I'm considering switching from xiaomi note 12 to either pixel 8 or iphone 13 pro max. What do you suggest is better ?
Pixel 8
07:20
Man, what a scam 😂
The phone shown has Power button below Volume buttons which is opposite to what it actually is on Pixel 8
Whoops. I accidentally included 1 shot of the S24, which I shot at the same time as the Pixel 8.
Can you use 50mp mode in regular pixel 8?
no
So if you don't game on your phone it will be fine
chipset is completely fine tho if you dont play games... pixel 6 was my daily driver and no problems... and that was even older tensor
Good for Photography, Not Good for Gaming.
Hate the sharp edges without a case.. never tried a pixel phone
This phone would be absolutely perfect if only had SD 8 gen2, LTPO screen, 12/256 (UFS 4.0) and 3,5 mm jack.
Then it would have been 1100$ phone
@@Shahzad12357 and (because it's Pixel) after 3 months it will be 749$ 😉
Joke's aside I think SD 8+ gen 1 or Dimensity 8300 would be better choices than this Tensor.
@@Khamae77 but choosing a different soc will make the camera worse thats why they don't do that
@@Shahzad12357 I think that if the quality differences were marginal, most customers would prefer the version without Exynos. Especially since both of these processors are really powerful and there is nothing stopping Google from further modifying them in the part responsible for A.I. or photo/video.
@@Shahzad12357 why bro? Samsung is giving us more than those at 800$... Except the cameras,Pixel is a trash...
I am thinking about buying pixel 8... can you help me.... Choosic between honor 200 , poco f6, pixel 8, xiami 13t pro
Does it have the 3 finger swipe screenshot or no? I have a Pixel 7 and it doesn't have it. 😅
I'll have to try
Its has double tap on back
double tap on back is superb and its customizable.
@@nipun1188 Yep that's currently what I setup the back for however because of that it does accidental screenshots even if it's not meant to. The 3 finger swipe screenshot could've been a better approach.
U live in a cold environment, then it's ok, otherwise it does have a heating problem
I hate slow charging phones and this one charges slow
Ui good, camera good, battery good ok ok
Phone ain't worth if it's selling for 50k INR(appx 700 dollars)
I got it for 30k (360 dollars) worth it if this is the price
Phones which r better than this - samsung s23, 24,xiomi 14
I hate iphones coz u need to pay for every other app which i can't, free youtube premium for life and other paid apps which we can enjoy in android is the key reason i buy android phones
First thing is.. all phones heat up.. not as much as for you to be able to make an omelette out of the back of your smartphone. That would be bizarre. Secondly, Pixel doesn't sponsor free memberships.
@@abdulmohi100 this heats up doing normal tasks
And no, not all phone's heat up like these ones
I previously had xiomi 14 civi and it doesn't heat up while charging or any other thing
Pixel is heating up even though it only supports 27W charging
Great review. I love my straight 8.
I have Verizon. Will Google Pixel 8 work on Verizon or can I select the unlocked version and be able to use it on Verizon ?
Yes
Good one , but if you out all day and using data the battery life is like 4-ish hours SOT. The Pixel 8 only gets good batttery life if your on wifi most of the day.
4 hr SoT on LTE or 5G?
@@Khamae77probably 5g
I get 7.5 to 8 hours SOT on LTE
@@yahyandanusa7834 Thank you, that's exactly what I wanted to read. Even though I bought a total of three Pixel 8, which I had to return due to defects, I still intend to buy this smartphone. And I must admit that call quality and battery life are the most important to me. I don't play any games. I have an old Realme 7 Pro which, even though it is almost 4 years old, still easy lasts 24hr and over 8 SoT.

