I just got my Pixel 6 yesterday and love it. My WiFi is faster and the battery lasts more and I like the features and not just the camera. Great video btw and i found the fingerprint sensor fast and accurate but it did surprise me when it lit up like a flashlight.

Is it normal for my pixel 6 to randomly crash? It does it multiple times a day and I've been messing with it for the last 1 week that I've had it trying to fix it but nothing works. It crashes mainly within the camera and sometimes in other apps like RUclips. The phone just completely restarts

After about a week I didn't find the lack of iMessage to be that big of a deal! It's a little annoying trying to share photos and videos but no problems getting text messages or group chats!
@@techmb825 I know it's just that in high school people get kicked out of group chats and made fun of because of green bubbles. Apple did this.deliberately but I guess I'll have to be the first one to switch to Android and hopefully more people will when they see it's not that bad
@@jamesadams8 I purchased an iPhone back in high school because of that! Even still in college I get groans about having an android phone, but I just ignore it and rock on enjoying my pixel!
@@jamesadams8 I know this is kinda late, but if you're not trading in your old iPhone, to get a new phone/Android, then just keep the iPhone and use it over wifi/hotspot. That way, you can still be in the Apple world, and get your iMessages and FaceTime. You'll have to carry two phones, which I do, but it's an option. And I enjoy it.
I love my pixel 6 and the camera is great but you're right the app does glitch. However my OnePlus 8t ran overall better than the pixel 6 but I just love stock android though, so I'm gonna stay with pixel for now
I had the opposite happen to me had a OnePlus 8 and 9 had connectivity issues battery was crap on the 9 got a S21+ after those failed me and I'll be damned the S21+ was a piece of junk bought the Pixel 6 and have not had one issues
Hello Your videos are not bad, but frankly the sound of your voice is too low, I have to turn the volume up and when I forget to lower the volume before moving on to another video it's unpleasantly loud. Try to review the volume of your voice during editing, on RUclips the sound is just as important as the image. 🙏🏽

My Pixel 6 order just arrived. I'm super annoyed how long it took considering it wasn't out of stock. Related, with the iPhone SE (3) expected to be announced tomorrow I may go for that instead depending on price and specs.
For anyon bothering to read, I'm returning the Pixel 6. I got both the Pixel 6 and SE 3 and while the 6 is a flagship phone it has budget sound. SE is a budget phone with excellent sound. Tested both via headphones.
Terrible, Motion sense to change songs is not available in Pixel 6. Also no face recognition. Why?????? fingerprint is not very accurate as well. What is happening?

I just put a glass screen protector on, and the scanner is still working fine. I turned on enhance sensitivity and I am going to re-enter my fingerprints to make sure, but it's still fine! Depends on the screen protector though. If you have difficulty using larger phones, and the benefits by the larger screen don't outweigh the difficulty of using it, then this isn't a phone for someone with small hands.
Great video! quick question though. Do you have problems with discord? like with my pixel 5 if i'm not on my phone for a period of time it wont ring to tell me someone is calling me on discord. I've checked all my notification settings are turned on for discord but still nothing. Was wondering if its just an android thing cause it rings fine on my iphone xr
Check if you have Discord open on another device. Even when I had an iPhone, I had (and still do) issues where notifications would be routed to different devices and it wouldn't always send them to my phone so it wouldn't ring.

I have a screen protector coming in the mail and I’ll see how the scanner behaves! I’ve heard mixed experiences with the scanner and screen protectors, but personally I just use a case and I’m not worried about the camera bar. Hope that helps!
I don't want to destroy your feelings about the phone it's a great phone indeed, but I haven't had that luck with that phone. I've had 3 Pixel 6 and all of them had an unacceptable and awful display. Greenish tints, flickering from the display by colour changes when changing the refresh rate and so on. And that was the decision to upgrade to the 6Pro and what can I say a far more better display, thinner bezels and the vibration engine and haptics are next level. It was on the discount for almost 100€ less, so let's see what the future will bring if I made a good deal at the end. I want to keep it at least 3 years.

