Everybody will see what the Cavs fans saw in this guy, he's not a franchise player, he's a great scorer but he's not a leader and he's not the type of player to make his teammates better when he's in the game. Boston will learn quickly how he's not interested in playing defense, all he wants to do is score. Franchise players do more than just put up numbers, they find other ways to impact and help their team be successful.

yeah I feel that too, but compared to other professional athletes (especially NBA players) he still sounds pretty intelligent, mostly because the skill of rhetoric and articulation isn't valued whatsoever, so I doubt anyone in a position similar to his, skill-wise and amount of time devoted-wise, would be able to successfully convey the more complex ideas that he's trying to express, so I give him props for trying, but like you said, at times it comes off as ridiculous and in my opinion a bit embarrassing. however, not surprisingly most people just brush it off as him acting dodgy or 'weird' or concealing, but in reality he's probably just trying to contribute to his philosophical/'deep' personality by attempting to answer the way he is, which I also give him props for in a league where intellect isn't valued
