    It all makes sense now! My old PE teacher was a former Marine and he would always call me a pathetic bitch. Now that I look back on it that was probably just some terminology awesome pants or something.

      "We don't need no Air Force,
      'What's a ruck-march?' Air Force."
      Yea, got annoying watching AF form up after we started warm-ups and come back from 'PT' when when we got half way through the warm up. Guess in Air Force PT is walking to their vehicle to go home.

      Forgive my ignorance, but what did the US have to do in the middle-east so you can say they fought for their country? As in what did they accomplish, USA is rather far away from the middle-east. Id say they fought for the other middle-eastern countries, seems more logical to me.

    • @harun9828

      SuperLexxe I dunno, man; it's not as if, like, three-thousand people died in 9/11 or anything. And it's not as if, um, Al Qaeda and other T.O.s were terrorising people worldwide. Or anything in that manner.

      Ian Thompson false. They are allowed in, they are allowed to marry, and their same sex spouses receive the same benefits as heterosexual marriages. They get Dependent ID cards, they are allowed to live in on base housing, and they are allowed to recieve Health & life insurance through the military... they get the same as any other married family in the military.

    So, after completing NNPP at NNPTU, I was TPU'd to HMU for my MIR. After that came back ok, I collected my TSC and EB for completing my CNRC. I went to my ship, where I had to QQ my BNEQ, DC, DCMR, DCFC, and SW. I quickly got CRW, and then had to do RAW doin 5 and dimes. Being an MMN has its perks, but 3Sec duty, high ESRB rates, and quick TOR means that our job was much harder than usual. Also, since another carrier was disabled, ours was RFD, and we ATD on the AG.

      It's because midnight, which is 0000 hours, looks like balls...which they said. Not because you're looking down at your balls. They were joking.

    • @Slam_Chunky
      @Slam_Chunky 9 лет назад

      ***** It's because your head is bobbing while you try to stay awake. It looks like you're constantly checking your balls. Besides, 0000 looks like 2 sets of balls, which would probably end up creating a new phrase involving a gay orgy of some sort.

    I can appreciate this. My grandfather was Army, my other grandfather was Navy.
    The latter had some...odd stories that I wish to write down while he's still alive. The former, spoke like this occasionally.
    I picked up 1 particularly useful one: Land Mine- a buried pile of shit in a high foot traffic area.
    I still use this.

    This is so good! hahahaha. I forget how much lingo and terms we have in the military that civilians never use or have no clue about...lol. I'm just surprised they didn't have "pogey bait" or "FUBAR"...those are common too. I'm sure we have a lot more, but I've become so used to them with 24 years in the Army, that I don't realize they are military lingo.
