there are 3 new announcement regarding Angelina's next steps in her future: 1) a Christmans EP has been announced to drop very soon (probably this Friday). 2) on November 25 she will be at the ball of debutantes in Paris (chosen as 1 of the 20 participants of this very exclusive event among Royals, Business moguls daughters and Hollywood elites) where she will be wearing a specifically tailored haute couture dress from Dolce & Gabbana. 3) she has teased on TikTok that she will have new FIFA performances very soon (next month is the FIFA Clubs World cup event in Jeddah).
2) so sad to hear that, Ball of Debutantes is really a ball of degenerates, effed up history.
I must add that Le Bal des débutantes is also a charitable event whose funds are donated to organizations for sick and needy children, which is in line with the values of Angelina.

I recently took my daughter(44) and granddaughter(21) to see Angelina in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Both of them only listen to her when I would play them one of her songs. Now they listen to her all the time and go around singing her songs. Lol

"Rocky vibes..." So true. It is so fitting for a song of growth and empowerment. The whole EP covers so much ground. People keep asking for her to explode onto the world stage, more promotion etc. I don't think that is going to happen with a one hit wonder. Instead we are seeing the rumblings that preceed an earthquake, with one artistic achievement after another. When people do finally discover Angelina Jordan they will feel like I have felt: " How did I miss this?" and then discover the huge catalog of songs she has produced over the last 10 years. And she is only 17 and still growing as an artist and person.
It's a beautiful thing my friend. I salute her family for giving her the freedom to live life on her own terms and not rushing her into the meat grinder that the music industry has become.
Artistically she has absorbed the best of many genres; humanistically she has watched the human conditon with great empathy and compassion and now we get to hear what she has to say. I hope more and more people will listen.❤

Im totally blown away my her absolute maturity each and every time she sings ! Her mindful naturally inherent ability to construct the musical composition is unbelievable ! She is now 17 and so much ahead of the industry its uncanny ! When Angelina introduces us to a new original song by her its a new fresh sound that is new to our ears for the first time ! About the lyrics, in the final section, the expectation is to hear "and the rest is history", but the lyrics says "and the rest is herstory", a feminist response to the privilege normally given to a male view of human history. Therefore, "herstory" and not "history".

Things are starting to happen. She's like a solid fuel rocket. Once it's lit, it won't stop before ALL the fuel is consumed. Before that she will have rocketed to the sky, the stars and beyond. I didn’t hear the actual announcement. Did she say it was a Christmas EP (Christmas songs) or an EP release at Christmas time? I know a few weeks ago she mentioned new music by Christmas. Also a few months ago she talked about her album being released with the typical “very soon”. No further info about that since.
All her releases seem to be very mysterious. In March she said her album was complete and just eating on the label. Then suddenly there was the announcement of an EP (not an album). It was teased for a while before a release date was finally announced. Then she mentioned her album but again with no clue of a release date. Then a few weeks ago out of the blue the song Our Time was released with no prior announcement other than an instagram post about a new song being used in an ad. No mention that the song was being released.
I think she knows more than she is saying but is not allowed to announce anything until she is given the go ahead. I also think the release strategy has been changing.
I assume her EP songs and possibly Our Time were part of the album she mentioned in March so then there are still several songs yet to be released.
@@pjg58x Angelina has amazing patience. The Old Enough EP was recorded in 2022, but she had to wait until mid-2023 for it to be released.
Her upcoming album is also probably songs from the same recording sessions. It seems that the original plan was to release the album but then there may have been a change in thinking and it was decided to just release some of the songs on an EP first instead of all at once. Introduce her little by little.
Since these songs are from a while ago now they aren’t even her most recent vocal development.
@@pjg58x This was probably a pretty good Grammy strategy, if that had any influence. Get her name out there in 2023, then really make a stronger push in 2024.
In general, I feel a well paced approach is more likely to gather long-term fans.
Good n goodbyes and All My Fault are equal for the num1 slot for me. Diamond, is close, like that little sibling that always wants to tag along.
As you said, this track is perfection! The production and instrumentation are top notch and what to say about Angelina's vocals and lyrics!!! So powerful! It's "good" to know when to say goodbye to a negative or toxic relationship and regain your self-esteem. Be strong!

The gala party “Le Bal des Débutantes” in Paris has been ranked by the business magazine Forbes as one of the world’s ten most exclusive events for society. The upper class ball is reserved for the daughters of the Hollywood elite, royalty, business moguls and high-ranking politicians. So grown up!! Angelina is Old Enough for sure. The irony is, from six years old Angelina was singing and sounding years way above her age. All that music she did as a child laid the foundation for her future progress. Angelina is so skilled as a singer, the texture she uses in singing this song is stunning. At soon to be eighteen years old, Angelina is the best singer in the world. What's weird about that is, only her fans know it, I feel undeservingly blessed.

PERFECT SONG! This is her destiny. Think Lord of the Rings, I will explain. Yes, sounds like Philly! I stopped in my tracks when this played the first time-and I love all the songs on the EP but like a preferred child this one gets the most love. As you said, it is layered. It is deep. When she sings “yeah” to kick off the chorus, that confidence in who she is, the greatest singer I have ever heard, is on display for all. She is stating the facts! We know what a beautiful person she is, so it is so fitting that she cast off the bad and shine. And she intends this as advice for her listeners so she wants us to do the same and all to shine. She is otherworldly - immense talent attracts remoras who suck on and corrupt the host fish with obsequious praise, drugs, financial ruin- AJ intends to not get corrupted. I expect that she keeps up the battle as we have seen many singers fall. Many of her singer heroes in fact who she has covered fell, destroyed by fame. It is like carrying the ring in Lord of the Rings, AJ must not be destroyed like so many others who left us beautiful musical legacies but died in sad and lonely conditions.

First time I heard this wonderful song, Rocky did come to mind.
As with the other songs on Old Enough, the music is great by itself. Add very catchy lyrics that actually have you nodding in agreement with the sentiment. Now toss in the best jazz singer around today giving us just the right vibe for the relationship experience we’ve all had. And we get again Angelina’s positive message of our own empowerment. Okay, I’ll say it today-this is my favorite on the EP. Don’t ask me tomorrow.

Yes siree Bob 😊, it's a beauty. The lyrics are amazing, and I was very happy to hear them from her. She's gotta go, gotta grow, her way. She's gotta have fun and explore. So in her music she can't be stuck on what people want from her either. Never mind the obvious many ways this song applies to us all in our lives. Sung so well, you're right about that baseline too of course. My fav along with "All My Fault", but I know why on this one. Yeah good call on the Rocky for a second there, which also kinda fits and foreshadows the song. This is a massive part of the fight leading up to diamond.
