I'm a fan of the form factor of the 8, as a 4a user. As I'm still happy with the 4a (battery is a bit rough after 3 years though tbh) I'll probably keep it for another year, but by then the 8 is probably considerably cheaper to buy, with still many years of software support left.
same as you! 4a user since Sep 2020. Still no complaint except poor battery life. Camera is not great but I dont need camera for daily use. I am planning to buy P8 this BF.
100% agreed. My 4a is still kicking. I want to either wait another year and hope that the Pixel 9 has better performance or buy the Zenfone 10 if I have to.
Loveeeee my p8... Got it a couple of days back at a good bargain price... I have had the pixel 7 and 7 pro but both had network issues... Being great phones none the less... Coming from a Xiaomi Mi 11 5g the Pixel 8 definitely feels better in the hand with a hefty weight to it. Loving the pure Android system and AI. Agree about it being a slippery bugger had to put a clear silicone case on it to cure this had it a week and loving it.
The post production tools for updating photos how you want them after taking are exceptional. I recently went back to a pixel after a few years and now realise what I was missing.
Loved the review! I recently got the 8 and so far I am loving it. The points you made were spot on, but all in all, no complaints. Well, just one actually: this thing is slippery!
Same for me I traded my 6 for 8. Im definitely loving the size it's perfect. 120 hertz bright superb haptics. Decent battery life for casual users who don't care to much about gaming.
@@JackMcSomeone If you are thinking about it then it's a great decision I upgraded from pixel 6 to 8 2 weeks ago it's amazing the software was already really good but the improved hardware is a total game changer 120Hz 2000nits display, large camera sensor all are necessary upgrades it needed other huge number specs on other brands just feel like gimmicks around it
I honestly think if Google threw a snapdragon chip in their phones they would be so much more appealing and have better performance and battery. Tensor underperformers a lot compared to snapdragon and considering Google has full control over tensor chips the optimisation and performance isn't great at all. The pixel camera isn't even that great anymore either and that's one feature they used to be praised the most for
I have the Pixel 7 and I went to Best Buy to see and compare to Pixel 8. Yes, there is an improvement but not significantly. I'm happy with my Pixel 7 after it got the new update android 14 software version. I will wait the next Pixel 9 if the fingerprint scanner will get an upgrade to ultrasonic.
Same I'm pretty happy with the P7 but the optical fingerprint sensor is my main gripe and it's why I won't upgrade to P8. Like u posted hopefully they address it in P9.
Pixel 7 owner here, agree about the fingerprint sensor but my other issue with it is the wi-fi. As soon as you get a small distance away from the router the connection drops a lot and it's not very stable When I'm sitting in the garden I've got no problems with my old phone (OnePlus 8t) but on the pixel 7 the signal keeps dropping out then reconnecting again
@@ilijadjujic5911Hi there, I don't have any issues with their wifi. I'm listening music thru the wifi on Pixel 7 when I'm outside the house or cutting the grass without any wifi issues. My router is a TP-Link AC1900 Smart WiFi Router (Archer A8)
I had the Pixel 8 Pro and honestly, I returned it and went with another phone entirely. I loved my Pixel 7 Pro, but the charging / data port is dead but, the wireless charging still works. I still use the phone itself for pictures and for apps that I just have not installed on my new phone. Ended up going with the Motorola ThinkPhone. Definitely a solid phone. I do however like the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro but, when I used the pro right up-to the return window... Battery / SoT was horrid! I was getting anywhere from 2 - 3 hours MAXIMUM and that was with minimal usage, the modem was using damn near 70% of the power by itself and that was after all of the updates and learning pattern stuff. Maybe I was using the phone wrong or, got a defective unit and should have tried it again? Either way, the phone itself though felt solid and honestly worked REALLY well outside of the issues I had with it. MAY end up trying the phone again here in a few months but for now, going to slam out some usage on this ThinkPhone. Definitely appreciate your reviews and love the style of creativity you use while reviewing devices. Makes for some entertainment while actually talking about the specs and actual usage of the phone / devices themselves.
Got my Pixel 8 on release day to replace my old Pixel 5 and so far I have no regrets. I have had no problems with it so far and I am looking forward to the promised additional features when they arrive. I was put off of the Pro because of the size!!