Therefore Google phones feel and ARE better than any other Android device out there. Samsung phones - those with Qualcomm chipset - represent the best hardware on the market, they feel clunky when compared to Pixels because their software is much less refined. The same Pixels make most of the Chinese smartphones look like olds kitchen pots. But since most smartphones are sold online, the Chinese are focusing on what looks great on a webpage, like screen size, memory, battery sizes, and number of cameras. Meanwhile, they neglect monthly security updates, OS refinements, and new feature drops. Once they have sold their slabs, that's it. The Pixels periodically renew themselves. But all these features can't be included in a webpage of an online shop, so Google has to rely on word of mouth and internet reviews...
I am not satisfied with mine and I intend to change it. When I use e-sim the phone loses frames, it works noticeably slower than with a single card. It is also heavy and uncomfortable.
Just got one, not impressed at all. Seems like a significant downgrade from my previous phone, an S9. No SD cards, no headphone jack, there's a date/weather thingy on the homescreen that seem to be stuck there with no way to remove it, the fingerprint reader is slooow, the antenna isn't that good, sound isn't very loud, buttons placement is bad, no way to clear all loaded app from memory in one go, sorting contacts is difficult if not impossible... and on and on and on. Feels like I suddenly woke up in Appleland. I guess it depend on previous experience, but from my point of view, it's not a very good phone at all. If it wasn't for the fact that Samsung stopped security update on my S9, I'd rather be using that.
I have the pixel 6, whilst it has many good features it is riddled with bugs. Not fit for purpose at the moment and clearly rushed out.The camera controls are infantile and I am not convinced it is that good either. This morning the alarm would not turn off until I powered the phone down. I have the same issues of data transfer not working. So how am I supposed use the 50meg picture in raw format? By the away folks if you are thinking of upgrading, the chances are your old cables and charges won't work. Google forgot to tell tell me that and didn;t send a charger, great. There's other bugs but the list is too long for this comment. One day it might be a fine phone but not now.

And that's fair! I personally was hesitant when I purchased mine, specifically because of all the bugs I'd seen being talked about, and my bad luck when it comes to devices. That's why I was so surprised when, despite the bugs I DO face (weird homescreen freezes, occasional touch screen issues) I hadn't hit any of the big issues. That's why I reported I had had a good experience, but also be wary because there is definitely a subsection of people who have reported truly awful issues with the Pixel 6 series. I do think though that Google is working on it, as 12L seems like a smoother experience than Android 12. Not that Google gets a pass for shipping an unfinished experience to start with on their flagship devices.

I've had the pixel 6, seafoam, for a few months and I love it, except for the fingerprint reader, it's hot garbage sometimes. I came from a pixel 3a which I loved, and when the charging port started being to loose to hold the cord, I decided to upgrade. Initially, I wanted the pixel 5à, because the aux jack and the location of the fingerprint reader. But t mobile only had the 6 so I went with that. I do really enjoy the phone., But if I'm honest, I probably would get the 6a if it has the back fingerprint sensor and aux jack...
The sensor is probably the worst thing on this phone 😅 sadly though I wouldn't get your hopes up for the 6a having an aux port or rear scanner. None of the leaks indicate that, and generally looking at the a line, they stick close enough to the main device. And the 6 has neither of those. Hope you continue enjoying the 6!
@@donaldfincham1620 I have not really, I think the only time it kinda heated up is when I was using an old brick that might not have been powerful enough. But no heating from heavy use
@@donaldfincham1620 While the 6 does get warm, I’ve never had an issue with it overheating. It hasn’t told me I needed to stop recording video or anything like that. Granted, we will see what the summer holds, but thermal management has been very good!
The white colour balance on these phones is diabolical. Sent mine straight back. Awful colour display. Made the photos from my Huawei p30 look horrible when viewing on the Pixel 6. Tried every colour setting on it, nope. Just looked ugly. Videos looked wrong, Netflix, RUclips, whatever, all wrong. The whites aren't cool, they're yellow green hued on every setting. It looks like my p30 when the eye 👁🗨 protection function is switched on, as its regular setting.

