I started balding at 16 and shaved my head at 19, my old man would say, baldings not your choice but being bald is. I felt much better after committing to it, it did take some adjustment but far out weighed the constant worry of trying to cover it up or the wind exposing my patches 😅
Im sure its harder for younger but i had a shedding incident that I luckily recovered from but i lost all of my hair within a week (I'm 51) - it wasnt gradual. It wasnt exoected. It happened fast and all at once. I fell into a deep depression not knowing what was wrong with me or if it would come back (you can see by my profile pic what kind of hair i had) - it spiraled into a brief but dangerous addiction - but it came back the next year- on its own. No rogaine or meds. My hair loss was TE. It was terrifying. I know im lucky to have it back but it was a horrible ride. You look great bald.
Bro you look good because you’re tall , you have a good body and a great beard . Women wouldn’t mind your baldness . But for the rest of us , we’re basically fucked man.
Just be you, you don't need others and it's true for real... You first need to be relaxed and confident with yourself... If there is this factor then everything change for real
100% agree I’m 21 right now and have lost a ton of weight and gained muscle and it has done me Justice especially mentally. Getting SMP soon, so I’m super excited to finally get my youth back.
I agree with the working out thing. Just starting to get back into it. I feel like it’s less like oh ur bald? You gotta be this macho manly man hunk now, so go get jacked. Na it’s more exactly what u say control what u can. Having a dope hair cut/style can help with ones look…. we unfortunately can’t rely on this anymore. So why not focus on the other ways to better ur appearance. Also it just feels good to work out and exercise is good for u anyways lol
i went bald at age 22 fully and it was a huge negative. I am almost 6'3" and a good hoopster and the only pictures at that time are newspaper clips of a summer league where i am hovering in the background like a tall Larry David..I look like the oldest player on court yet many were in mid-late 30s'. I was popular among guys(sports, engineer, homeowner at 24, smart/funny, and kind of bold "asking" women out but got nowhere. Got a hairpiece at age 27(hurt my hoop game) met my wife(out of town..did not know) sprung it on her after a month(she prob knew) and married 35 yrs, 2 kids doing great, we have done great. I cant sugar coat it..even if you do EVERYTHING right under 30 you will be immediately eliminated by 90% of women due to "appearance screen" as you are equal in their mind to a 40 lb overweight guy
Awesome story Arthur. I think it's important to mention that no one should really even giver a single fuck what 90% of women think about us (whether it's our looks or income) the second a man gives s fuck what they think then he instantly loses. I have a girlfriend right now for example who shares very similar values to myself so I'm rather fortunate in that regard. However, we have so much more to give other than appearance. We provide and we protect and if we can do that while being in reasonable shape (anyone can afford a gym membership and if they can't then they have no business dating to begin with.) Anyway, I'm going on a tangent here. Most men can only learn through experience. Can read all the red pill books that exist but if they haven't seen it with their own eyes then they'll make the mistakes till they learn the best way. (the hard way)
Not hating but alot of this advice isn't that great imo. People saying "look at the rock, jason statham, etc." are sort of contradicting themselves as they are all middle aged men so it's not the sort of appearance a 20 year old would share. Also if you're like myself and still have the face of a 15 year old kid then a shaved head would obviously suit it. It's not even about dating or trying to be attractive for some people, as some people might not even want to be in a relationship. I don't feel comfortable with accepting hairloss at the age of 20 and wouldn't feel comfortable in my own skin just because I hit the gym after shaving it off. The (imo correct) route I've chosen is medication (finasteride, dutasteride and minoxidil). I started when I was 18 with just fin and even though I can't really ever be certain if it's working (because I won't know how I'd look now without it) it atleast gives me better peace of mind than any other approach, because I know I'm doing everything I can.
It’s never a once size fits all. The Jason Statham/ The Rock analogy is an example I use when I spoke with Harry over at Baldcafe via Instagram. Yeah they’re middle aged men, so you have the advantage of youth and time on your side to develop into the man you want and can be. Yeah sure, it might not be about dating for some, but the majority of the insecurities comes from fear of judgement form others in this case imo. I don’t know you, or what you look like. I never claim to be a guru, I speak from my own experiences and if it’s not the cream cheese on your bagel that’s absolutely fine too. I’m sure there are plenty of other more relatable you tubers out there who give better advice then me 💯

Having just had my 3rd SMP session 2 weeks ago, still none the wiser as best to “wear it”. I’ve tried keeping it longer and it’s not a great look. Interested to see how you shave it so a wet shave and or any products / tools you use would be useful. Bought myself a Philips one blade but at 30 quid a pack for 3 blades it’s going to be expensive
I can't lifting heavy weights because of medical condition.(high blood pressure). I know it sounds a excuse, but unfortunately that's the truth. But you are right sport could really helps if you are a bald guy. What do you recommend in that type of situation ? Great video by the way !
Looking great bro. Are you sure you were going bald as in really bald? I watched your videos prior to you getting the msp done and yes you had a clear receding/mature hairline, but still loads of thickness all over. Do you think if you were to grow it all back it would have receded much further? I have a very similar hairline, but it has been like this for more than 10 years now with no further progression.. But who knows right? Great content btw.
I’m telling you now mate. I really was receding. It’s actually got worse over the last few years tbh, I’ve actually grown it out since having it out of curiosity and it’s definitely receded.
@@JoshLucaJames if u ever got lazy and didn’t shave for a time pls post a video. I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s curious like what does it look like if u skip a shave. Or maybe even a experiment like day 2 no shave day 3 etc. that would be awesome to see
That’s a good question. It’s hard to tell as I always shave it. Also, it looks a lot worse to me when my hair grows slightly bud that will be because I’m so used to the SMP now, so not entirely sure tbh

You look much better now than before, accepting the natural is the best option.
Slight contradiction seeing as SMP isn’t natty but none the less! Appreciate that man

Your smp looks really good, has definitely swayed my decision on getting it done 👍🏻
Appreciate that buddy!
Dwayne Johnson is on so much gear lol, I wouldn't go to the gym imagining that I'll look like him

jason statham is still not a great looking bloke. He would never be a romantic lead man in a film. He just passes for an aggressive thug. 😂
