Blu has to be one of the most prolific and consistent rappers. He's already released and re-released more than a few great projects this year. Hyped for the Shafiq Husayn collab that's coming out this weekend (My Sunshine might be my favorite Blu track). And a new Exile collab in the works? Great year to be a Blu fan.
Omg another legendary interview.. random side note you should see if Howard French would do a interview, he’s a author that writes about African history
Keep doing your thing brother can tell you put in a lot of effort and the interviews are gold it’s cool to learn about these dudes an know they’re just as human as us🔥❤️
I just made this Blu playlist, pays homage to his less noted jams, although I do love Below the Heavens. But he does a lot of harmonizing in these songs. Check it out. We love you Blu! ruclips.net/p/PLLNxS3ge5ERzLOOaM2BhXypFl9OXljPMt&si=0Xul8EHGeXOtkzoi
@@bennid1981 when he interviewed navy blue, he'd only dropped a few projects on Soundcloud and Ada Irin, which was like early 2020; since then, he's dropped his 3 biggest albums which put him way more on the map, and are probably more defining to his career than anything he'd put out previously
it's like if you interviewed Kendrick Lamar at Section 80, and then he drops Good Kid Maad City, To Pimp a Butterfly, and DAMN, it seems like this go around he would have way more to talk about.
@@BlakeSuperior_Beats if you haven't listened to other abstract hip hop albums before, go ways of knowing, if you have, go songs of sage post panic. after those 2, listen to the other 2 if you're a fan
I love Blu...but you really need to step up your interview game as a professional. You jump from topic to topic, you lead the conversation, you ask the interviewee questions they could never possibly know the answer to (Could it be love, the dude has 200+ songs for god's sake,) and you make the interview largely about yourself (cancer, etc). You might be knowledgeable about Blu, but your inability to carry and manage the conversation was almost cringeworthy.......which is a shame, cuz Blu deserves a proper interview.

Always appreciate the videos. Would be cool if you could interview Elzhi someday. He's been on a good run too.

For someone who has never heard his music, which Navy Blue project should I start with?
