Keep up the good work Brother. Second, I currently use S23 (8/256) and I was tempted to sell it and try an iPhone, never had one. But from your video I think there's completely no point for me in doing so, am I right? S23 is still a great phone, and will be for few next years. Size - great, pics - great (in most cases), performance - great, customization - super great. I was tempted to try iOS but I'm afraid I'd be disapointed. What are your thoughts? I'm using my phone separately, what I mean is I'm not building any kind of ecosystem. I have Watch 5 Pro and iPad Air but don't plan on joining them toghether in any way. What do you think? Hey Mo, thanks for the video. One thing I'm a bit confused about is which version of S24 you ended up using in the battery life comparison. This is not glaringly obvious (not in the video title or the description). I'm guessing it was the Exynos version, meaning SD would have much better battery life than the iPhone?
I switch between them. It is good to change and taste other stuff rather than never venture to the other side. It will be an interesting transition as the iPhone has pros and cons and it depends if the pros outweigh the cons.
@@Alboroo Hope so :) my current take is iPhone has better photos quality, general experience smooth animations. But lacks in terms of variety of apps, you have to have macbook or mac PC to release your own app into the store.
Well well I'm starting to miss my Android already. Like photos are great on iPhone but overall workflow is bad. I feel like on a phone from 2010's there is auto complete function that I don't remember I had turned on by default on my Xiaomi phones for past few years or alteast they weren't as annoying. There is no "square" button to show all background apps I mean there is pull from bottom but they are in some sort of carousel that makes it difficult If I have open alot of apps to switch between them. Again my mom's 150$ phone had such carousel, can't accept it on 1000$ phone. The notifications are again covering each other which on my android I see a clear list which I can scroll and see everything I need like on a palm of my hand. Face ID is ok probably one thing that is good. General experience combined with sounds is also good but I think it's an old phone. A phone from early 2010's that lacks alot. Like I can't even install a custom launcher that can pack more than 4 apps on main bottom menu. I mean I can but I need to pay for it?! Also coming from 6'7 Xiaomi to 6'1 wasn't the best idea. I'll probably return and order S23+ since it's on snapdragon and then decide.
@@ShoterOTP Thanks for sharing your experience. I knew this is going to happen hahaha What I personally can't stand is the notifications and the back gesture, drives me insane.
Unless you live in the US you're going to pay a premium price for features not available in the EU if you go iPhone 16 pro (Apple Intelligence). better option would be to go iphone 15 pro and save some money.
That sucks, for me standard verison os iPhone are inferior to every other flagship. Maybe in the next year we've got 120 HZ Samsung display for standard version, and LG or superior BOE Tandem for Pro version.
Honestly good lighting is much more important than the camera you use or the setting. It was just a super nice sunny day, with good lighting, and the beautiful city. I could use any camera and the result would be great. Also the air quality was great on Sunday :) But I am using the default setting for comparison videos if you must know, 4K, 30fps, 16:9, and I didn't touch anything else.
Sounds good, but what about default 24mp photos in iphone vs 12mp in samsung? You can have as well 50 in samsung, but you have to switch to it any time and consumes a lot of space.
wasn't mentioned as well as many other things concerning camera. 24 MP default is such an underrated feature. Especially when arguing for a better zoom quality on Samsung, most normal pictures contain more details on iPhone. It is a question on what matters most to you
Great comparison! I wish consumers these days were interested in more than just Apple and Samsung. There are so many other great Android options out there.
If the camera is your main concern then getting an iPhone (15 or 16) would be a wiser choice. If you prefer Android phones, I'd recommend getting a Pixel. They definitely have a better camera than Samsung, from my experience.