@@ianmena7263 I have the 5 as well and compared it in a store to the 8 recently and the 8 is the same width and maybe .5cm taller. Size is crucial for me and I was considering getting the base S23 or Zenfone 10 because they're almost exactly the same size as the 5. But with the 8 only being slightly taller, I guess I'll jump on it still now that it's $550 for BF sales and I don't see similar deals on the other 2 phones. I'm not a fan of the Tensor chip since it seems to be the least efficient chip on the market now, but as long as real world testing shows the 8 will get similar battery life to the 5, it's adequate even if it will take a bit longer to charge due to the larger battery capacity.
I've also been using the Pixel 8 for nearly a month and love it! I actually upgraded from the Pixel 7 because the 8 is about 5 mm shorter and is class 3 certified for facial unlock in banking and password manager apps, which I rely more in the winter months when my fingers get too cracked for any fingerprint sensors (no matter what device). Speaking of the fingerprint sensor, I do notice it being better than the Pixel 7 when the fingers are not cracked (as of November here in the States). The roughly 5 mm difference might not sound like much, but I definitely do notice the 8 being smaller in my pocket than the 7.
have the 8 pro myself, and while it could definitely be better in some areas, I'm absolutely loving it! Upgraded from a Xiaomi Mi 11 which only had a 4 hours screen on time, so the battery life is great for me!
The battery life you are getting is not because its pixel, its because the chipset. The chipset in mi 11 is SD888 which is the worst modern phone chip so far. It has the poorest energy efficiency and worst heat level so doesn't matter which brand, as long as it has SD888 the battery is very bad. However, for the price of pixel 8, you can get samsung s23 on sale with a much better chip SD8gen2, which is way more energy efficient and faster. And you have the reputation of Samsung of 4 year upgrade, compared to ridiculous claim of 7 years that Google promised.
Android 14 feels very buggy on the S23 Ultra too. Samsung are getting super quick with updates, the downside to that is they get all of Googles lovely early Android bugs. I've had YT Music crash or refuse to play since switching to OneUI 6 the other day too. The last Pixel I enjoyed was probably the 3 or 4a. After that I just had so many issues (the Pixel 6 Pro especially) that I gave up and went to Samsung. Ironically, Samsung are the reason Tensor sucks. It's basically a glorified Exynos.
Engineers don't choose that, the marketing people did. Because it looks flashy and therefore you'll buy it. And because it's relatively fragile it'll break easily. And you'll buy another one. So there you have it. All marketing.
Been using the Pro version and with gaming it certainly is better, ran genshin just fine at the highest setting with the only problem is getting warm. Not worth the extra money just for that slightly better performance but it's something to mention.
Imagine if this phone had a telephoto lens. Since I'm only planning to upgrade to at least the Pixel 10 series, Google better have a "Mini Pro" by then. Like, a direct competitor to the iPhone Pro (non-Max).
For once I'm genuinely excited to see how Pixel phones will have evolved by the next 3 to 5 years. I just hope they finally fix the performance, efficiency and longevity of their battery life as well as charging speeds..
I just watched quintessential quintuplets and i now understand your wallpaper!!! That show was a rollercoaster and i love every minute of it. Also Miku should have been picked!
great home screen wallpaper taste :) joke aside, pixel 8 is the only phone that made me tempted to upgrade my beloved pixel 4a. though gonna hold that thought after hearing the buggy android 14 experience, plus am definitely not ready to let go of the physical, rear, finger print sensor.
Great phone...got some bugs. Most annoying I've had is when using Google Maps if I make a BT phone call in my truck the call takes over the screen and I can't switch it back to Maps so that the call is in the background.
I traded in my Pixel 7 Pro with 512GB of memory for the Pixel 8 Pro with 1TB because the 7 overheated and resulted in a nauseous display flicker, especially when taking videos. My 8 gets warm, but has never overheated. Only serious problem for me now is that when off of Wi-Fi, reception is much worse than with my 7, which always gave me bragging rights because it worked everywhere.
Can't decide between this and the Xperia 5V...The Pixel has the software/update support and great camera, whereas the 5V is the battery champ with many other hardware features like dual stereo speakers, SD-card etc...!
Yes..1 thing that kills me from buying the Pixel is the storage options..too limited..you can do anything on Android system but being limited by internal storage is a no go.. especially when the phone equipment with a good SoC..more power more storage needed..
Shame about the camera downgrades. As much as it hurts me, I'll stay on my iPhone 11 Pro as the telephoto is actually quite nice and performance/battery life are still fine.
