This is a really good review! I watched it three times and I ended up agreeing with you on the Spigen Thin Fit case. I definitely like the full coverage of the camera bar, which is the most delicate aspect on the pixel.
picked up the Spigen Liquid Air case for mine, pretty happy with it over all.
Awesome video, if you get the dbrand grip case and Mous Limitless 5.0 would be cool to see them too :)
Highly recommend the Athlex case. Solid, not too heavy, grippy and costs less than $10. Worth double the price.
The Ghostek Covert series is releasing soon (I've pre-ordered mine), and I had one for my 7 Pro and it's a very attractive acrylic case that reminds me of the feel of the old Wii controller bumpers. It's not too bulky, and it just feels so good to hold.

I wanted to get the Atomic Slim for the Pixel 8 but their customer support told me they won't make the Atomic series for the Pixel 8 😢

TORRAS MagSafe Stand Case is cool, but my fav case is the Spigen Slim armor. The slot holds 2 cards and a folded bill and it is flush with the camera bump on the back. That's all I've carried with me for the past 2 years on my Pixel 6 Pro. It saved a few drops with no issues so I ordered the same for my Pixel 8 pro and that's what I'm currently using.

You don't know how I was waiting for your review video case for the pixel 8 series
I ordered the Spigen tough armour before I had got the phone. Its a great tough case but i think its a little too chunky for me. The wireless charging works fine and the buttons work great but i don't like the beveled edges and find there isn't enough separation between the volume buttons and its hard for me to operate them by feel. Its my first pixel phone so muscle memoery might improve this but I'm looking for something with more rounded feel on the edges.
Which would you recommend.

Great job, would be great if you could include all timestamps in the description as well, because RUclips then indexes your video, you probably have seen videos like that, makes a big difference in a video like this.
Plus, let me give you the idea of inserting an overlay link to your affiliate site just after each review, make it easier for viewers to click and use your link. In my case I didn't even notice they were in the description and ended up searching myself for the name on amazon.
In case of magnetic cases (like Torras and Tudia) can you please check how effective the charging is, as the magnets are not always placed in the right spot (f.e. Tudia' s magnetic ring is too close to the visor), so efficiency is questionable. Thank you.
it will depend on what type of charger or accessory you have because of the camera bump on pixel phones
@@FishBeeProductions I meant the distance between the visor and the top of the magnetic ring. They should be aligned with the coil in the phone, which is not the case in the case of Tudia. It means the charging efficiency is lowered by the case, or am I wrong?
@@andraspapp3001 you're right.. @FishBeeProductions please notice the alignment of the magnets on these magsafe cases. I believe the Torras' are aligned correctly based off of Dbrand's teardown skin shown on JerryRig's video. misaligned magnet will cause you it to not charge efficiently or not at all with magsafe chargers because the charger will not align with the coils cause of the misaligned magnet.

Great review, as always, Brian! FWIW, anyone that's impressed by something that claims to be "military grade" has definitely never been in the military. That's not meant as a negative towards you, or the review. It's just that all of these case manufacturers use the term like it should be impressive or something.
Awesome vid, I picked up the Athlex case and couldn't be happier. The stealth black look sold me on this case. Looking for an alt just for variety sake. I prefer cases that cover/protect the visor.

My only gripe with Spigen Air is that it tends to be slippery as the back wears down.
You didn't test the wireless charging of the Torras case.

Any chance you could review the cases with a sliding camera cover, and how well each case might work out with different style phone holders in the car. Wish there was a shoe store equivalent for phone case/holders, but alas Amazon seems to be the only place to shop accordingly. No one has done a review like this for those types of cases.
i'm posting a part 2 to this video tomorrow but sorry i haven't tried that style for this phone yet

In you next review Especially for Android phones that uses swipe gestures, can you Please tryout the left & right swiping as most cases like Spigen liquid air the sides are WAY to talk that it interferes with the swiping which is awful.

I work in a metal fab shop and I hate mag safe with a passion in causes metal filings to stick to my phone constantly the lack of mag safe is half the reason I’m leaving the apple ecosystem

I'm going to try and stick with only 4 cases for my P8P. In the past I usually end up buying 10-15 different cases, I use one for a week then it sits in a box until i get rid of the phone. I currently have 3 cases for my P8P and already one of them I won't be using.
Bruh.. Stop wasting money and creating unnecessary waste. Buy one case you actually like and leave it at that. Spend the savings on something actually worthwhile rather than plastic.
At the very least, return the ones you don't like/use

All of these cases are uninspiring and unimaginative. The clear ones age horribly and yellow...they get greasy with FP's and the others kill off all of the aesthetics of the device...are clunky and add weight. I guess that's why I just use tempered glass on the front and the visor....until such a time that case makers actually become inspired to make GREAT cases
definitely personal preference and what your job is, because i used to use heavy duty cases, but now thinner is better for me
not if u get a clear case that is made of clear pc on the back. The tpu sides will yellow though eventually for sure
@@FishBeeProductions Probably made more sense with lighter phones. Extra heft makes it hard to use a phone one handed for pictures especially. Personally prefer landscape photos and extra heft hardly bothers my use case.

You ruin the design of the 1000$ phone with 5$ Aliexpress cover so that next owner will feel like it's a brand new phone