@@PiyushBajaj05 You can't go wrong with iPhone. I'd recommend getting 16 or 16 pro based on your financial situation. We were comparing 15 pro max and 16 plus (it has exactly the same camera as the base 16 model) yesterday and while some photos and videos taken on 15pm felt better, overall 16 plus won the competition in my opinion. What I'm tryna say is that non pro version is also pretty good and I'd say you should only go for pro if you're willing to pay that amount of money for a little bit of better camera and 120hz display. That's pretty much all of its privileges, lol.
I noticed that the iPhone 16 display is brighter than the S24. The battery on iPhone 16 is amazing! I think the camera department on iPhone 16 should have explored more as it has Dolby Vision and stuff that makes it more better and all. And the performance on Apple are always smooth. No sluggish at all. And has a better quality apps - Better gaming AAA games. Better speakers as well when watching movies or playing Dolby Atmos music from Apple Music. I think this standard iPhone 16 only lacks in telephoto lens and the 60hz display which some don't mind since on Apple it runs smoother unlike on Android phones as he said on the video. All and all if you want longer support and longer smoother performance. I'll go with the iPhone.
Actually most of the stuff he did would be running on 60Hz or less as the LTPO on the S24 is adaptive. So, it could be that the S24 used less battery as the iPhone could not go lower than 60Hz.
iOS 60hz feels smoother and more consistent than Samsung 120hz which still feels choppy when app closes and opens. I sold by s23 ultra for iPhone 16pro which runs like butter
fyi pro model has 120hz, so it will be smooth as s23 series, comparing both are subjective, they have pros and cons, I used both but prefer android for flexibility, IOS is too limited for my needs
Hey Mo thanks for the video. I really like the size of s24 compared to the ultra one but i'm a instagram content creator and i use phone camera for photoshoots. Do you think i lose a lot photgraphy quality if i choose the normal s24? Mersi Mohsen jan🙏🏻🤗
And if you don’t like curved edges then better look to the 24 series, also regular 24 has rounded corners which is probably more comfortable to one-hand usage and the Ultra series has sharp corners which are not so comfortable for one-hand usage, and of course the S-pen - is something incredibly powerful thing to use.
S24 has 120hz, apple lost there. Period. Also your s24 is 6 months old and iphone is brans new. So there's going to be battery degradation because of the time.
I don't think 6 month would make a big difference in terms of battery degradation. But he took 8k video compared to the 4k on iPhone. That is probably why the battery took a hit in the middle of the test
Forget the 60, 90, 120Hz, I want to know why I'm not seeing actual head to head iPhone 16 vs Pixel 9 Pro videos outside of camera comparisons only. Seems like every reviewer has decided Pixel 9 vs S24 (Exynos Tensor G4 vs Exynos 2400) is the right move.
Interesting.🤔 The exynos actually did better than the iPhone 16 with the new A18 3 nanometer chip in AnTuTu test. Also, the S24 is a little bit lighter. And the battery life is almost the same. What was apple doing exactly?😅 Excellent content.
@@mooode841 Antuntu scores are not comparable between Android and iOS. In any other benchmark or real world performance the A18 Is way ahead, while also being much cooler. I would wait for further reviews to draw any conclusion on batter, in theory the iPhone 16 should last longer comfortably, not to the point to beat the Pixel 9 but maybe in between the two.
I thought no one used Antutu as a cross platform test as even Antutu says that it is not comparable. They are effectively useless. Compare Antutu with Androids only. Sadly, he didn't use cross-platform benchmarks which probably was intentional.
I remember when people were talking about the Exynos 2400 is a budget or middle range chipset. :D Gen3 is superior but Exynos is still a decent SOC. iPhone killer. LOL A used one on 120 Hz compared to a new i16 on 60 Hz.
Thank you for doing videos for regular models. I don't like this ultra and pro max stuff, they are heavy and uncomfortable to use for me. Very happy with my S24(exynos)
8K video on the S24 works only with the main lens and does not support the telephoto lens. The 3x zoom is essentially a digital crop from the main lens.
Its crazy how the S24 beats the Iphone 16 and the S24 isnt even the correct the competitor for it, The S25 is the real competitor, S24 competed against the iPhone 15.
I've been a Samsung user for many years, but this problem of the 8:22 shutter delay is without a doubt one of the reasons that probably makes me migrate to the iPhone, especially since I'm a father of children and I always want to record the best moments, and It often gets that blur, at least on my S22 Ultra, I wanted to migrate to S24 Ultra, but I will probably migrate to Iphone 16 Pro Max
But when tested on the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max series, even though there is 120 Hz support, it reaches a maximum of 80 Hz. This is an embarrassing situation, I do not know if this can be fixed with an update.
Samsung take some blurred photos because of the shutter speed. iPhone tend to make the camera shoot most the time with shutter speed at 1/60 when Samsung uses 1/30 - 1/45
to compare the battery of S24 and iPhone 16, you need to set 60 Hz on S24 and then compare. Otherwise, this comparison is not objective. 120 Hz consumes more charge.
But most of what he did was video recording which will not use 120Hz. If he shot at 30FPS then the S24 will use 30Hz and save battery as the iPhone can only use 60Hz. If he sets at 60Hz only then that may even make the S24 have worse battery as it cannot use LTPO.
It think its concerning that Android phones like Samsungs drop in value that rapidly. You might get a great deal but it makes it seem worth less and you can never buy the latest after launch if you are not a reviewer. Kind of sad actually

True and great if you keep for 3+ years, but the knock-on affect is that the S24 second hand value drops through the floor meaning the iPhone claws most of that difference back, if like me you sell after a year.

