I have a 1971 240Z. I need to replace the slam panel, but I don't own a welder. I could do the other work and find someone to TIG/MIG it for me I suppose, but, there's other stuff on the list ahead of that. This week I discovered oil fouled plugs on two cylinders but they aren't next to each other. I feel like it's the valve guide seals. It's a freakin fresh rebuild (I bought it that way) and so I have to deal with that first. Your cylinder head vids were very helpful. My motor has a Stage II Schneider cam and I have NO IDEA what else was done during the rebuild....I have receipts, but they don't list the details, just the costs and generic "Rebuild motor" kinds of terms. So, now I have to get intake, exhaust and head gaskets. I just set the valves today, which will just be practice for after re-assembly when I do pull the head later this year. Anyways: Thank you! Honest vids. I like them.
awesome! i need to replace the same panel on my 260z also. thanks for the explanation!
Any time!
We gotta get those subscriptions up

Great update!
Where did you order all your replacement panels?
Looks like KFvintagejdm
@@troyoliver6544 didn’t know them…they have almost everything. looks to be very good quality and they are in Europe 👍🏻
@@p__jay haven’t used them personally, but I hear nothing but good things from them.
Yes KFVintage but also check out Auto Panel Solutions in the UK. They supply really great panels too!