I've had my Pixel 8 for a month. It integrates with my pixel tablet seamlessly. I use a wrist strap I Frankensteined together using old bracelets when I cleaned out my jewelry box, got magstrips from Amazon and slammed them on my bogo cases. Not a gamer, pic quality is OK and it's so way to use. And it was free. So I spent $100 on a new phone, cases, and a new tablet, speakers and ear buds. Can't beat that.
I'm happy with my Pixel 5A. The battery is still amazing. If I were in the market for a phone it'd be the Pixel 8. Wife loves her 7Pro.. Pixel groupies here!
Really surprised to hear that you've got small scratches after only 1 month. I have a OnePlus with Gorilla Glass 4 (no screen protector) and it doesn't have any scratches on the glass after nearly 6 years.
I really like the Android 14 upgrade on my Pixel 5. Looks like an upgrade to the Pixel 8 in the New Year depending on the current software support on my Pixel 5
Never watched your vids before and stumbled upon this one as I just got a Google Pixel 8 last week. Set To Stun at 0:42? Unexpected as hell lol, respect
Half the reason I even got a pixel was because it's one of the only phones with flagship features that's not five feet of screen size. I had an s20 for a long time and it's so nice to have a smaller phone again. I don't really game on the go (my switch is literally covered in dust) other than sudoku puzzles and what not. Perfect phone for me I couldn't be happier with it.
Currently using pixel 6. Have been broadly happy with it but call quality and network signal have been poor. Battery length has reduced substantially over time. Divided between upgrading to pixel 8 or galaxy s23. Looking forward to some real usage comparison reviews on both
@@MJ-85 agreed. I returned mine. Also had the 120hz screen stutter/jump, AOD suddenly vanished, other bugs. Not the worst phone, especially speech recognition but unwarranted price increase for mediocre chip. Pixel-Beta phones need refinement to compete with the flagships. Wasn’t in the mood to be a beta tester again. Can’t wait for S24.
@@arithmetic7105 Buddy if you are gonna talk like that , pixel 8 and 7 becomes toaster as soon as you switch on mobile data, half the reddit threads are filled with call disconnect issues due to the cheap modem they use...it's a midrange phone masquerading at a flagship price with AI promises , half of which can't be done without internet , 20 percent not yet available and another 20 percent doesn't function outside USA and handful european countries.
My Pixel 8 Pro hasn't had a single scratch on it since I got it a month ago. And in a drop test on RUclips it didn't even crack. As for cameras I find even at 50mp full resolution it's so detailed and doesn't affect dynamic range either. There is some artifacts in 50mp images in dark areas on some images but Google is apparently aware of this issue.
Nice to see a one month review here, while I'm still waiting for my preordered one (the w8 is almost over 😅) Good video, not the usual fanboy talk 👍 love the roasts 😂
I have a Pixel 4XL on a SIM only plan here in Australia so run a very good phone cheaply which thus far has made the extra cost of upgrading hard to justify as this is excellent and does most things still. Considering an 8 or 8 Pro, I had a play with a Pixel 7 that was on sale a month or so ago and noticed the 4XL, three iterations earlier, is a faster phone, the 7 was a bit stuttery and the 4XL has a better display. 4XL having infra red face unlock, it recognises me in bed in the dark and I just love that. Face unlock being my favourite kind of lock system it makes me a bit hesitant to change given what you said about this one and I forget what the non infrared sensor is called but not as good as infrared.
I have the Pixel 8 for 1 month now and didn't opened it, coz the box is in Canada and I'm not. :)) I love to hear this good review and overall comments.
I have the 8 Pro. One big flaw to me (also applicable to the non pro). The magic editor function they are bragging about doesn't work if your 'photo backup function' is not on. So in the end, if you want to use it, you need again another subscription with some online service where you can't get rid of. Fyi, after some testing, when a photo isn't uploaded yet, the function doesn't work, if you don't have an Internet connection, the function doesn't work. Meaning it's not your phone who is doing the AI calculation, but the server @google Otherwise fantastic phone.
I have the 8 Pro... So far it's great for most things. Cellular data drains the battery way fast. 7hrs+ SOT on wifi. Overall I'd say I'm pretty happy with it.
How about the summarize web page feature that doesn't seem to be available outside of the US? Is it going to be available in the near future or did I just didn't configure my phone properly to be able to use it?