Cheers and greetings from Poland
I'm slightly confused! The one put on battery test is global Exynos variant right?
Hi, the one I'm using throughout the whole test is Exynos.
@@techmo2020ohh okay . thanks for replying 👍🏻
Confused because the Exynos performed so well? 😄
@@flowqi212 compared to iphone? lol no
@@gwapaulo Its faster lmao. Ihad an iphone and it was slower than the exynos s21 series in games and apps. Apple is years behind the competition
This doesn't look good for the iPhone, even the Exyos S24 is better, then there's the 60Hz display...a joke for that price.
Exynos s24 os better than snapdragon it had better battery life and it's more powerful if it's not heating
Hey, it's Exynos version, just in performance test I used both.
Just ordered iPhone 16. First iPhone in my life. Wonder how will it be switching from Android.
Tell us how it goes
I knew this is going to happen hahaha What I personally can't stand is the notifications and the back gesture, drives me insane.
thank you very much i reaallly like your videos. will be waiting for comparing s24plus vs iphone 16plus
Bro could you please test 16 pro vs pixel 9 pro. Can't decide which one to buy
Unless you live in the US you're going to pay a premium price for features not available in the EU if you go iPhone 16 pro (Apple Intelligence). better option would be to go iphone 15 pro and save some money.

Tje videography is amazong. What settings do ipu use when you record on the s24? The footage you captured looked ao good
Honestly good lighting is much more important than the camera you use or the setting. It was just a super nice sunny day, with good lighting, and the beautiful city. I could use any camera and the result would be great. Also the air quality was great on Sunday :) But I am using the default setting for comparison videos if you must know, 4K, 30fps, 16:9, and I didn't touch anything else.

Loved the video, super usefull information, wifi and 5g usage, I enjoy your content a lot, keep it up ❤
I have Galaxy S21, would you recommend me to get the S24?
Sounds good, but what about default 24mp photos in iphone vs 12mp in samsung? You can have as well 50 in samsung, but you have to switch to it any time and consumes a lot of space.
wasn't mentioned as well as many other things concerning camera. 24 MP default is such an underrated feature. Especially when arguing for a better zoom quality on Samsung, most normal pictures contain more details on iPhone. It is a question on what matters most to you
Great comparison! I wish consumers these days were interested in more than just Apple and Samsung. There are so many other great Android options out there.
Thanks for the lovely video. I want to upgrade to better camera phone, so shall I rather get samsung s23 ultra or spend extra for s24 ultra?
If the camera is your main concern then getting an iPhone (15 or 16) would be a wiser choice. If you prefer Android phones, I'd recommend getting a Pixel. They definitely have a better camera than Samsung, from my experience.
@@alrighthen I wanted to record Podcast videos in my room and also doing Vlog, with this new phone and also good phone overall, so which model you will suggest me? Currently I am using One Plus Nord 2, it has amazing camera. But as soon the phone gets heated video recording will start getting such lags. So which phone you will recommend me? I can spend as low as 50k INR and as high as 100k INR, but phone should be worth enough. I was thinking about iPhone 16 pro (from USA: 91k INR) vs S23 ultra (70k INR) vs s24 ultra (100k INR). Out of these which one you will suggest, also I am open to new models, but I am not that kind of person who is very much excited about flagship smartphone and will spend extra just for it. Want smartphone which can record great video in house and take pictures and handy for vlogs and podcasts with good features overall.
Much needed video. Thank you
I noticed that the iPhone 16 display is brighter than the S24.
Did anyone noticed iPhone's wallpaper? It aligns with the antenna on the side. 👀
The battery scores are different because the Galaxy is running at 120hz compared to the iPhone at 60hz.
Actually most of the stuff he did would be running on 60Hz or less as the LTPO on the S24 is adaptive. So, it could be that the S24 used less battery as the iPhone could not go lower than 60Hz.
@@andyH_England oops. I meant iPhone at 60hz 😭
He also took 8K video on the S24
@@Jry088 ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯
iOS 60hz feels smoother and more consistent than Samsung 120hz which still feels choppy when app closes and opens. I sold by s23 ultra for iPhone 16pro which runs like butter
fyi pro model has 120hz, so it will be smooth as s23 series, comparing both are subjective, they have pros and cons, I used both but prefer android for flexibility, IOS is too limited for my needs

Hey techmo can u please suggest which phone should i get in amazon sale s23 ultra or s24 i am in an exynos market
Hey S23 Ultra any day :)
s23 ultra has video lag issues (especially when you start recording on 3x in 4k) but if you want the resoloution and bigger screen go for it
@@techmo2020thanks for replying
@@casuarius6576 S23 u lags recording video i dont know why you would reccomend it to him
And if you don’t like curved edges then better look to the 24 series, also regular 24 has rounded corners which is probably more comfortable to one-hand usage and the Ultra series has sharp corners which are not so comfortable for one-hand usage, and of course the S-pen - is something incredibly powerful thing to use.
Despite that the 16 indroduced as smaller bezel, its still noticeably way thicker than the s24😂
Wait I don't see anyone talking about that joke 9:23 😭😂 that was good lol
Forget the 60, 90, 120Hz, I want to know why I'm not seeing actual head to head iPhone 16 vs Pixel 9 Pro videos outside of camera comparisons only. Seems like every reviewer has decided Pixel 9 vs S24 (Exynos Tensor G4 vs Exynos 2400) is the right move.

