There is no need to apologize. Watching your non verbal reaction during the song says it all. Yes; please do react to the rest of the songs from the EP, that you have not listened to yet. Once you have, I highly recommend listening to them all in order. They tell an amazing story that progresses through the EP like the chapters in a great book. She did a live stream where she explained her inspiration for her the sings. You should do it sooner rather than later so you can start receiving the joy, love and strength she pours out through these songs in you daily routines. ❤❤

One of my 6 favourites from the album. I like her lyrics alot in this. The use of rhyming patterns you see in lyric rap. Like ladder and matter.The play on history and her story etc. Though not the cadence in this one. It's very current yet still has vintage flavour because of her seductive vocals and jazzy flair.
The whole album is only about 17 min long. It does tell a bit of a story, if you work your way through the album. Yes we would love to here the whole album.

Haven't heard an accumulation of Grammy worthy songs like those on
Angelina's current 'EP', which includes this recording, unless I go back to
Amy's Grammy winning album 'Back To Black'. Both artists bring forth, in
all their songs, lyrics that are 'deep' and 'profound'. Amy stayed in the 'Jazz/
R&B' lane whereas after the first two songs presented by Angelina she veers
into a multi-genre extravaganza of vocal amazement that simply boggles the
mind. The mixing team she works with is on par with 'The Wrecking Crew'
that famously produced songs for Phil Spector's 'Wall Of Sound' back in the
60's. They created an unusually dense orchestral aesthetic that came across
the radio like nothing before. The Beatles and The Beach Boys quickly adopted
elements of 'The Wall', with regard to engaging similar sounding musical
instruments, and background singers who just enveloped their songs. Many
singers have gone on to apply 'The Wall', including Adele when she recorded
'Hello'. It helps the mixing team immensely when you have a lead singer with
no limitations like Angelina, giving them 'free rein' to 'shoot for the stars', knowing
Angelina can adapt to whatever they inject into the mix.
Old Enough is a masterful musical poetry album, leading us through the journey of seeking the personification of love, getting let down by love, blaming oneself for the failure, rebounding, finding the power in saying goodbye, then reaffirmation as a Diamond. Incredible. I love your reactions; always the first I listen to when I see a new one pop up.

Hi Samantha, good to see you back and I hope you're doing well! Angelina's EP was a surprise for all the angels as it demonstrates a whole new side of Angelina. The style of music is different, but the types of messages are the same, always inspirational. The songs should appeal to younger people as well as the older generation, which she needs to succeed in the industry.
I would highly recommend you react to the entire EP, perhaps even the entire EP at once as some reactors have done. Going from the first to the last song there appears to be a theme and a story going on with mini stories happening in each song. Can't wait to see more can't wait to see more. Peace and love.
Loved your reaction Samantha. Angelina is such a great inspiration to us all. She provides hope and encourages us to stay strong and be the best we can be. We continue to be patient for the release of her first full album on Republic Records. The 6 songs on the EP are awesome and a great start to the album. I vote for the first album to be a double album so it can included "Million Miles" and "7th Heaven" along with more new originals.
This EP deserves a Grammy. We all need to do our part to make it happen. She is the best!
The lyrics on this are stellar, both deep & poetic, even using word play & rhymes. The whole EP is amazing & like you said, once you react to a song you can include it on your daily playlist.

You apologized after the song for not reacting .... but your facial expressions as you were listening were priceless, and every bit a reaction as anything that could be said. Angelina has been known for her incredible musical breadth in doing covers, but this song to me cements the idea that she is as brilliant a songwriter as she is a vocalist. Think of singer/songwriters, and often one side of that equation is stronger than the other - but I can't figure that out for Angelina. Crazy to think that she may end up being close to incomparable in both.

Agree this song wasn't her best at her concert, but it was her first time singing it and have to believe she didn't have much practice time with her band. Overall, the concert was awesome. No recording can capture Angelina's voice properly. So much better live.
