Hey thats a great question, unfortunately i have never had the pleasure of using a one plus 10 pro but i did take a look at the spec sheet and compared the two. The camera system on the 8 pro based on spec’s is a lot better for the front facing camera than the one plus. It also has a lot of photo editing capabilities on the pixel, the Tensor G3 chip has been known to give problems like glitches and other things so i don’t think it’s really worth the change. Hope that helps
It may be worth it to you there in America, but the rest seems to me like google is simply stealing our face. How does that come I pay the same money as in America and I don't get all the features????
😅 ik there is even some hidden software that clearly shows that the 8 and 8 pro are basically the same phone just changed by software. Its not a completely bad phone, i think google may just be a bit of a trickster
Don't get me wrong guys. I WOULD love to have a Pixel. BUT: 1. I feel like most features are either boring or just the standard in every other phone. 2. I still wonder why everyone cares so much about cameras. I never ever take selfies, and hardly ever do I photograph landscapes. 3. In the end, I will end up using WhatsApp, Facebook, RUclips, Brave Browser, X, Pinterest, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and so on and so forth. How does Pixel make any these a significantly better experience? I honestly see none. Finally, I want to say I bought a Redmagic 9 a few days ago. I can't say it's perfect, but it does make using a phone somewhat fun again. I remember 20 years ago, using a smartphone for the first time was quite an adventure. Nowadays, it's become dull and repetitive (in my view). I am not saying the Redmagic 9 gave me back the whole magic experience of the early 2000s, but at least it is slightly more fun to use than all these "flagships"... Last time I felt some excitement for a new gadget was with the iPod (not iPad), about 13 years ago. Using that circle trackpad, and the bright little display with intense blue colors was quite a magical experience. Nowadays, every single phone is the same black display with some weird camera bulges, and that's it; I can't find any excitement on that. My humble opinion.
It's a new processor, new thermal, new memory and more importantly, a new camera. This is not an apple phone that they sell the same thing over and over.
@@ppoyekar All of that is true. And I’d love to have a Pixel. But I still find no excitement in those features. I would love a phone that gave more options to personalize the Home Screen, for instance. The current icons have become so boring. They have remained essentially the same for about 10 years, I believe, just to give an example.
He may be a hardcore gamer. But I can do the same on Pixel 8 Pro and it doesn't get hot. Give some real life context. Those benchmarks are useless. I don't want a super fast jail.
Hi would you recommend this phone I'll be coming from a one plus 10 pro will I notice any difference between the two?

If you arent putting a case on your phone you are waiting for a disaster. It will also result in you getting dust under the rear camera bar.
Agreed but i find that even with a case on my phone still accumulates dust in some areas not matter how much preventable maintenance i do.
switched to iphone because of tensor's pitiful performance, they really need to step up their game if i'm going to switch back
The phone does have some glitches at times but i do think that this phone has a lot of potential
What is wrong with the tensor chip?
