I remember when Claire and/or Leon first walked through those huge green double doors of the RPD for the very first time. The camera panned slowly up to reveal this huge cathedral-like front hall of the main headquarters of the RPD. 60% of Resident Evil 2 took place here and Leon told Claire that "it would be a lot safer" here. Little did they know...
I couldn't play this game as a kid, it scared me a lot, I just sat in the couch watching my uncle play, he would taunt me whenever music stopped to scare me xd, he knew I was scared the most when music stopped. One time I grew the courage to finally play the game, he already had the gatling gun, he told me not to worry about ammo since its infinite, I said ok, as soon as I entered the passage where you encounter the first licker I panicked and kept firing long after it was already dead, I think I remember that moment because it is when I started to confront my fear of the re series, and the gatling felt pretty good to use ngl.

I couldn't believe it when i heard he'd died. I knew he had problems previously and he even did a lengthy interview and playthrough of Resident Evil 2 on The Residence of Evil RUclips channel a year or so prior to his death. He came across as a lovely man who appreciated his fans.
It's 12:21 A.M in South Philadelphia and I'm playing the remake with the original sounds and music that was included with the DLC. Every time I step though the RPD double doors and the music kicks in I'm back in 1998.