In the span of 3 weeks, i bought the Galaxy Tab S9, then couple days later the Galaxy S23, and now the Pixel 8 calling in to replace my Pixel 7 !!! I think it will be the wildest tech spree I've ever had in life !
Have had the Pixel 8 since release. After having larger phones was a bit worried it would be too small but not the case am loving the size. Only bug I have is that while it will receive and make calls via the car bluetooth (Ford Focus) the email notification and reading has stopped completely and that is something I do miss, hopefully will be resolved in next update or so.
So far what i have noticed from reviews is it's like when the 6,6pro launched it needed a couple of updates to sort out the glitches thats why im waiting till next year to get mines happy with my 6a for the moment.
My current phone's screen just cracked and I've been looking at Pixel 8 reviews. Your video just made me realize I'm looking at a phone that's only a month old 😬
People who have the Pixel 8, are the bezels symmetrical?? From videos and pictures, I feel that the chin is still slightly thicker than the rest of the 3 bezels
This phone gets hot. I have it. Got used to Snapdragon before that and didn't have this last 4 years. I was shocked when it got hot every time it had to run more than 5 mins. Battery is bad too. Honestly it is a little fun phone that gives me joy so far but I am disappointed with the processor and the battery life

@@CozMyNit isn't just the bootloader being unlockable, it can be locked back. Just keep someone from just factory resetting your phone or reflashing it. Or even worse installing malicious payloads. It's more of a security thing. Also, the SOC is self-explanatory. It's like two generations behind. The node still isn't efficient as TSMC's four nanometer when you account for the lowered clock speeds in the G3. But then again Google didn't use a vapor chamber. The newer AI features run in the cloud and for some reason some are pro exclusive. Take a look at some other phones. AI, The ones that will be releasing soon. I remember when I bought a pixel 6 and I ran an app called AI benchmark, it completely blew every other phone, even the ones with the faster multicore score out of the water. On that same app the 8 pro can't even beat the realme GT 5G. The total AI performance isn't much better than the 7a. This is using the NN API. Until Google changes nodes, performance probably won't be good for a while unless Samsung can step up their game. Even Samsung doesn't use their own chips. There's a reason Google blocked. No full charge in 20 min phone will last more than a year or so. Just because it's nice to have doesn't mean we should use it, super fast charging is not something I'll miss.
For people thinking of buying the normal Pixel 8, I would hold off at least until Black Friday. The Xiaomi 14 is also coming hopefully before end of the year with SD8gen3 which has big improvements on efficiency and has fast charging, 90W wired + 50W wireless
@arithmetic7105 took the words right out of my mouth lol. Plus no software updates with those phone either and some are banned too like the Huawei. I also want a phone that isn't a mouthful to pronounce lol.
Let's buy hardware and cheer on the software that comes with it 😂 which is pretty buggy as this review shows. Btw Xiaomi provides 4y of updates. Same as 1+. Much more logic than silly Google 7y. Hardware wise better phones, now let's install the mods and apks on that and we have.. a better phone 😮.
What i would give for pixel to be preformance focused. Its by far the nicest looking phone imo. For some reason companies think preformance is for 'gamers' who want 'ugly' phones. But as someone who watches youtube and browses social media at the same time, preformance is needed for normies.
Love my Pixel 8 with the super Teflon slickness so far, waaaay better than my Pixel 7 pro with heat and weird screen issues.

Ive gor the Pixel 7 and there aren't big enough improvements for me to upgrade. I'll wait to see what they do with their next phone or what the next Nothing Phone delivers.
I don't and never want to be a person that rocks a phone without a case. I've seen everyone around me drop their phones once and it shatters!! How hard is a case?? And I got a magsafe pixel 8 case so even better accessories available
Pretty good, a couple of bugs here and there (keyboard resizing after android auto) but I think it makes up for it in overall software experience, it's less janky but also less customisable than Samsung- more streamlined like the iPhone but for android
Can u say which one u prefer 7 pro or 8....please reply...i am looking for 7pro or 8...in ur opinion which one the best...i mean how about camera like things
I think between the 7 pro and the 8 the 7 pro has the telephoto lens so if you want to base a decision on just the camera quality - 7 pro, just as long as you don't mind the size and curved screen
Hi Tech Spurt. Currently rocking the seasoned Huawei P30 and looking for something pretty compact to move to. The S23 just felt too I-phoney with the sharp edges for me. Just how much of an upgrade is the Pixel 8 over the Motorola Edge 40? I know thats bigger but seems pretty lightweight. How do they compare? Camera much better on the Pixel? Cheers
Did you decide on anything in the end?? I'm still on the P20 Pro and looked at the S24 but my partner has the Pixel 7 and I loved it, so thought about moving over.
