Just listening to the main town's song gives me chills... This game was my childhood... I played it around the age of 4 and my brother taught me all how to play it. Ty 2 is my personal favorite video game in my life.
Yes when I was 3 I played this but never beat it it was my very first game I only got to the part where you. Shoot down the blimps and I played on gamecube i miss it 😭😭
So it's been well over a year since my Ty 1 video and I really wanted to get this out sooner but the first one was such hell to record that I've been holding this one off for so long. Fortunately, this one wasn't as bad, but it was still a bit annoying to record. Major thanks to Doctormario4600's video on this game which I could follow as a walkthrough. His video is better than mine in all honesty, but I ofcourse have to archive my own version also. Many people love the Ty 1 game the best, 2nd as second best and 3rd the least. Whilst I haven't played the third one yet, I can understand why people prefer Ty 1 over Ty 2. What's different is the fact that the second game is pretty much one gigantic open world platformer. You have a map for navigating to the mission stars and there are some big areas with loads of collectibles. Also, unlike Ty 1, you can't track your collectible progress per area. You missing one picture frame? Good luck with that, as it could literally be ANYWHERE. If you want to collect all collectibles in this game, I suggest you to use a GameFAQ which lists all collectibles per area and start crossing out the ones you collected as you go. Anyway, in this video I get all collectibles, do all the missions including the hidden missions and finish all the races. I tried to timecode it as well as I could, but there's also some backtracking that I did not include. Ty 3 will be up in a few months hopefully, it's mostly a beat 'em up I heard so it should be a lot easier to record.
@@longplayarchive you wanna talk about a pain, I have been trying to play ty 3 but there is a glicth I keep running into were the spray turrets don't work, making the mini bosses in the shadow stone collection quest impossible. Also Great gameplay, hopefully you don't have the same problem I have with ty 3 when you play it.
Hopefully the remaster of the first game does well enough for Krome to consider doing the other two games. I’d love to see the entire trilogy get the remaster treatment.
@@pbloo574 Krome Studios went Bankrupt several years ago, due to their games not making enough money...someone else must have bought them, so the game isn't in the original team's hands anymore...but since the first game is remastered and on switch now, all we can do is hope for the best...and that they won't try and milk this series to death.

I really much liked this game. It was just a random platform game I found in a store, when I was younger. I loved the variety there is in the missions. Racing, putting out fires with a helicopter, diving under water, boss battles using machines, driving around, not to mention just discovering and exploring the different places.

I have recently been replaying games I've played about 15-20 years ago and this was one of them. For the other games I felt really nostalgic but for this one I weirdly cannot remember anything, I had to check this video and skimmed the entire thing but I don't remember any of the stages, I had to double check if this was really the same game I played and I'm sure it's not TY1 or TY3, I am sure it was TY2 because of the box art. It's weird, it's like playing the game for the first time but also kind of makes me feel sad that I don't remember anything and won't feel nostalgic about it.
@@longplayarchive More or less the same but from what I've recently experienced, the Xbox versions of Ty 1 & 2 seem more stable in terms of resolution.
I wish I could sound less snappy about this but even the thought of having to boot this game up again gets me frustrated already xD I never want to touch these titles again in all honesty
