It's crazy, I didn't realize until today that Rebecca's theme from RE1 and the save room music from RE0 are similar. One was likely inspired by the other. This adds some weight to Rebecca's character I think, it makes her seem more real and significant in terms of the Resident Evil timeline/lore.
When Resident evil was unique and not some COD zombie military shootout but an amazing horror story with puzzles and a spooky vibe that gives me chills like this the aesthetic of the games that made it so unique has died, 90s horror games are the best

The only good RE game that has come out since around 2005 imo is re2 remake. The rest sucks. The last one I liked before that was outbreak.

directors cut is better and in my opinion all of director cut's themes were better than the original. I'm glad i grew up and only played that version. Maybe one day i'll buy the original game and try that one. But it'll never beat the director's cut's soundtracks!

Close. The save room theme in RE0 is a actually a remix of Rebecca's theme from the Dual Shock version of RE1. Not this version.