I am not satisfied with mine and I intend to change it. When I use e-sim the phone loses frames, it works noticeably slower than with a single card. It is also heavy and uncomfortable.
Just got one, not impressed at all. Seems like a significant downgrade from my previous phone, an S9. No SD cards, no headphone jack, there's a date/weather thingy on the homescreen that seem to be stuck there with no way to remove it, the fingerprint reader is slooow, the antenna isn't that good, sound isn't very loud, buttons placement is bad, no way to clear all loaded app from memory in one go, sorting contacts is difficult if not impossible... and on and on and on. Feels like I suddenly woke up in Appleland.
I guess it depend on previous experience, but from my point of view, it's not a very good phone at all. If it wasn't for the fact that Samsung stopped security update on my S9, I'd rather be using that.
What about the battery issues??

The battery is fine, nothing amazing but enough to get through a full day. Sadly this isn't a road warrior.

I have the pixel 6, whilst it has many good features it is riddled with bugs. Not fit for purpose at the moment and clearly rushed out.The camera controls are infantile and I am not convinced it is that good either. This morning the alarm would not turn off until I powered the phone down. I have the same issues of data transfer not working. So how am I supposed use the 50meg picture in raw format? By the away folks if you are thinking of upgrading, the chances are your old cables and charges won't work. Google forgot to tell tell me that and didn;t send a charger, great. There's other bugs but the list is too long for this comment. One day it might be a fine phone but not now.

I am just annoyed that the issues are not being addressed by google, all I see on youtube is how amazing it is and everyone should buy one but the bugs are not acceptable and also as a keen photographer I was underwhelmed by the camera and the lack of controls. And that's fair! I personally was hesitant when I purchased mine, specifically because of all the bugs I'd seen being talked about, and my bad luck when it comes to devices. That's why I was so surprised when, despite the bugs I DO face (weird homescreen freezes, occasional touch screen issues) I hadn't hit any of the big issues. That's why I reported I had had a good experience, but also be wary because there is definitely a subsection of people who have reported truly awful issues with the Pixel 6 series. I do think though that Google is working on it, as 12L seems like a smoother experience than Android 12. Not that Google gets a pass for shipping an unfinished experience to start with on their flagship devices.

All things being equal i prefer android over iOS , but i cant with big phones, google should've made the Pixel 6A 5.1" or 5.2" , 6.1 is awful.

I've had the pixel 6, seafoam, for a few months and I love it, except for the fingerprint reader, it's hot garbage sometimes. I came from a pixel 3a which I loved, and when the charging port started being to loose to hold the cord, I decided to upgrade. Initially, I wanted the pixel 5à, because the aux jack and the location of the fingerprint reader. But t mobile only had the 6 so I went with that. I do really enjoy the phone., But if I'm honest, I probably would get the 6a if it has the back fingerprint sensor and aux jack...
The sensor is probably the worst thing on this phone 😅 sadly though I wouldn't get your hopes up for the 6a having an aux port or rear scanner. None of the leaks indicate that, and generally looking at the a line, they stick close enough to the main device. And the 6 has neither of those. Hope you continue enjoying the 6!
Do u have heating up issues
@@donaldfincham1620 I have not really, I think the only time it kinda heated up is when I was using an old brick that might not have been powerful enough. But no heating from heavy use
@@donaldfincham1620 While the 6 does get warm, I’ve never had an issue with it overheating. It hasn’t told me I needed to stop recording video or anything like that. Granted, we will see what the summer holds, but thermal management has been very good!
The white colour balance on these phones is diabolical. Sent mine straight back. Awful colour display. Made the photos from my Huawei p30 look horrible when viewing on the Pixel 6. Tried every colour setting on it, nope. Just looked ugly. Videos looked wrong, Netflix, RUclips, whatever, all wrong.
The whites aren't cool, they're yellow green hued on every setting. It looks like my p30 when the eye 👁🗨 protection function is switched on, as its regular setting.
