LOL @ finger eliminator 😂😂😂. Thank you guys for your unbiased reviews. I really go to you guys to determine if i should buy a product im considering! Keep doing the great videos!
Dont make eye contact. Hilarious. Great video! You said you are from Canada. I live in Canada but couldn't find this blender for sale in Canada. Btw jut subscribed, i love how your video was descriptive, to the point without dragging. Very informative and relatable.
How long will it last? Vitamix and Blendtec both have a history of longevity plus the long warranty means if there is a problem is replaced at no cost. The blade arrangement and sharpness means you have to be extra careful. I will stick with my Blendtec.
Yeah, Vitamix is the standard in most commercial kitchens. AKA they are treated like crap and run into the ground and still ask for more. Saying the Ninja can stand up to that will need a 2 year follow up review.
Appreciate the review. I’m looking at Ninjas for a purchase in the near future. I see there’s some higher wattage ones. Would love to see some reviews on those.
@@TheAverageKitchen BN751 with 1400 watts, BL770 with 1500 watts and SS401 with 1600 watts. Should make a difference, but I know engineering plays a big part as well. Any reviews of these would be great. Thanks!
Amazing review man! I've been looking for some reviews in your channel, but I wonder, would you suggest the Ninja Detect Duo or the Ninja Twisti? I was thinking to make smoothie, both thick (bowl) and drinkable. Maybe some other frozen stuff as well and some peanut butter. Love the review though, thanks!
This thing looks pretty impressive, do you think it’ll last more than 2 years though? That salsa looked better than my Vitamix could make. Cheers chaps.
That's the ultimate question that unfortunately we can't answer just said. It seems high quality and well made, but there are many more parts than say my Blendtec has. If it's cared for I expect it would last, but hard to say. - J
I've had a much cheaper ninja Blender that's lasted me 4 years. Their technology has come a long way since then but I like what quality of product is available for the price point. I don't think I could drop +$5-600 on a Kitchen appliance so for me the price is right on their items and still get good quality. Excited to see how long ny next ninja will last! Only reason I am replacing is the single serve smoothie style seems to be burning out the motor (can smell it) but the food processor on the same base still works with no issues. Also I will say don't drop your ninja products bc they are kinda prone to shattering imo lol
I have one of those replaced a bosh blender. I used it to make fermented cashew cheese. It was a game changer. Do not recoment for a person that does not cook complex stuff.. A galss blender is easier to clean and does the same job for them. DO recoment from prosumers ina a budget. People that are not professional cooks but trry to do professional dishes. For them is a a game changer.
I love my Ninja. I have had it for years. It has a blender and food processor. Plus, a spiralizer that is better than others I have seen. The spiralizer has minimum core left. It's tiny. I gave my old Vita-mix to one of my daughters and my mom's old one to another daughter. The Ninja works much better.
I seen the website and they claim 1800 peak watts on their description but 1200 watts on their specs list. So I'm assuming the blender will always consistently work with 1200 watts and only peak during those smart torque pulsing when blending? Not sure that's my guess.
Good Morning...... I had an older Ninja Blender years ago. I accidentally cut myself lightly, and bled for a long time. Although it was a small cut I did not realize that it was a little deep. I did not realize depth of it was after trying so hard to stop the bleeding. Believe me it took awhile to stop. Ninja Blenders are very dangerous but works pretty well overall.😮
LOL (is it safe to assume Jamie with a J is responding to these) Marc with a C is an endearing BEAR of a man, remember beauty is subjective :) With the beard added appeal too :)
I've had mine about 3 weeks now and I use it pretty frequently. Especially in the 24oz cups. I always have a smell coming from the base kinda like an electrical smell. Anyone else experiencing this?

I love ninja products ive used them for yrs ...blenders airfryers/foodis and ovens lasts an lasts ❤ the power of the blenders are amazing

Do the plastic bits where it connects to the base not worry you for longevity?
It seems heavy duty enough, that wasn't a concern for us but it's something to consider for sure. - J

@TheAverageKitchen Isn't the Ninja Detect, that you used in this video, 1700 watt?
What I like about all of the ninja blenders is that the lid and the picture locks so there’s no chance of spelling anything

What about hot ingredients?
I’d say to be cautious, as the heat can make the top pop off on any blender in my experience
great demo. thanks from charlotte nc

awesome review... but you're Marc from Canada, and you called it "whole milk"???
That’s what the recipe called for. We call it homogenized milk here. Cheers. Marc

Hahaha awesome man !! Thanks for watching !!!! 🍻 🇨🇦! Marc
I heard you say at the end of your review that it is 1200watts, but I thought I saw somewhere where this blender is 1800 watts. Is this correct?
The info we got would have been from the book. What we’ve learned is that depending on where you live in the world, the wattage varies. Marc
Got it. Thank you!

SO SHOULD I GET THIS OR A VITAMIX?????
I would get this personally. Marc
Based on the recipes it’s obvious that this blender couldn’t handle what a Vitamix can. I would never buy this over a Vitamix.
Thanks for your point of view. Marc
What book are you using for recipes?
We used the ninja supplied book. Marc

Opinion on this vs the ninja professional plus food processor combo
We just purchased that. Will be reviewing soon !

Yes, I have experienced the same smell
On a first trial my Ninja started to smell. I wonder if smell disappears later or I should return before is too late
Its alright...ninja has too many blades to clean...i will stick with my Vitamix