The exynos actually did better than the iPhone 16 with the new A18 3 nanometer chip in AnTuTu test. Also, the S24 is a little bit lighter. And the battery life is almost the same. What was apple doing exactly?😅

@@mooode841 I would wait for more reviews before drawing any conclusion. I too found weird the battery results, and I'm Android user.
Great video! Thanks for the comparison
what a beautiful comparison.
I think I am gonna get an S23 with that snapdragon cpu in europe.
Will you do also a comparison between the S 24 - exynoss / IPhone?
Hi, what is the model of s24 used in this comparaison exynos or sd ?
8K video on the S24 works only with the main lens and does not support the telephoto lens. The 3x zoom is essentially a digital crop from the main lens.
Its crazy how the S24 beats the Iphone 16 and the S24 isnt even the correct the competitor for it, The S25 is the real competitor, S24 competed against the iPhone 15.
S24 have exynos or snap?
I've been a Samsung user for many years, but this problem of the 8:22 shutter delay is without a doubt one of the reasons that probably makes me migrate to the iPhone, especially since I'm a father of children and I always want to record the best moments, and It often gets that blur, at least on my S22 Ultra, I wanted to migrate to S24 Ultra, but I will probably migrate to Iphone 16 Pro Max
Can I have the reference number of the S24 shell?
Very good video, I had a great time...
S24 ultra control cam with pen
Thanks bro, this video very help me to decide, Exynos good actually 😁
Which company Iphone 16 back case?
to compare the battery of S24 and iPhone 16, you need to set 60 Hz on S24 and then compare. Otherwise, this comparison is not objective. 120 Hz consumes more charge.
But most of what he did was video recording which will not use 120Hz. If he shot at 30FPS then the S24 will use 30Hz and save battery as the iPhone can only use 60Hz. If he sets at 60Hz only then that may even make the S24 have worse battery as it cannot use LTPO.

s24 or s23 depending on the deal (80-100 more for s24 maximum) or pixel 9 pro in a couple of weeks/ months when the price drops. Pixel 8 Pro only if the price is 50-80 below s23. Just some estimates but I hope they help you decide. Correct me if you have an other opinion
I would avoid Pixel 8, just my 2 cents. The anthena is really bad at least in Vienna.
@@maxi_G25 Yeah, there is also Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra, but I'm not sure, because of short support and worse camera than S24+. Price is pretty similar between S24+ and Ultra 11. 6.1.1
S24 is actual "Smart" phone.
You can easily find S24 - S24Fe nowdays for 440 to 520 euros yet people overpay for iphone 14 for same price. Insane what branding and marketing can do.
For whoever saying s24's display is better, just try viewing it from an angle , thing tints blue. Haven't got a fix for that since like s10 lol. Also way to much processing when shooting 50mp, text starts to get unreadable. Night images pretty much as good as iphone 11.
60hz for that price tag is ultrageous!
The biggest difference to me is that the galaxy can be had for 30-50% off, whilst you're lucky to get even 5% off the MSRP of the iPhone.
True and great if you keep for 3+ years, but the knock-on affect is that the S24 second hand value drops through the floor meaning the iPhone claws most of that difference back, if like me you sell after a year.
@@andyH_England purchase the flagship Galaxys in pre-order sales (min -30 %) if you're a market maven. Always have the latest brand new model, and they drop just other 100-200 EUR in a year. Bestbuy. good job bro
S24 is the winner for me... but I switched to Xiaomi 14 recently and it is even better for me.
Remember when apple used to blow either Exynos or the snapdragon samsung flagship out of water ? Those days seem to long gone. I'm surprised to see even the exynos version (which is always known as the less efficient chipset) with 120 hz refresh rate battery life could be that marginal vs iphone.
I like my S24 a lot. But thermals are not too good. Even with the vapor chamber in there, it's not really helping a lot as I can see. It has a nice bright screen at 2600 nits max BUT.. seldom can I enjoy it as the screen is often thermal dimming to around half the max nits. The advertising should be like "The phone has a super bright screen at 2600 nits for maybe 5 minutes of usage." lol
even with all the "battery improvements" the iphone 16 got, the s24 still comes close while using 120hz display, he also used camera and 8k recording for a bit which the iphone didn't while on the exynos
the snapdragon version should offer even better battery, @samsung pls give us snapdragon in every region
