So heartbreaking- I absolutely adore Shannen Doherty and it absolutely breaks my heart that she is going through this :'(
I didnt have cancer but when i was INCREDIBLY sick (almost died), I distanced myself from my mom to cushion the pain and she kept telling me if I died she would kill herself which obviously gave my the drive to fight for my life. Seeing my mom cry and pale every time she came into my room and saw how sick I was the worst out of all the pain, the sickness, the weight loss, and the loss of my ability to walk. i can really relate with Shannon on that one.
She still looks beautiful.

really sucks that people would bail on her when she's going through this, i would have visited her as much as i could i've always adored her, it's sad to think a complete stranger if given the chance would be better to her then someone she's known for a long time.
My friend is facing chemio due to Brest cancer. I was with her in the hospital when I could. However when she went home I offered to visit her and she blew me off. She said she was ok and wanted to be with her family. She didn’t want visitors and I felt perhaps she wanted her own space.
We still keep in touch by text or WhatsApp and she tells me things. Now of course with the pandemia even if she changed her mind it’s very difficult to see her.
@@lunadeescocia1999 yeah she was probably going through a lot of emotional stuff, probably didn't know how to handle it and quiet and alone may have been what made her feel best. There's something that happens sometimes when you're with someone through this, I think they have moments where they regret looking weak in front of others even with the best possible reason to be weak, but that can be hard to face afterwards
I love her. I really hope she pulls through and gets rid of the cancer for good. I hate cancer😢😢😢

loved this and part one i lost my ex boyfriend to cancer and I was a mess but while being there for him i have learned to be a lot less selfish and i am so much more calm and more willing to help someone and think less of myself. It's so sad though and I hope they can sort things out now Shannen is getting better. I think a Charmed reunion or reboot is dead if Holly and Shannen never make up

Good interview... she says she was never vulnerable but in her work she was so vulnerable and showed her emotions fully and deeply... I question how she was ever this "tough" girl without emotion in real life... but her strength has always shown through though.

She's amazing...I love her. She was my favorite when I was 11...and continues to be now. Inspiring, beautiful, courageous, strong and I'm so happy she found her true love. My prayers and love continue to support Shannen. I met her years ago in a meet and greet and still till this day is one of the most amazing things that I got to do. I love that she's back to work and as a huge fan of hers will support whatever project she is doing, hands down my favorite actress! Great interview Chelsea!
You can never tell what will happen next... This interview was years and years ago. But now presently its totally different. One cannot predict who will stay by one's side through thick and thin. In sickness and in health... Too bad..

It is so true what she says about losing friends when you aren't fun anymore. And then you realize the people who have been in your life your whole life...........are the worst.
Love N Life very true, people are just shit, theres nothing like a life changing experience to show you who your true friends are, I just cant imagine not showing up for any of my friends or family that are going through such a horrific life experience, o.m,g who even says your not fun anymore, jeeeez, so what you sit with them hold them whilst they are being sick hug them when they need it and have there back when they feel like they just cant take it anymore
@@evamac666 I don’t think Shannen was actually quoting anyone directly and specifically with the whole “you’re not fun anymore.” I think it’s more about what she may have suspected or feared was driving a wedge between her and friends who were distant or not around as much. Also keep in mind there could be more to the story because relationships can be complicated, cancer or no cancer.

I’ve loved Shannen since I was a little girl, she’s always been such a powerhouse of strength and an amazing woman ❤️ I refuse to believe she will ever leave this world, I won’t allow it - I don’t even want to contemplate a world without Shannen Doherty in it. I love her and I have loved her even harder when I used to read those bitchy articles about her making out she was a nasty piece of work. I knew in my heart she was beautiful and it was the industry that was toxic ❤️ sending love always
a good friend and myself both found a lump In a breast at the same time. the biopsy wait was torturous. mine was negative and hers positive. I took off work and took her to every chemo treatment then stayed overnight with her to help because she was so sick. stopped by every day after work and answered the phone at 2 am as often as needed. there but by the grace of God. she would have done the same if it had been reversed. that's what friends do. thank Shannon for sharing.

When my mother finished treatment for cancer she was given a pill she had to take daily and it made her cry for no reason

I had stage 3 breast cancer and the most devastating thing was loosing my eyebrows and eyelashes. I never dreamed I would loose them. I was so embarrassed! I hated to be seen in public. I never used an eyebrow pencil and couldn't make it look any good. I had surgery, 6 months chemo and 2 months radiation. When I got sick with chemo my first cousin told my husband I just wanted sympathy. I was so hurt over it. I felt bad enough without that. My eyebrows and eyelashes didn't grow back like they were. Just stubby lashes and thinner eyebrows. I kept hurting like when I was on chemo and found out I had severe fibromyalgia. They said sometimes you get it after a life threatening illness. It also did inner ear damage. Virtago, dizziness. I walked into things, fell. Couldn't stop myself. Many side effects. I'm still alive but the quality of life has changed drastically. I couldn't take the regular chemo for it, it wouldn't work on me. Lucky me only patient Dr. ever had that couldn't take it. It was extremely hard on my bones. Knees have lost cartilage. Painful. It's been 11 yrs. This month. I still thank God for giving me a miracle! I could have died. My primary Dr. Told me to get my things in order. It would probably take me. I thought he meant eventually not now but he told my husband the same thing. Never dreamed I would die, just have surgery and take the treatments and go back to work. It didn't happen that way. Hope your doing well.

When Shannon was younger the press etc about her was awful so i never thought much of her, but seeing her go through this is awful, she seems like a real strong brave woman, and to put it all out there and share her struggle with everyone just stands to show her character, I hope and pray she gets through this and her cancer goes into remission and she kicks this awful diseases ass, and becomes cancer free,
I can relate to Shannen.s story. One of my Father.s sister had & passed away due to Cancer in 1989. She herself lost her hair. At a young age of 45. Life is never fair.

I lost family. My sister didn’t even want to know what the biopsy was for. My daughter told me I “threw cancer in her face” to get her to love me.

@@ChanelCoco-pk7mp that interview with Sway on the radio was from 2015 and a lot has happened since then. shannen and alyssa have made up and holly and shannen have went there own separate ways. shannen is so much happier now and wont even miss holly those days. shannen seems to have new friends in her life like chelsea, and sarah-michelle gellar.

People seem to hate and insult women when they are opinionated and vocal about real issues and I hate how this incredibly amazing vocal and opinionated woman became a "celebrity punching bag" for so long but I'm so proud and happy for her now. I don't get offended bc I know dif friends fill a different part of my life. I have my going out friends who r a bit more on a superficial level, my sporty friends where I can enjoy that aspect of my personality with, my outgoing friends I travel with, and then my soul sisters from another mister.. So I understand the initial pain when certain friends aren't there for me, but I don't get offended my superficial level friends aren't there crying with me through the worse.
