@FlossyCarter Great vid as always. Have you noticed any issues with the temperature sensor accuracy with the visor screen protector? Rumor is the glass covers the sensor and makes it useless, plus it blocks a mic hole on the back. Also do you notice the black edges on the screen protector covering the screen? Amazon Link has a lot of complaints.

Spigen tough armour case for the win
Sadly the tough armor case is so thick that the extra space caused by the magnet stops wireless charging from working properly

I love this. It's exactly the information I needed about the camera screen protector and what are the best cases.
Regarding the screen protector, I recommend applying it in a bathroom right after a shower. The humidity knocks down the flying dust particles that normally lands on the screen right after it's cleaned for application. I practically never have to lift up the protector to get a pesky speck that wasn't noticeable until the protector was put on.
Using a back camera protector seriously affects the camera quality.
Sick video! Needed to see all the cases - got myself the Liquid Air in slate blue and the Thin Fit coming in beige soon. That foldable laptop stand is clutch! Wish I had that for my trip last month instead of these normal non-foldable ones that hog up hella space
Hi. I was just going through the comments. Did you get your Thin Fit case? How does it compare with the Liquid Air? I actually have the Thin Fit and to date it's the best screen protector I've used when compared to brands like Mous and Dbrand IMO. Do you think the Liquid Air is better?
@@shajiwahab I only got the Liquid Air case but never got the Thin Fit delivered by Amazon. Not sure what happened, but I never reordered it. Liked the Liquid Air anyway, and it feels sturdy for sure. I never use the screen protectors honestly

Great video floss! Have you noticed the large black borders on the screen protector? A lot of people online have been saying that the border is covering a bit of the screen itself.
yeah got it on my 8 pro. it covers like half the edge. so half the scrolling bar on some apps is cut off. kinda annoying

Yeah you can actually see it in the video at 5:55. Notice how you can see the background outside of the black border if you hold it at an angle. Absolute trash.. wasted 22 bucks

Love your vids! I got one of the cases you suggested for the Pixel 8 Pro and now want to get the ex fit optik. However I'm not sure if this camera protector is compatible with a Beastgrip Anamorphic lens accessory as I am using my phone for filmmaking. Do you have any insight on this? I'm considering getting one fo those slide camera protectors cases instead. Thoughts on brands? Thanks!

I'm planning on getting the 8 pro soon and I've been shopping cases and screen protectors. I'm not really sold on this brand specifically or any of them for that matter but I do have to say I like the one brand ecosystem thing. One of the things I've been worrying about is if I get this case, and then this screen protector, are they going to fit together or am I going to put a screen protector on and be buying and returning a dozen cases until I get one that fits. And that shit will suck because I won't want to use the phone until I get one because tbh I'm planning on getting the phone out of the box and just slapping the protection on it right away.

unless I got a bad batch but FYI there is a problem with the glass TR Aling master for the Pixel 8pro. The black edges of the tempered glass covers part of the normal display. like if the tempered glass is smaller than the actual phone screen, at first, you don't notice it but after a few hours of use you def notice how the black borders of the tempered glass gets in the way
You can see it here in this video where it covers the top edge of the light ring around the front camera. Hope they fix this.
I had the same problem so I switched to the old reliable White Stone Dome.

wrist straps for big phones such as pixel 8 pro are criminally underrated. i love that spigen adds the ability to attach those to their cases.

I usually had a skin on the back of my phone when using a magnetic ring. The ring was too thick to have a case on after though. Im glad to see spigen may not have that problem
Is there any case and holster kits? I use belt clips for both of my phones for work.
For some reason, I'm feeling the Tough Armor this year. Was only here for Floss and shoes though as I'm sticking with my P7P.

I have been buying nothing but the armor case for years now, that's all i buy when i change phones. I have dropped all my phones several times and had no issues. I also bought the camera protector for my new pixel 8 pro. The only thing i don't do is buy a glass screen protector. I always buy the tpu plastic version. I wish spigen offered that. For the pixel 8, i love the new matte look of the case, but on the pixel 5 and the lgv40 they used to put the carbon fiber look on the bottom and the top, but on the pixel 7 and 8 pro they have the carbon fiber strip on the bottom only. I feel they went cheaper with that. Still like it though.
idk if you have spigen as a sponsor or something, but checking out that new Dbrand ghost case would be cool. That thing is crazy expensive for a clear case
