Yetta
Seasons one and two are on Tubi
👍👏😂🤣❤️
I love grandma Yarra
Oh my god that coat!…I want one.
Grandma yetta is the image of Mrs. Crawley from the movie SINg.
Ohh Maxwell mentioned my country "Fiji".
1:12 Maxwell: "How would you like to be the woman behind the Burger King counter?!" 😆
One day, I just happened to come across this live-action show on TV; by complete randomness, it happened to be this scene. When I heard that single quote, it got me hooked on this sitcom. I had to start watching from the pilot episode and that was really well done. My opinion is that "The Nanny" was the best CBS sitcom of the 1990s in terms of quality and overall performance by the individual cast members; great episodes far outnumbered the few terrible ones.
*Note: I said CBS, not all TV channels available in the decade.
CC wins this scene. 😅😂
So Yetta just felt like changing jackets 🤔
Jos and Toady 😀TV
But didn't 😅
Hi hi hey
😍😂
HA! Hahahahahaha ...... 🤣🤣🤣
1:34 What's wrong with CC?
What do you mean?
She did not want Yetta to be Dakota's date.
There should have been a Yetta’s spin-off. Just saying.
fuck me niles is SOOOOO fucking fabulous! damn I think he is actually better than Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal lector! so charmingly evil!!!!!!
😂
I have to get hbo
😋😂😂
FFFrannn

Jetta and body language :-D BOSS!