@@CookieMunstaaa I got the Pixel 8 but just sent it back. The hand feel, compactness, screen all superior on the P30. Size is a really big thing for me. One thing about the performance of this phone is that gaming is actually quite good. Genshin is not optimized properly for tensor G3. Which is why you'll notice last year 's pixel 7 runs genshin better this pixel 8.
The 8 is a great phone. Just got the Obsidian, slapp a caseolagy on the back and thin screen protector and you got a Cellphone fit for Jesus and God would want one to. Google pixel 8 they just nailed it, did you hear that i sheep!
Hey Spurt buddy, hope you drank yourself well into the new year! Here's a question if you may please advise.. Now that pixel 7 pro and pixel 8 are at the same price which one do I choose if a better camera, majorly for interior photography, is my priority? I understand the difference in specs but are there any real world differences in the output? Does the 7pro's additional telephoto lens give any actual advantage? Is the pro's camera software a real advantage over the regular one? It's hard to find answers to such specific questions online. Chug an extra one for the effort ..🍺 thanks n cheers!
Only one physical sim is a really important omission if you travel!! Many apps like Google send you messages asking you to confirm if it is you, banking apps constantly send you 2-factor security codes if you use your card, and all to your main registered number. So you need to keep your main number active when abroad, which means that's your physical Sim slot used up as not all UK carriers use eSims yet. Then anyone who has bought an eSim for abroad knows that the eSim set-up process is not always reliable (with no refunds), that it can involve 20 or 30 steps to set it up properly so no stick it in and off you go, that support for eSims is non-existent and it is more expensive than picking up a physical Sim. Phones with the capability for 2 physical Sims plus eSims have got it right. All for about a grand? That excludes Pixels.

Bro everything aside my heart raised when i saw you play set to stun, im digging the new album so much
I honestly think if Google threw a snapdragon chip in their phones they would be so much more appealing and have better performance and battery.
Like u posted hopefully they address it in P9.
good for you!
Pixel 7 owner here, agree about the fingerprint sensor but my other issue with it is the wi-fi. As soon as you get a small distance away from the router the connection drops a lot and it's not very stable
When I'm sitting in the garden I've got no problems with my old phone (OnePlus 8t) but on the pixel 7 the signal keeps dropping out then reconnecting again
@@ilijadjujic5911Hi there,
I don't have any issues with their wifi. I'm listening music thru the wifi on Pixel 7 when I'm outside the house or cutting the grass without any wifi issues. My router is a TP-Link AC1900 Smart WiFi Router (Archer A8)
Looking to get a p7 now the price has dropped with the p8 out, how many Android updates come with the P7?
Did you try the pixel 8 again?
Got my Pixel 8 on release day to replace my old Pixel 5 and so far I have no regrets. I have had no problems with it so far and I am looking forward to the promised additional features when they arrive. I was put off of the Pro because of the size!!
How is the battery and size compare? I have the 5 and plan on buying the 8.
@@ianmena7263 same story
I ordered the Pixel 8 and the Pro, and ended up returning the Pro. No regrets! I love that compact form factor.
Basic user here. I just moved from a Pixel 6 to the Pixel 8. Picked the P8 up from Amazon for $449. It is a big step up and I am very impressed.
Only reason I would get the 8 is racial unlock for banking and apps. It's so random the 7 doesn't allow even though we have face unlock
@@crzycolchris Racial unlock!? Damn son, mega secure 🤣😅🤣🤪
@@MJ-85 bahahahaahhah 😂 opps
have the 8 pro myself, and while it could definitely be better in some areas, I'm absolutely loving it!
Love the wallpaper my dude! and the pixel 8 is definitely what I'd go for if I didnt have my S23.
Been using the Pro version and with gaming it certainly is better, ran genshin just fine at the highest setting with the only problem is getting warm. Not worth the extra money just for that slightly better performance but it's something to mention.