Is the scrolling choppy for you
Man there's too much cope in this video. If it's a good phone just say so dude there's too many asterisk* attached to Pixel 8's performance.
Because I specifically say that the SOC is the weakest point of this device
Just bougth 2 pixel 8 at 5$ each per months for 24 months. I'm not going to complain about a 120$ phone ...
I m very annoyed by Google keep changing the phone design for the worse....they already had the perfect size and corner in pixel 5, only to go for big and squarish design in pixel 6 and 7...they have the gorgeous fostered glass finish in pixel 3, then go for the glossy finish....again....then this year come back to compact design and foster finish, and we call it an improvement 🙈
That's so cool😮
I guess I'll buy it...
I'm in the US and I was able to snag this for free just pay the sales tax etc.........
I need that day in life vid :D
Are there any over heating problems
i just bought one from amazon and they threw in a free pixel watch
Which color phone it is ? Hazel ?
Yup!
Why would you have to title video honest video?
It’s a buzz word 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks 👍 You are appreciated for this video ❤
Sorry but this is Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro? He mentioned at some point that its Pro version...
Brother what
@@valismind Well since there is 2 versions as you know (cheaper Google Pixel 8 and more expensive Google Pixel 8 Pro) I was just wondering about which one are you talking about... Because you are talking you have Pixel 8 Pro, while in the video title you are mentioning base version Pixel 8... Since I am thinking about buying Pixel 8 (not a Pro version) I was looking for a review of that exact version... So I just wanted to be clear what exactly are you talking about in this video
@@123kiwicek He reviewed the Pixel 8 here.
I’m here for this
Fancy seeing you here big bro
Hi rjey, love your channel
@@Bambotb 🙌🏾 thank you!!
Absolutely nailed it. Heating while charging and even using 5G is bad. I also dont like it.
🙏 yeah, there's a few things that hurt the Pixel 8 but I hadn't found it to be a big deal breaker. I found 5G to be fine, I'm in Canada though, who knows if it's even real 5G, our telecom services are a scam.
Indian here. Same problems man with 5G. I Subbed. Hope you reach your goals soon. @@valismind
If you are not in a hurry, try using low wattage charger. I use 12W charger for my iPhone , it noticed the 20W Apple charger generates more heat than the 12W Apple charger. BTW I also use Pixel 6a
you're prob not wrong, but I typically don't charge my phone at night / and need to get it running in the morning. - but I'll try this regardless on the Pixel 8 and see if it makes a difference :)
@@valismindIt does? I have an 18 w charger, Is it okey?
I still don't know, if I should buy the Pixel 8 or the Pixel 8 Pro... =''(
whats the big deal on a phone being plastic? what difference does it makes? NONE just whimpering
How was the battery life ?
I talk about it in the video sir 😉
😂@@valismind
So glad Google won phone of the year this last year
I like your reviews.
Greetings from bad bad Russia
Thank you! 🙏🙏 Greetings from Canada :)
All the chip bros bashing the tensor. Uses phone for scrolling tiktok 😂
I have the 6a and 8 pro. The cpu is like 5-10% better according to geekbench.
Everyone knows that tensor Chip is made by Samsung…

Currently rocking the s23 Ultra, but this phone has peaked my attention!
It's pretty cool!
Same here withe s23u

Now review it in the summer. I live in Utah and the pixel is practically unusable In the heat.
😢
No Google phone after nexus is worth buying. Convinced Google designers that work on pixels are iPhone users.
Its 400 on mint mobile
To me other than the excellent camera, I find the Pixel 8 to be clunky and heavy and average...
Those Samsung fans still can get a good trade in on the new Pixels if you hurry! 😁
"Love it so much, I replaced it with something else"
I love coffee but sometimes I go for a tea.
Pixel is great. But for me it doesn't check all the boxes, but I wish it did go be quite honest, I'll never get over the camera, and user experience.
Yup. The AI hype ... the bulk of it is still done on Google's Cloud. Ya can't go into Airplane mode and use them. So what's the point of Tensor?
3:20 Carti reference
this o pixel 7 pro
I love Iphone but pixel so good