Interesting... I just got the regular 8 and I have been thinking about running genshin on it lol
I never ever game nor would want to game on my phone so im happy with Pixel 8 regular
Also Miku should have been picked!
great home screen wallpaper taste :)
joke aside, pixel 8 is the only phone that made me tempted to upgrade my beloved pixel 4a. though gonna hold that thought after hearing the buggy android 14 experience, plus am definitely not ready to let go of the physical, rear, finger print sensor.
Great phone...got some bugs. Most annoying I've had is when using Google Maps if I make a BT phone call in my truck the call takes over the screen and I can't switch it back to Maps so that the call is in the background.
First time I've watched your channel. Found your review informative and entertaining.
Have you decided? I am also thinking between these 2 models.
Your reviews are always great. The dark humor adds a fresh bit of fun too!
Really surprised to hear that you've got small scratches after only 1 month. I have a OnePlus with Gorilla Glass 4 (no screen protector) and it doesn't have any scratches on the glass after nearly 6 years.
I really like the Android 14 upgrade on my Pixel 5. Looks like an upgrade to the Pixel 8 in the New Year depending on the current software support on my Pixel 5
the pixel five should be done for another full set of updates so I wait another year for you
@danielbradler6546 pixel 4a got it's last update with android 14
@danielbradler6546 yes it has. Remember it's only 3 years old
Never watched your vids before and stumbled upon this one as I just got a Google Pixel 8 last week.

My S23 battery life shits all over the P8 that I had tbh. Battery life on the P8 was awful for my needs
Came for the review, had a laugh. Brilliant video
Nice to see a one month review here, while I'm still waiting for my preordered one (the w8 is almost over 😅)
Good video, not the usual fanboy talk 👍 love the roasts 😂
The Chinese rivals that charge in 20min may blow up on ya in 20 seconds. So many reviewers of this phone with so many different opinions
I got one from Canada, too! I opened it. And it had a finger print on it, as well as some dust that made me think it was used, so I returned it.
Now I'm waiting for black Friday deals... :(
crazy. Not the same situation tho.
@@RsKD34 oh... I get it. Sorry
Had it for a week before i returned it, still prefers the compact zenfone 10 especially the battery. Wont even replace my backup s23.
Meaning it's not your phone who is doing the AI calculation, but the server @google
Otherwise fantastic phone.
I would kill for a phone with a slide out keyboard. Like one that wasn't underspecced and delayed for years.
I have the 8 Pro... So far it's great for most things. Cellular data drains the battery way fast. 7hrs+ SOT on wifi. Overall I'd say I'm pretty happy with it.
Awesome and always we entertaining man lol. Thanks 👍

Pixel 8 vs Xiaomi 13T what would you recommend for casual user, which is better allrounder?

Pixel 8 with bootloader unlockability is so close to being a perfect phone, just needs a better SOC.
why?
Cause Tensor sucks for anyone who wants to do anything outside of what google wants them to do.@@CozMyN
Benchmarks when the phone first came out. They're just now reaching 8 gen 1 performance.
@@CozMyNbecause it’s choppy and the ai is slow. You can notice it daily. I’ve gone through 3 pixel 8 pros and had battery drain/heat issues on two and one had the pink screen hue issue. What i would give for pixel to be preformance focused. Its by far the nicest looking phone imo. For some reason companies think preformance is for 'gamers' who want 'ugly' phones. But as someone who watches youtube and browses social media at the same time, preformance is needed for normies.

Now this is the comparison I am interested in. Pixel 8 vs Pixel 7 Pro. Could you elaborate a bit more what you find better in regular Pixel 8 vs 7 Pro?
I came from p7 pro and absolutely love the change in size and flat screen
Semi-relief you mentioned that about android auto, I thought all of my wires or car were buggered!
Ive gor the Pixel 7 and there aren't big enough improvements for me to upgrade. I'll wait to see what they do with their next phone or what the next Nothing Phone delivers.
Why would you upgrade every year anyway
I don't and never want to be a person that rocks a phone without a case. I've seen everyone around me drop their phones once and it shatters!! How hard is a case?? And I got a magsafe pixel 8 case so even better accessories available
I went from Pixel 7 pro to Pixel 8 on release for the form factor and that flat screen. Will be interested to see what Samsung have in store for s24
how's your experience so far?
Pretty good, a couple of bugs here and there (keyboard resizing after android auto) but I think it makes up for it in overall software experience, it's less janky but also less customisable than Samsung- more streamlined like the iPhone but for android

Cheers
